No because-
What if you could just record silence and then play it on loudspeakers on full blast to make the whole room quiet.

Before I start:
XXC= Xiao Xingchen
XY= Xue Yang
AQ= A-Qing
SL= Song Lan
WWX = Wei Ying
LWJ = Lan Zhan
*TW: mentions of suicide, manipulation, and death as well as CQL spoilers*
I feel like the Yi Cheng group were a reflection of what could’ve happened if WWX lost control. SL was LWJ- the outside factor who loved WWX but couldn’t do much besides watch WWX pick himself up and support him. LWJ was a prominent factor in the overall plot as well as WWX’s life, yes, but he was pretty helpless during WWX’s internal crisis. In the Yi Cheng group, XXC was WWX. XY was the inner demonic voice, urging him to commit unforgivable crimes and deeds. AQ, on the other hand, was the more logical, sensible voice inside him. She recognized that something was wrong. Here’s where the story takes a bit of a curve. AQ didn’t do much to prevent XXC’s death. She knew, yes, that XY was not who he said he was, but she also didn’t know his real identity. She couldn’t have stopped him. When Shuanghua leads XXC to kill the villagers, this is when XY (demon voice) completely takes over and drives XXC to end his life. When XXC dies, it’s like the mirror of WWX’s death. They both chose their own ends. The only difference was that WWX came back, while XXC didn’t.
