An Unexpected Morning in Vegas 3/3
Part 1, Part 2
X Men Masterlist
X Men Masterlist 2
Michael x reader James x sister!reader
Tumblr media
Back in James' hotel suite, the tension is thick enough to cut with a knife. James paces back and forth, while Y/N and Michael sit on the couch, trying to explain themselves. The marriage certificate that Michael had brought with him is now spread out on the table, and James stares at it as if it’s about to explode.
“So,” James starts, his voice dangerously calm. “You wanted to explain how this happened. I’m listening.”
Y/N throws a pleading glance at Michael, but he just shrugs slightly. She takes a deep breath and begins: “James, it wasn’t planned. We were at the bar, had a little too much to drink, and somehow… it seemed like a fun idea at the time.”
James stops pacing and turns to face her. “A fun idea? Y/N, we’re not talking about you buying a cheesy t-shirt. You got married. Married! And not to just anyone, but to Michael. MY FRIEND.”
Michael raises his hands. “James, I know this looks bad. But it wasn’t intentional. We really didn’t mean to deceive you.”
“Oh really?” James crosses his arms and looks them both over. “So what was the plan then? To keep it a secret forever?”
Y/N turns red with embarrassment. “We wanted to figure it out before talking to you about it. It’s all so fresh.”
“Fresh? You’ve literally been married for one day! And you’re acting like it’s no big deal.”
Michael stands up now, hands on his hips. “James, it’s not that we’re taking this lightly. But we’re trying to understand it ourselves. It was a mistake, okay? We know that. But can you give us a moment to breathe?”
James shakes his head in disbelief. “A mistake? And what now? You’re going to annul the marriage and pretend like nothing happened?”
Y/N bites her lip. “We don’t know yet,” she murmurs.
James’ eyes widen. “What? You don’t know? Are you seriously considering going through with this?”
Michael looks to Y/N, and she feels the tension in the air. She knows he’s just as uncertain as she is, but there’s a part of her that refuses to just call it a "mistake."
“Maybe,” Michael says finally, his voice calm but firm. “Maybe it wasn’t as big of a mistake as it seems.”
James stares at him as if he’s lost his mind. “Have you completely lost it? Michael, this is my little sister. You’re not just a couple of years apart, but 25 years!”
“Age doesn’t matter,” Michael counters calmly. “And you know I respect Y/N. I would never hurt her.”
James laughs bitterly. “Respect her? Really? You married her while she was drunk. How much respect is that supposed to show?”
Y/N jumps up, now angry too. “Stop attacking him! I was just as involved as he was, okay? It was my decision just as much as his. And maybe it’s hard for both of us right now, but I don’t regret it. Not really.”
The words hang in the air, and James stares at her, speechless. Y/N breathes heavily, her hands shaking.
“You don’t regret it?” James asks finally, his voice quieter, but still sharp.
Y/N looks her brother straight in the eye. “No. Not the way you think. Maybe the way it happened was wrong. But… I like Michael. I have for a long time. And if you weren’t so blind, you might have noticed.”
James is silent, and Michael gently places a hand on her arm. “Y/N…”
“No, Michael, I’m serious.” She looks at James. “I’m sorry you’re so shocked. But I like him, and if that means we have to figure this out, then so be it. No matter what you think.”
James rubs his temples and sighs deeply. “I need a drink,” he mutters, before heading to the minibar to pour himself a glass.
There’s a long silence in the room before James speaks again. “Okay. I can’t just accept this. But I’m not going to blow up. Not yet. You’re lucky I like both of you.”
Michael and Y/N look at each other, unsure whether to consider this a win.
“But I’m warning you,” James adds, pointing at them. “There will be consequences. And if you screw this up, I’ll never forgive you.”
Y/N nods slowly. “That’s fair.”
James sighs and takes a large sip from his drink. “Vegas,” he murmurs, shaking his head. “Why does it always have to be Vegas?”
Michael and Y/N exchange a small, almost imperceptible glance. Maybe this was the first step to turning this chaos into something real.

Part 1, last Part
X Men Masterlist

Tumblr media
A little later, Y/N, Michael, and James are sitting in a bustling café in the hotel. James is in high spirits and enthusiastically talks about his plans for the day, while Y/N and Michael try to calm their nerves.
"So, I got tickets for this amazing show tonight," James says, pushing his sunglasses up. "But before that, we could hit the pool or go shopping. What do you think?"
Michael mutters an agreement while sipping his coffee, and Y/N nods absentmindedly. Her gaze keeps drifting to Michael. The knowledge of their "secret marriage" weighs heavily on her, but she tries not to let it show.
"What's up with you two?" James suddenly asks. "You guys are acting… weird today."
"We're just tired," Y/N says quickly, pushing her croissant back and forth. "The night was... long."
James shrugs and grabs his phone. "Okay, well, you two are definitely the most boring people I know. But whatever. I'll check the news."
He opens Instagram, scrolls for a bit, and then freezes. His eyes widen, and his mouth opens slightly.
"What the hell?" he mutters.
Y/N and Michael look up. "What's going on?" Y/N asks, unsure if she really wants to hear the answer.
James turns the phone screen towards them. It shows a blurry, but clearly recognizable photo of Y/N and Michael. They're standing in front of a Vegas wedding chapel sign, laughing and holding hands. In the background, the glowing letters of "Little White Wedding Chapel" are visible.
Michael almost chokes on his coffee, and Y/N's eyes widen. "Oh no," she murmurs.
"This is a joke, right?" James taps frantically on his phone to scroll through more posts. There are more pictures—one shows Y/N and Michael in the chapel, laughing as they toast to each other, another shows them leaving the chapel with their rings. A user's caption reads: "Aren't these Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy's sister? Witnessing Vegas drama live!"
"I... I can explain," Y/N stammers, her cheeks turning bright red.
James looks at her in disbelief. "You two really got married?!" His voice is loud enough that people at the next table glance over.
Michael raises his hands in a calming gesture. "Okay, relax, James. It's not what it looks like."
James jumps up. "Not what it looks like? It looks like you both got married in Vegas! And apparently, the whole internet knows about it already!"
Y/N tries to come up with an explanation, but her thoughts are racing. "It was... an accident. We were drunk."
James laughs incredulously. "An accident? You two? Drunk? And then just went and got married? What were you thinking?!"
Michael looks at James seriously. "Listen, we wanted to tell you. But we wanted to figure things out ourselves first, before we..."
James interrupts him with a dismissive gesture. "Sure, you wanted to keep me out of it. I'm just your brother, Y/N, and your friend, Michael."
Y/N grabs James' arm. "Please, let's talk about this somewhere else. Not here, in front of everyone."
James looks at her, his jaw clenched, but finally nods. "Fine. But don't think you're getting away with this. You owe me one hell of an explanation."
As they leave the café, Y/N feels Michael's hand lightly brush her arm. A glance at him shows that he's as nervous as she is. But in his eyes, there's something else—an air of determination that gives her at least a little bit of hope.

An Unexpected Morning in Vegas 1/3
2 and 3
X Men Masterlist
X Men Masterlist 2
Michael x reader James x sister!reader
Tumblr media
The sun is shining brightly through the curtains, and a dull pain throbs behind Y/N's forehead. She slowly opens her eyes and blinks into the luxurious hotel room. It takes a few seconds before she realizes she’s not alone. Next to her, only half-covered, lies Michael Fassbender, also half-asleep and clearly just as confused as she is.
"What...?" Y/N sits up abruptly, instantly causing a headache. "Michael? What are you doing in my bed?"
Michael rubs his eyes and props himself up on one elbow. His tousled hair and still slightly sleepy expression stand in stark contrast to his usual confident demeanor. "I was just about to ask you that." He looks her over, his eyes widening when he sees her hands. "Oh no..."
Y/N follows his gaze. A narrow gold ring is glinting on her finger. She frantically looks at Michael's hand – he’s wearing the same ring.
"No, no, no..." Y/N jumps out of bed, almost stumbling, and finds a piece of paper amidst the chaos on the nightstand. She grabs it and reads aloud: "Marriage... Y/N McAvoy and Michael Fassbender... yesterday at... 2:43 AM?!"
Michael jumps up as well. "This is a joke, right? A bad Vegas prank?" He takes the document from her hand and stares at it in disbelief.
"How could this happen?" Y/N paces, desperately trying to remember the events of the last night.
Michael leans his hands on the table, thinking out loud. "We were with James at the bar. He got distracted... was talking to that red-haired woman. And we... we drank. A lot."
Y/N stops in her tracks. "Oh God, the tequila."
Michael slowly nods, as if everything is suddenly making sense. "And then you wanted to dance... I remember you insisting I join you."
"And after that... we somehow... ended up here?" Y/N frowns. Her voice is soft, almost unsure. "And we thought it was a great idea to get married?"
Michael laughs dryly. "It sure looks that way."
For a moment, silence hangs in the air. They both stand there, trying to process the situation.
"James is going to kill us," Y/N finally says.
Michael sighs deeply. "Oh, you can bet on it. Your big brother isn't exactly known for his calmness."
"He warned us about Vegas clichés!" Y/N buries her face in her hands.
Michael gently places a hand on her shoulder. "Okay, let’s calm down. There’s got to be a way to undo this. An annulment or something."
Y/N looks at him, and something in his expression makes her heart skip a beat. He looks concerned, but there's also a hint of... tenderness?
"Michael, we... need to talk about this. I mean, I..." She trails off, unsure how to put her thoughts into words.
"What?" he asks softly.
"I have feelings for you," she blurts out before she can stop herself. Her cheeks flush, and she looks away. "I've felt that way for a while. But this... this is crazy."
Michael stares at her, surprised. Then he smiles. It’s a warm, gentle smile that eases her nervousness a little.
"Y/N," he begins, his voice sincere. "I never thought you felt that way. But now that you say it... maybe this isn't as crazy as it seems."
Y/N lifts her head and meets his gaze. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, I like you too. A lot." He takes her hands in his. "Maybe we shouldn't rush into anything. But maybe... we shouldn't pretend like this is all a mistake."
A knock interrupts the tense moment.
"Y/N! Michael! Are you awake?" It’s James' voice, sounding suspicious.
Y/N and Michael exchange a panicked look.
"This is going to be interesting," Michael mutters with a crooked smile before heading toward the door. Y/N takes a deep breath.
Michael opens the door just a crack, enough to see James' face. James eyes the room suspiciously.
"What took you so long?" James asks, eyeing Michael critically. "You two really went overboard yesterday, didn’t you? You look like you've been hit by a train."
Michael laughs nervously. "Uh, yeah. Long night. What’s up?"
James narrows his eyes. "I just wanted to see if you’re still alive. Y/N, are you in there?"
Y/N, frantically searching for a solution in the background, hastily grabs her ring and pulls it off. She quickly throws it into a drawer, while Michael does the same with his and sticks it in his pants pocket. Then she calls out overly cheerfully, "Yeah, I'm here! All good, James!"
James pushes the door open further and steps into the room. His eyes scan the chaos: scattered clothes, two glasses that still smell like tequila, and... the paper that’s still lying on the nightstand.
"What’s this?" he asks, reaching for it before either Michael or Y/N can react.
Both freeze.
"Marriage?" James reads slowly, emphasizing each word. "Y/N McAvoy and... Michael Fassbender?!"
Y/N snatches the paper from his hand and laughs loudly, way too exaggerated. "Oh, it’s just a joke! You know, Vegas... they slipped us something because we were so drunk."
James crosses his arms and looks from one to the other. "A joke? Really?"
Michael clears his throat. "Yeah, exactly. We didn’t even realize it until we woke up this morning. Totally crazy."
James raises an eyebrow. "And where are the rings?"
Y/N goes pale. "Rings? What rings?"
James points at her hand. "Well, the one you'd wear if it were real. But you don't have one... and neither do you, Michael."
"Ha! See?" Michael makes a defensive gesture. "It was just a stupid Vegas joke. No rings, no wedding. All good."
James still looks skeptical. "Then why does it smell like you've had a wedding party here?"
Y/N quickly walks to the minibar, pretending to search for water. "This is Vegas, James. Everything smells like a party here."
Michael nods eagerly. "Exactly! Totally normal."
James shakes his head. "You two are weird today. But alright, if you say it was just a joke..." He looks around once more, then shrugs. "I'm going for breakfast. Get ready."
As the door closes behind him, Y/N and Michael exhale at the same time.
"That was close," Y/N whispers.
Michael leans against the wall and smiles crookedly. "We're really terrible liars."
Y/N holds the paper in her hand and looks at it. "We need to hide this better. If he finds it again, we're done for."
Michael nods, takes the document from her, and carefully folds it.
Y/N looks at him. "And… what do we do now? Hide this? Pretend it never happened?"
Michael hesitates, then looks at her directly. "Maybe we should keep it to ourselves for now. Until we know what we really want. Deal?"
Y/N smiles faintly. "Deal."
But as she looks at the drawer where she's hidden the ring, she feels a slight tug in her chest. Maybe she doesn't want to hide all of this. But admitting it would take more courage than she has right now.

A Magical Christmas

The snow falls gently outside the window, covering the earth with a white blanket as the sparkling lights of the Christmas tree bathe the room in a warm glow. Y/N stands by the fireplace, one hand on her growing belly, smiling as she gazes outside. She wears a cozy, long knit dress that accentuates her baby bump.
Erik Lehnsherr quietly approaches from behind, wrapping his arms around her and placing his hands over hers. “You look beautiful,” he murmurs into her ear, pressing a tender kiss to her neck.
Y/N smiles and leans back against him. “You say that every time.”
“Because it’s true every time,” Erik replies, gently turning her to face him, his eyes filled with warmth. “You know, I never thought I’d have something like this.”
“A fiancée? A baby?” Y/N teases, running her hand along his cheek. “Or Christmas?”
“All of it,” Erik admits, lowering his gaze for a moment before looking back at her. “My life has been filled with so much pain and loss for so long. But now… You give me hope, Y/N. You and our child.”
She takes his hand and places it back on her belly. “We’re a family, Erik. And this is just the beginning.”
Erik pulls her closer, resting his forehead against hers. “I promise you, I will always protect both of you.”
A gentle kick interrupts the moment, and Y/N laughs in surprise. “It seems our little one agrees with you.”
Erik chuckles softly, a rare and precious joy lighting up his face. “Our child is a fighter, just like their mother.”
Y/N runs her fingers tenderly along his neck, gazing deeply into his eyes. “You’re going to be a wonderful father, Erik.”
Erik shakes his head, his expression earnest. “I hope so. But one thing I know for sure: I’ll always be here for you, Y/N. For you and our child.”
She smiles, and Erik leans in to kiss her softly. The kiss is gentle, filled with love and hope, and for a moment, the world around them seems to stand still.
When they pull apart, Erik leads her to the sofa, where a soft blanket awaits. He lights a few candles, their glow making the room even cozier. They snuggle together, Y/N’s head resting on his shoulder, his hand on her belly.
“Merry Christmas, Y/N,” Erik whispers, pressing another kiss to her forehead.
“Merry Christmas, Erik,” she replies, her eyes shining with happiness. “And to a new year full of love—with our little family.”
Outside, the snow continues to dance, while inside, the warmth of their love lights up everything around them.

Christmas Magic

The warm colors of the Christmas tree glow softly in the light of the living room, while the scent of freshly baked cookies fills the air. Y/N sits on the couch, her hand resting gently on her baby bump, a smile gracing her lips.
Charles emerges from the kitchen, carrying a tray with steaming cocoa and a bowl of cookies. He’s wearing a thick sweater, and his blue eyes shine with joy as he looks at Y/N. “I hope you’ve saved room for some cookies. I made them using your recipe.”
Y/N chuckles softly. “You know I always have room for cookies, especially now.”
Charles sets the tray on the coffee table and sits beside her. “Good to know, because I might have gone a little overboard.” He takes her hand and kisses it gently. “How are you feeling, my love?”
“Tired, but happy,” Y/N replies, leaning against his shoulder. “The baby’s been very active lately. Maybe they’re just as excited about Christmas as we are.”
Charles carefully places his hand on her belly. “I think our little one knows how loved they are.” A smile spreads across his face as he feels a gentle kick. “There it is again.”
“They seem to like your cocoa and cookies,” Y/N says, laughing. “Or maybe they’re just happy you’re here.”
Charles wraps an arm around her, pulling her closer. “I could never have imagined a better life. Having you by my side and soon our child… it’s more than I ever dared to dream.”
Y/N looks up at him, her eyes filled with love. “You’re the reason I feel so safe and secure, Charles. Everything feels right with you.”
For a moment, a peaceful silence settles over them, broken only by the crackling of the fireplace. Charles eventually speaks, his voice warm and tender. “You know, I often think about what kind of father I’ll be. I just hope I can give this little one as much love and support as you give me every day.”
“You’re going to be a wonderful father,” Y/N says confidently. “You’re patient, compassionate, and incredibly wise. Our child is lucky to have you as their dad.”
Charles smiles and leans forward to kiss her gently. “And I’m lucky to have you by my side.”
Suddenly, Y/N jumps up as quickly as her condition allows. “The presents! I still need to put them under the tree.”
Charles laughs softly and gets up to help. “Stay seated. I’ll take care of it for you.”
He disappears briefly and returns with a handful of lovingly wrapped gifts, which he carefully places under the tree. Sitting back down next to Y/N, he pulls her onto his lap, his arms securely wrapped around her.
“Merry Christmas, Y/N,” he whispers.
“Merry Christmas, Charles,” she replies, resting her forehead against his. “I couldn’t be happier.”
Outside, gentle snow falls as the warmth of the moment fills the room. It’s a Christmas filled with love, hope, and the promise of a beautiful future.

Y/N, Michael, and James are sitting in a smaller seminar room. Today's topic: the analysis of modern forms of poetry. The lecturer, an enthusiastic man in his thirties, seems full of energy as he writes a poem on the board.
Y/N tries to focus on her notes, but the dynamic between Michael and James distracts her – as always. Michael is sitting to her left, doodling small, disconnected sketches in his notebook. James, to the right of Michael, has decided to get creatively involved.
“Mikey, I bet you can't write a single poetic sentence,” James whispers while the lecturer has his back to the class.
Michael raises an eyebrow. “Bet lost. Give me five seconds.”
He scribbles something in his notebook and slides it over to James. Y/N, curious, leans forward to read along.
Michael: "Love is like a cappuccino – warm, sweet, and wakes you up, except for James, who stays an idiot."
Y/N quickly covers her mouth to keep from laughing out loud. James stares at the note and raises his eyebrows in mock outrage.
“That was offensive and totally unpoetic,” he whispers back.
“I think it's creative,” Y/N murmurs, grinning.
James rolls his eyes and vows to get revenge.
---
“Mr. McAvoy?” The lecturer suddenly turns around and fixes his gaze on James, who still holds the notepad in his hand.
James lifts his head as though he has just revealed a state secret. “Uh, yes?”
“Would you like to share the poem you’re studying so intently with the class?”
Michael grins broadly and whispers to Y/N: “This is going to be interesting.”
James nods gravely. “Of course, Sir. It’s... a spontaneous idea from Mr. Fassbender.”
Michael turns sharply to him. “Wait a minute—”
But it’s too late. James stands up, holds the notebook up high, and reads with exaggerated drama:
“Love is like a cappuccino – warm, sweet, and wakes you up, except for James, who stays an idiot.”
The class bursts into laughter while Michael buries his face in his hands. Y/N can hardly contain her laughter.
“That’s... interesting,” says the lecturer, who has to smile as well. “Perhaps try to direct your creative efforts toward the topic of the hour, Mr. McAvoy, Mr. Fassbender.”
“Of course, Sir,” mutters Michael, while James triumphantly sits back down.
---
“You’re such a traitor,” Michael says to James as they leave the seminar.
“Hey, you’re the one who called me an idiot,” James grins in reply.
“It was a masterpiece,” Y/N interjects. “You should be proud of it, Mikey.”
“Oh, I’m sure our lecturer thinks I’m a real poet now,” Michael mutters sarcastically.
Y/N slips an arm around his. “Don’t worry. You’re my favorite poet.”
“Well, great,” Michael says, but can’t help but smile.
---
In the evening, the three of them sit together in the university library – a rare sight, as Michael and James usually avoid places like this. But today, they are actually working on an assignment.
Y/N quietly reads a book while Michael sits next to her, reluctantly taking notes. James doodles on a piece of paper, and Y/N knows it’s nonsense again.
“You know,” James suddenly says, “you’re pretty boring when you’re actually working, Michael.”
Michael looks up from his notes. “And youre pretty annoying when you have nothing to do.”
“That’s called balance,” James murmurs with a grin.
Y/N shakes her head and laughs quietly. Amidst the chaos and jokes, she feels completely happy. With Michael by her side and James as the perfect touch of chaos, she knows these are the moments she cherishes most.

A Christmas Chaos
X Men Masterlist
X Men Masterlist 2

The Xavier Estate is festively decorated: a massive tree in the hall, string lights on the walls, and a cozy fire crackling in the living room fireplace. Y/N sits relaxed on the sofa, Charles reads a book beside her, and Erik lounges in an armchair with a glass of wine.
The twins, Henry and William, have been unusually quiet since dinner. Henry, with his thoughtful expression, always seems as serious as Charles, while William, with his mischievous smile and wild hair, is unmistakably Erik’s mini-me.
"Mama, Papa, Daddy," Henry says suddenly. "Can we go to bed now? We’re tired."
Y/N furrows her brow. "You want to go to bed voluntarily?"
Charles looks equally skeptical. "That’s unusual."
"We just want to make sure Santa Claus comes," William explains eagerly.
Erik raises an eyebrow, exchanging a knowing glance with Y/N and Charles but saying nothing. "Alright," he finally says. "Off to bed, you two. And don’t forget—Santa only comes if you’re asleep."
The boys nod enthusiastically, disappearing toward the stairs—but instead of heading to their room, they wait until their parents are out of sight and sneak back into the living room.
---
"Okay, Henry," William whispers, pulling a bag of supplies from under the sofa. "Santa comes down the chimney, right?"
"Exactly," Henry replies, pointing to the space in front of the fireplace. "We’ll hang the net up there, and when he comes down, the string will trigger the trap. The net will fall, and—bam!—we’ve got him."
They work quietly to set up their trap. They attach a large net to the ceiling, run a thin string around the fireplace, and rig it so that it triggers when someone steps on the plate of cookies they’ve strategically placed.
"Perfect," Henry whispers. "Now let’s get to bed before they catch us."
The two sneak back upstairs, collapsing into bed, tired but satisfied.
---
A few hours later, after Y/N has gone to bed, Charles and Erik return to the living room to enjoy the evening’s quiet. Charles resumes his spot on the sofa, while Erik pours himself another glass of wine.
"The boys were unusually cooperative tonight," Charles remarks, setting his book aside.
"Too cooperative," Erik mutters as he lingers by the fireplace. "That’s never a good sign."
Charles chuckles. "Maybe we should just be glad they were so peaceful."
Erik nods but then notices the plate of cookies by the fireplace. "Did you put those there?"
Charles shakes his head. "No. Maybe Y/N did."
"Or the boys," Erik murmurs, stepping closer to inspect the cookies. Charles joins him, curious.
As both lean in, Erik steps on the string.
"Erik, wait—" Charles shouts, but it’s too late.
The net drops from the ceiling with a loud rustle, trapping both men. A small canister of confetti, rigged to the net, bursts open and showers them in colorful bits of paper.
"What the—?!" Erik exclaims, struggling to free himself from the net.
Charles, calm as ever, glances at his partner. "I’m guessing this wasn’t Y/N’s doing."
---
The loud commotion wakes Y/N, who groggily makes her way to the living room. She stops in her tracks when she sees the scene—Erik and Charles tangled in a net, covered in colorful confetti.
For a moment, there’s silence.
Then Y/N bursts into laughter. She clutches her stomach, tears streaming down her face. "This… is the best thing I’ve ever seen!"
Erik shoots her an exasperated look. "You could at least help us instead of laughing."
"Oh, no," Y/N gasps between laughs. "I need to savor this first."
Charles, still entangled, smirks faintly. "I assume the boys had something to do with this… surprise."
"Most definitely," Y/N says, still giggling as she finally steps in to help.
---
Christmas Morning
The next morning, Henry and William race downstairs, excitement bubbling. Their enthusiasm halts when they see their parents on the sofa. Charles and Erik sit calmly, sipping tea, with knowing looks on their faces.
"Good morning," Charles greets.
"Uh… good morning," the boys mumble, avoiding eye contact.
"So," Erik begins, "do you two happen to know anything about the net that trapped us last night?"
Henry tries to come up with an excuse, but William blurts out, "We wanted to catch Santa! Not you!"
Y/N can’t contain her laughter as she pulls the boys into a hug. "You two are impossible. But thank you for the best Christmas surprise ever."
Charles smiles, sipping his tea. "This will be a Christmas to remember."
Erik nods in agreement. "Next year, we’ll catch Santa. Without falling into the trap ourselves."
The boys beam, diving into their presents while Y/N, Charles, and Erik watch them lovingly—a family brought together by the chaos and joy of the holiday season.
