The Boy Who Cried Force-Placed Insurance: Sizzling Summer
Spring 2013 – Sierra Vista, AZ – Things were a bit rough. I had to leave my van, bike, and all my belongings behind at the Houston police headquarters. The first two weeks with my parents was brutal. They were supportive in a way that they kept me alive, but they brought over a psychiatrist who threatened to have me committed. Edward Snowden had not yet leaked the info about the NSA’s PRISM…

The Boy Who Cried Force-Placed Insurance: Gaining Traction
Chapter 9 “I wouldn’t recommend sex, drugs or insanity for everyone, but they’ve always worked for me.” Hunter S Thompson     May 17-21, 2012 – Cochise County, AZ – Benjamin Lawsky and his New York Department of Financial Services put the banks on the hot seat in day 1 of a 3 day livecasted hearing on Force-Placed Insurance.  I wake up practically giddy to watch this obscure financial video, eat…

New York Tae Kwon Do Instructor Harasses Women Who Reject Him
*updated May 22, 2022 to mention Tae Yun attempting to hide his Fvck Buddy, Kris Ruby and other NFTs on OpenSea after being called out for owning them on this blog. All NFTs are still completely visible, after his feeble attempts to hide his bullying behavior.
Web3, as you call it, has been around nearly a decade now, and there are some fascinating tools you can use to explore it. Let’s take a case study to illustrate the utilities, along with problems you may encounter along the way.
Meet Tae Yun of Columbia Tae Kwon Do in New York State. This Rensselaer, New York Tae Kwon Do teacher has a sordid history bullying women who turn him down for sex.
Tumblr media
Tae Yun was arrested for unlawfully imprisoning a woman. This 50-something man is a martial arts teacher in New York State who teaches a lot of young children and apparently has a history of intimidating women.
Tumblr media
But it doesn’t stop there…
Tae Kyong Yun of Greenbush, NY wasn’t satisfied only bullying women who refuse to sleep with him IRL. Yun wanted to bring his creepy martial arts children style to web3, so he got a wallet and registered it on OpenSea.
By checking OpenSea, we can find that he bought his name TaeYun.eth on Ethereum Name Service (ENS), so he can accept crypto payments for his services of imprisoning women and teaching their children. This is a great business decision, although I would recommend getting your trademarked business name instead of personal name.
Tumblr media
Now he can accept crypto payments for teaching karate to children or releasing the women he’s falsely imprisoning in his dojo. We can see that despite owning his name, he chooses to stick with his Xbox gamer tag of DIRLLIGAF (do I really look like I give a f) to ensure he can hide his actions from the public, but he doesn’t seem to understand everything he’s doing is public.
That includes all the questionable NFTs this man whom people pay to be around their children owns, like this gem Fvck Buddy with the phallic hair and accessories. Or the guy next to him giving a bouncer drugs to get into a club.
Tumblr media
Since I wrote this, Tae has attempted to hide many of his NFTs on OpenSea, apparently not understanding that the blockchain is a public ledger, and we can still all see it forever directly on the blockchain. He shows his guilt by hiding what he knows to be creepy NFTs he owns. It’s a shame he’s too stupid to know he can never ever hide it and we will always see it.
There’s also whatever a Cock a Doodle is.
Tumblr media
But what’s most disturbing when looking through this man’s creepy crypto collection is that he didn’t stop at buying names related to his business. He also for some reason owns the names “Kristen Ruby” and “Kristen”.
Tumblr media
He’s also cybersquatting on Tony Robbins (who is the perfect hero for this degenerate). And I can see why he likes hot yoga.
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/katiejmbaker/tony-robbins-accused-sexual-assault-teenager-supercamp
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_abuse_by_yoga_gurus
Tumblr media
I can see why he idolizes Robbins and wants to shift into hot yoga, but what about this Kristen Ruby?
Tumblr media
it’s not just one either - he spent over $100 securing her name with every extension he could.
Tumblr media
It appears as though Tae Yun is falsely imprisoning women on web3 too. This poor woman is likely being extorted as he continues his reign of terror from IRL into web3. It’s probably happening to her because she repeatedly refused to sleep with him no matter how many times he showed up at her house with Dunkin Donuts. He professed his love for her many times, and after she rejected him in December when he professed his love for her over the phone, he got bitter and started trolling her online using her name and photos of her dog.
While this is bad news for the woman he’s terrorizing online right now, the good news is we’ll forever have public proof that he’s doing this because we can all see every transaction he makes on Etherscan.
https://etherscan.io/address/0x166754b58ebdfbc45fdf251b57b13ff9adcaa2ae
And we can use his wallet address to verify his Twitter account is authentic:
Tumblr media
The hexagon profile pic of his Cock Doodle NFT means he pays $3/month for Twitter Blue. And we can see Tae Yun is also harassing Kristen Ruby on Twitter to this day.
Tumblr media
Thankfully, although he can make his Twitter private or delete the tweets, we’ll always be able to see Tae Yun harassing Kristen Ruby on the blockchain. It is all public information and will show up on searches forever.
It appears like Tae does not give a f*, but I care enough to watch how long he terrorizes this woman and inappropriately holds her name hostage. The only thing she did wrong was tell him that she’s not attracted to him because he is too short and has a face like Shrek. I’m also curious why he was so quick to hide his Fvck Buddy NFT. Maybe it really is a creepy sex thing he’s into and doesn’t want the parents of his students to see.
Either way, we’ll continue to stay on top of this story to see how it plays out and whether Yun’s reign of terror will end. I wonder what his father would think if he were alive today knowing his son terrorizes women. Tae Yun is weak and cowardly for attacking people smaller than he is just because they reject him, no means no, Tae.

Sorry, Slim, But Lil Wayne Is the Greatest Rapper Alive
With the release of The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem declares himself a Rap God, featuring the King of Rap (Kendrick Lamar) on his album, and hoping to finally pass the torch of the rap game to a worthy predecessor. One can debate back and forth over whether Em or Jay-Z is thegreatest rapper alive, but, rather than waste any time debating semantics between these two self-proclaimed “God MCs,”…

Is Vtuber Studio legit?
I don’t know anything about the underlying company, investors, or business model, but I do use the software to create high quality animation. It’s a legit application – or more precisely, it’s a legit suite of applications. Adobe’s Creative Cloud is useful but expensive, and it barely introduced a Vtuber clone this year in Adobe Character Animator. Personally, I prefer apps like Gimp, Blender,…

25 years later: RIP 2pac Shakur
25 years later: RIP 2pac Shakur
The photo of Tupac Shakur before being gunned down in Las Vegas qualifies as several levels of dark. The photo was taken September 7, 1996 after a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand by then-29-year-old photographer Leonard Jefferson. He tells the story of taking the photo in Complex, which is an interesting read 25 years later The Story Behind the Final Photograph of 2PacLeonard Jefferson…

What it was like working for Countrywide Home Loans
I worked in backend operations for Countrywide Home Loans for several years. In my time, I was a put off toxic cultural things. Worst example was an elderly employee who died in the bathroom of complications from her cancer. She was washing her hands after going to the bathroom, passed out standing up, cracked her head open on the sink during the fall. Her friend found her in a pool of her own…

10 Revolutionary Apps That Changed show We Use A Phone
All of them really – I was born in 1980, and my first phone looked like this: You had to stick your finger in the corresponding circle and spin it until you hit that metal bar. Imagine spelling something with this. My mom eventually upgraded to a touch tone phone on the kitchen counter with a 20-ft cord. This way, we could talk on the phone in private. My friend would notoriously call people…

Does my cat like me?
Does your cat know you exist? If it does, there’s a good chance it hates you 😹 They’re pretty picky, and there are some simple signs to determine if it’s the cat or you. Obvious signs of aggression or being in attack mode are the first thing to look out for. Cats are pretty loud and aggressive when they are in fight or flight mode. You’ll see their tail puff up and they arch their back. If…

Why the wealthy invest in art
The sponsored answer by Masterworks is interesting. Why would I invest in a fraction of a piece of art? It just seems stupid since I wouldn’t have the painting in my house. NFTs are already dubious, but to try and convince people to own a fraction of a work of art is just ludicrous. The value of art is subjective, and the high values of both art and jewelry help the ultra wealthy transfer their…

How did the MCU transform its actors’ lives?
I feel like everyone answering forgot about Robert Downey Jr. It’s true that he was famous long before Iron Man. He started acting in 1970, and by the 1980s, he reached his first career peak acting alongside the Brat Pack. In the 1990s, his career hit a tailspin as he fell into drug and alcohol addiction. He was even sentenced to 3 years in prison at one point. Robert Downey Jr. Gets 3 Years…

Living with javelina
In southern Arizona, we have javelinas, also known as collared peccary. They’re somewhat of a cross between pig and hippo. Here’s a video of a lone javelina sprinting through Tucson taken last February. You see them a lot in the desert down here, and they are rarely solo like the runner above. They’re pack animals that socialize with each other for protection. They can honestly be adorable…

Unpopular opinion: Ethereum isn’t guaranteed success
Anytime you talk about blockchain or cryptocurrency, you’ll be parried at every corner with talk about all the wonderful use cases of blockchain technology in everything. Blockchain is great for the supply chain. Tokenized transactions are the wave of the future. Every musician needs to mint an NFT. Smart contracts will revolutionize real estate and law. This could all be true – all of these…

Underrated live performances
Musicians often sound different on an album versus in concert. Sometimes they can be disappointing, but I’ve been lucky to see some great live performances. One of the most underrated bands was Linkin Park. Chester Bennington’s voice was just as great (if not better) in a giant stadium as in the album. The tour I saw (Projekt Revolution) also had Mudvayne, Xhibit, and Supernatural. The fans…

Is it too late to invest in crypto?
It’s never too late to invest in cryptocurrency. I’ve been using crypto for the past decade and watching the industry grow. The biggest problem for crypto is mainstream adoption, and there have been major steps in the right direction in the last few years. Elon Musk and Mark Cuban’s love affair with Dogecoin is stupid, but banks like USAA and fintech apps like PayPal supporting crypto is…

Does CGI from 20 years ago hold up today?
When we think of CGI, it’s easy to think about all those graphics-intense sci-fi movies like Starship Troopers (which I think aged far better than Star Wars) It uses the same mix of CGI, miniatures, and animatronics that Jurassic Park did for its dinosaurs. That made everything blend well, as the team combined media to create each character or effect as necessary. Of course, not all CGI is…

Clubhouse Could Be the Future of Social Media
Clubhouse Could Be the Future of Social Media
If you’re not an iPhone user, you may have heard of Clubhouse, but you can’t get in yet. That’s because the social network keeps making headlines for hosting exclusive conversations with big-name people. But it’s not yet available on Android. Wall Street reacted by investing in the company hosting its servers, and the app is quickly becoming the “next big thing.” I bought an iPhone 12 Pro to join…
