It’s Tuesday, 26 July 2022, and Catherine might be playing Donna Noble for the last time. Oh, and she’s on the new TARDIS set. NO SPOILERS! We’re telling you nothing. AVERT YOUR EYES!!

During a break in filming, I catch up with Catherine in the Make-Up tent next to the TARDIS, on Wolf Studios’ Stage 6. David is here too. “Don’t mind me,” he says, whipping out his phone. “I’m just gonna sit here on Wordle.”

Wordle isn’t really Catherine’s thing. Neither is sci-fi (this is the woman who, famously, thought the Sontarans weren’t played by actors but “ran on electricity”) – “I feel my comprehension is a bit too lowbrow for sci-fi. It just baffles me,” she told The One Show in June – so dare I ask: what does she make of this shiny new TARDIS control room? “Oh! It’s fantastic,” she beams. “It’s impressive in its vastness.

“I realised, when I walked onto it yesterday, I’d not seen it. We kept walking past it [while it was being constructed] and I’ve been peeking in, but it all seemed to come together very, very quickly. For ages, it was just this shell, this massive shell, and then when we stepped on yesterday… it’s something else. I’m going to say… splendid. I’m going to say luminous.”

“Ooh, that’s good,” says David.

“Mm, I’m going to say that, then.”

“The luminousness really elevates it,” he says. “They switch on the lights and it… glows. Oh! GLOWS.” Well, that’s his first Wordle attempt sorted.

I have devastating news. I’m Musab Ahmed, and for no clear reason, GoFundMe disabled the contact that was responsible for receiving and transferring the funds from my campaign to me, starting April 21st, 2025. Even though I had raised 24% of my goal, I was unable to access any of the money I worked so hard to collect. We tried reaching out to them multiple times, but they haven’t responded, and now I’ve been forced to start over from scratch.

I’m not exaggerating when I say I nearly had a heart attack from the shock and stress — especially after all the hope and effort I poured into that campaign.

My friend @aligaza4 is going through terrible torture in Gaza with their family, neighbours and friends. They have two children, a wonderful daughter and a son who is very sick. With the rising cost of necessities in the Strip, they are struggling to get the medicine he needs, along with trying to keep money together to be able to evacuate when possible. Imagine needing to spend money that might save your family in the long-term on saving your son immediately?

The people of Gaza are being slaughtered. With a little money, you can materially support suffering people and help them stay afloat in the hell they're being put through. I've donated already, but I hope with this post someone might be inspired to give as well. If you are unable to donate, please share this post so others can see, and we can help my friend in their time of need.

That is a message from @rima-44 who is from Gaza, asking for help. And she is right, we as human beings must be compassionate and rise up and speak about against genocide and terror, but where is everyone? If a litteral genocide isn't enough to make you say something, I fear to imagine what will. I feel as if animals are have more compassion then humans, people are shown being burned alive in front of you. Children being shot in the brain, corpses living the streets. All for you to see, infront of you. And yet you still say nothing, where has our humanity gone?

It is so easy to help - now more than ever. All you need to do is click on a fundraiser, and spend only a minute to donate. If you have money to spend at a coffee shop - you have money to help. Please do not be selfish. No excuses, I'm tired of people refusing to donate when they can - their lives are worth more than a few dollars.

Gaza is currently experiencing one of the most severe humanitarian crises in its history. The Israeli blockade, which has been in place for more than seven weeks, has completely halted the entry of humanitarian aid, causing severe shortages of food, fuel, and medical supplies.

It is estimated that more than 1.8 million people are affected by the hunger crisis, with children particularly at risk of malnutrition.

The ongoing bombing has destroyed vital infrastructure, including hospitals, making access to healthcare nearly impossible. Over 90% of the population has been displaced from their homes and now lives in overcrowded areas lacking basic necessities.

Under these harsh conditions, residents live in fear and despair, with some describing the situation as a "slow death" from hunger and thirst. Despite international appeals, humanitarian access remains blocked, further exacerbating the crisis.

I'm So Tired And Devastated.

My GoFundMe campaign was deleted yesterday. I had raised €10,037 through it. I'm so tired now because the money for my treatment was transferred from my account to its owners. I contacted GoFundMe technical support. I don't know why this happened to me. The text message about my campaign being deleted told me that donations would be returned to their owners within 3 to 7 business days (meaning everyone who donated to me would get their money within 3 to 7 days). I've created a new fundraising campaign. I hope you share this post so everyone can help me. Please ��😭
