At some point, someone comes by and taps Grian on the shoulder. Grian glances over. The man standing there is around his own height. “Could I talk to you for a moment?” He asks. “I had a ques—” Grian doesn’t have any time to react before he’s being pulled forward off his feet by the throat. The fabric of his shirt collar tightens sharply and he makes a half-aborted sound as he stumbles. He steadies himself awkwardly against Martyn’s seat. “Don’t touch what’s mine,” Martyn says flatly, warningly. Grian blinks away inadvertent tears and stares at the edge of the table. Out of the corner of his eye, he can see Martyn holding his tie tightly. “Understand?”

what the hay...martyn STOP being unstable and freaky challenge failed miserably in faction swap AU. And also main timeline. Anyway hi guys I made more fanart for @rindomness and the gang for At Least in This Lifetime We're Sticking Together, which is a companion piece/AU to Where The Light Won't Find You. So the government just defunded PBS and NPR which is fucked. That being said, the public can cover the damage if we orginize and donate.

Only about $1.60 of tax dollars per US citizen per year are spent on the public broadcasting budget. NPR and PBS offer beong able to make small monthly donations, some being 7$ per month or lower if you want.

If you want to donate 1.60$ per month to your local station, you can multiply how much funding they get from you by 12. If you do their monthly donation of $7 per month, your donation can equal the tax dollars of 54 people spent on public broadcasting per year.

If you want to donate to your local station, look them up by your town here to make sure your local stations get helped specifically:

Grian found himself moving suddenly, lifting his arm and resting it against the center console. Exactly as he’d expected, Scar was also resting his arm in that spot. Their skin brushed, and Grian thought he heard a breath sucked in through clenched teeth. Scar didn’t move, but he was obviously aware of the vet. 

“Then, if you don’t have a problem with it,” Grian said, slow and quiet. “What’s holding you back?”
