Someone should listen to Burn It Down by Linkin Park and talk to me about how it sounds like Torbek and Kremy's relationship.i think I'm cooking here but I desperately want a second opinion.

I had a point to this, some kinda thing about Torbek trying to stop Kremy from like, running off or doing some kinda self-sabatoging thing, even if Krem is yelling at him (and could/might even bite him idk), but i can't really get it into words right. I know it'll never happen in canon, but I just need to wring every scrap of hurt/comfort from these two I can get.

I think Gricko really IS symmetrical, at least by goblin standards. I think Goblins have extremely variable nose, chin, and ear sizes, so Gricko's features are actually really nicely balanced! This makes him more attractive to goblins--and, because his features aren't wildly sized, attractive to most other races as well

Other goblins--USING PIXEL TOO EVEN THOUGH SHE'S A GLOWBLIN--Showcase what it looks like to not be symmetrical, which is extremely common and nothing to be ashamed of.

Pixel would probably be considered more conventionally attractive than Skrimm, because two of her major features are the same size! Not to say skrimm is unattractive, he's just not gonna end up on any goblin magazine covers.

Okay so it first hit me really when I was listening to the very last chorus! However because this is my favorite band I'm gonna break it down by verse to the best of my ability.

The cycle repeated

This is referring to Kremy. He could break the cycle of abuse but he either doesn’t know how or doesn’t see it. However, the cycle of abuse can’t stop unless he realizes it. 

All that I needed

Was the one thing I couldn't find

All that Torbek needed was friends/a family. However, because of how Kremy treats him he will always feel like he’s on the outs.

Kremy is always there to lead them. To tell them where to go. At every turn. 

The colors conflicted

As the flames climbed into the clouds

In this sense colors could mean literally how Torbek sees Kremy vs how he really is. The colors are conflicted.

I wanted to fix this

Torbek always tries to help but he can not fix something that is destined to fail. He can not stop Kremy’s destruction/self-sabotaging.

This was the first part that struck me. Torbek held Kremy on such a pedestal. He believed everything he said because in his eyes why would Kremy hurt him.

And struck me down when I kissed that ring

The soldier and king thing is pretty self explanatory, Torbek as the doer and Kremy as the dictator. 

You lost that right to hold that crown

I built you up but you let me down. 

Again I feel this is pretty clear. All Torbek does is build Kremy up but Kremy continues to disappoint and use him.

So when the time comes that Kremy does “fall” Torbek has more than enough against him to destroy him.

This could be seen as the future if Kremy doesn’t change. Torbek taking his turn to “fan the flames” of Kremy’s downfall.
