OK now that I got the Artbook I got a good look at the family tree mural and you know what I see?

They tried to scrape my man Bruno off the family tree. And you see what branch he is? None. Because he is the tree trunk! You erase the trunk and the tree is no more! Branches can't survive without the trunk.

This family was doomed the moment they tried to scrape him off that mural in their own home.

"Embroidery direction" are you kidding me. Also all the cultural references in this movie. Love.

I had to draw younger Bruno with his sobrinas and Camilo. ✨💕

I like to think that Bruno was amazing with the kids and they absolutely loved him. Of course Mirabel and Camilo didn't remember much about him besides the negative stuff, but I love how Isabela, Luisa and Dolores never bad-mouthed him in the movie.. so that leads me to believe that they were all besties :')

My favorite things about Dolores’s character:

The fact that she’s very soft spoken and is constantly whispering because she has enhanced hearing

She covers her ears before the fireworks go off at Antonio’s gift ceremony

Her saying that the only ones worried about the magic was the “rats in the wall,” which she knew was true because she could HEAR BRUNO’S RATS

The fact that she knew Bruno was still there because she could hear him but kept his secret

And the fact that her description of Bruno was the most truthful and accurate
