Kid’s Great Mind

“Hmm, how hard God’s job. He has to design the world with all things. He has to draw and put it. It’s hard for to make ‘Save the earth’ card, I have to draw earth, cut, and stick it. You know, can you imahine if God do something wrong when he design and cut. Maybe, there is people who don’t have leg because of that.” Michael, my 10 years old student said. “Yes, mm….” I answered. I still admired of him during the class. We made card of Save The Earth today and so many idea that he told me. It’s hard to make him make smiling earth because he think it’s too late to make earth smile. The earth almost explode about 500 years later. But finally, he made it and he felt fun. And then I said “See, is it fun? Making earth that you’re dreaming of.” Sharing with him was fun. We just shared about the earth, monsters, leprechaun, st patrick’s day, symbols. He knew everything more than me. I know now that children’s mind isn’t made from their age but their environment.

Everyone is superhero

The important part of being superhero is: 1. The mind is always thinking. A superhero is always thinking how to solve a problem, how to make every people happy, and how to tell wrong things in a good way. It’s simple things that can be done by every people. 2. The eyes are always looking at the speaker. It means, a superhero always pay attention speaker who is talking. Superhero is notice, listen, and always care, even if a little girl as a speaker. 3. The ears are always listening to the speaker. A superhero is always listen if someone needs help or if someone one to tell a story. Every people loves if they’re listen, even if you can’t help anything at leasy you can listen. 4. The mouth is ready to say kind words. A superhero doesn’t talk by emotion. He thinks before he speaks. He knows that he is a role model, so his attitude, include his words must be good. 5. The hands are waiting to go in the air to ask or answer question. A superhero has to ask about something wrong, maybe about a wrong policy. A superhero has to ready to answer question about everything. He must have many knowledge. Based on knowledge, he can fight his enemies without violence. 6.The feet are still on the ground. No matter how wonderful is he, no matter how strong is he, a superhero never forgets to stay on the ground. That’s the easy ways of being superhero. Superhero doesn’t always need lasser power or shopisticated car. Superhero doesn’t need a mask or a cloak to fly. Superhero needs good personality. A superhero always makes people around him happy and feel safe. Simple.

Beautiful poem

A delightful poem about marriage shared by Mufti Ismail Menk.👪 "Marriage is a school where you get the certificate before you start. A school where you will never graduate.🔖 A school without a break or a free period. A school where no one is allowed to drop out.📌 A school which you will have to attend every day of your life.⌛ A school where there is no sick leave or holidays. A school founded by the Almighty: 1.On the foundation of love, 2.The walls made of trust, 3.The door made of acceptance, 4.The windows made of understanding. 5.The furniture made of blessings. 6.The roof made of faith. Before you forget, you are just a student not the principal. The Almighty is the principal. Even at times of a storm, don't be unwise and run outside. Remember this school is the safest place to be. Never go to sleep before completing your assignments for the day. Never forget the C-word, communicate, communicate, communicate with your classmate and with the Principal. If you find something in your classmate (spouse) that you do not appreciate, remember your classmate is also just a student not a graduate. The Almighty is not finished with him/her yet, so take it as a challenge and work on it together. Do not forget to study, study, study the Noble Book (the main textbook in this school). Start each day with a sacred assembly and end it the same way. Sometimes you will feel like not attending class, yet you have to. When tempted to quit find the courage and continue. Some tests and exams may be tough but remember the Principal knows how much you can bear. Still, it is one of the best schools on earth; joy, peace and happiness accompany each lesson of the day. Different subjects are offered in this school, yet love is the major subject. 📚 After all the years of being theoretical about it, now you have a chance to practice it. To be loved is a good thing, but to love is the greatest privilege of them all. Marriage is a place of love, so love your spouse but remember: "This class doesn't involve a person who is not permitted into it"! If you invite your mother or father or your friends to this class, or anyone who is not allowed to be there, you will fail the exam. It is you who should attend and it is you who will pass.📜 Its your choice today:" build it or break it."💕

Love your husband when he orders you to make tea or coffee because he wants to feel fresh to listen to your non stop talks.. Love him if he looks at all the beautiful females because he is just checking that you are still the best.. Love him if he criticizes your cooking because he is still improving his taste.. Love him if he snores at night and disturbs your sleep because he is trying to prove that he is the most relaxed person after being married to you.. Love him if he forgets to give you a gift on your birthday because he is saving money for your future. Love him... Because you don't have a choice.

Aku Langsung Bisa

Hari ini ada seorang anak umur 6 tahun yang datang ke studio untuk belajar gambar tentunya. Kemudian dia bilang "Aku mau gambar yang beneran?" Apa maksudnya anak ini. "Iya dong, kamu gambar yang beneran." Kemudian ia tunjuk salah satu lukisan yang dibuat oleh anak usia 13 tahun. "Aku mau gambar yang seperti itu". Kemudian kujawab "Loh, kamu belum bisa gambar langsung seperti itu sayang, harus belajar dulu." Si anak ini masih tetap keras kepala bahwa itulah belajar gambar yang beneran. Kutunjukkan gambar lain untuk anak seusianya, gambar wajah orang yang mata dan hidungnya tidak proporsional dan bibirnya terlalu besar. Ia pun berkomentar "Aku bisa gambar lebih bagus dari itu." Ternyata, sebenarnya ia ingin langsung bisa, menggambar benda atau orang seperti aslinya. Tentu saja aku bilang tidak bisa, sebelum jadi bagus ia harus belajar sedikit demi sedikit. "Coba Miss tanya, apa kamu lahir langsung bisa berjalan, pasti kamu merangkak dulu. "Ngga, aku langsung bisa." "Apa waktu kamu naik sepeda tidak belajar dulu" "Iya, aku langsung bisa." Mamanya ikut membantu meyakinkannya. "Coba waktu kamu menulis dan membaca langsung bisa?" "Iya, aku langsung bisa." Dia benar-benar keras kepala.

Aku tidak tahu pendidikannya di sekolah atau dirumah seperti apa, apakah dia begitu di setiap pelajaran tetapi ada proses yang terlewati. Seorang anak usia 6 tahun ingin sesuatu yang instan, bukan sebuah proses belajar yang dinikmati. Menurut pendapatku dalam sudut pandang seni dan kreatifitas, beberapa hal yang memungkinkan hal itu terjadi antara lain kurangnya pujian terhadap si anak. Ia hanya dipuji jika mampu membuat hasil yang bagus menurut standar guru atau orang tua bukan standar anak usia 6 tahun. Padahal, dalam seni, menggambar dan sebagainya, tidak ada yang salah atau benar, bagus atau jelek. Seorang guru sebaiknya tetap memuji seorang anak apapun hasil karyanya, kemudian guru bisa menambahkan saran 'akan lebih bagus jika...' Anak dengan usia lebih kecil akan kesulitan belajar hanya dengan menangkap kata-kata jadi berikan mereka bukti. Kenapa suatu hal tidak boleh dilakukan atau sebaiknya dilakukan. Tentunya saat guru memberikan contoh juga dengan mempertimbangkan kemampuan anak, jadi ia akan berpendapat 'Guruku gambarnya seperti itu, aku pasti bisa'. Jadi si anak tidak akan berkata 'Aku langsung bisa' tetapi 'Aku pasti bisa'

Germany and I

In one occasion, Sudjiwo Tedjo said "Love is unconditional, illogic, it can't be explained. If you can explain it, it is not love, it is mathematic."

I love German as much as I love Indonesia and Finlandia. I can't explain because this is called love. Ok, no, just kidding. If I'm not explain then the story ends.

German is land of dream for me. That is a place where I save the highest dream. I used want to be an architect since I can draw, when I was in elementary school. But that dream has gone ten years later, I suddenly wanna be a doctor. I had 10 tests in 2 years only to be a student of medical school. And I didn't success at all XD. That day, I was dissapointed, but today I am laughing of what I did and admire myself. Wow, how wonderful I am, a hard worker but failed. At the end, I got in to architecture department, my first goal, my childhood ambition. I fell in love with architecture and Germany, where the best architects come from. I'm a fans of formula one (F1) and football so I love to see stadiums and race circuits. Both have magnificent design, they have wonderful technology. A Germany architect, Hermann Tilke is my favourite. He design almost every F1 circuit. That's why I love German. German produce best architects. Time goes and now I know that it has good education, in every sector. Education is my field today, so I respect of what German have. 

I hope that I can take my master degree there. Because now, I love Germany more, their aggressive language, culture, beautiful view, old building and modern building, wonderful stadium, cool circuit, clever people, except their beer of course. Now I'm on my way to chase my dream. Study German language, be friend with Germans. Till today, I don't know, It will come true or not. But I'll never stop. My love is unconditional.
