I'm reminded of this truth about smart kids:
Their intelligence inspires adults to imagine they are mature.  But emotionally, they are no more advanced than average kids their age.  They are still children, through and through.
It is easy to forget this.

I feel like the scriptwriter of my dream has awoken me just as it ran out of material. "Stop the movie! I've not nuthin'."

When someone is suffering and you respond "May my god bless you", what i hear is "I won't do anything about this, it's not my problem, i shall carry on just as i was".  Which may well be true; but that's a truth you might better keep to yourself, while your friend struggles.

I always take some pleasure picturing one or another (and another, and another) crusader knight in the souk in Jerusalem, his eyes lighting up when a peddler asks "Hey bub, what would you give me for this fragment of The True Cross?"
I pray you are having a good Friday.

This is my favorite little patch of ramps, which i've cultivated from the couple plants i stumbled upon five years ago.

These are the Bluebell Resistance. Every April they rise up through the roots of this hydrangea.  This month, more of them than ever.

I let go of any expectations (or wish) of feeling a part of mainstream society by roughly the age of eleven (5th grade). That's when i began understanding myself as a unique individual and actively looking out for the like-minded, discovering that open minds are (relatively) more common among the outcasts and misfits.

In my waking dream, i cautiously taxi a small plane along the short runway, at the end of which i manage a u-turn without stopping. Here i commit by revving the engine loudly, focus on the airfield ahead, and soon pull back on the stick, rising into the air. I have never flown before, have no idea how or where i expect to land, and have yet to find the compass.

Right now, i'm fingers-crossed and on to Plan-C. Whatever Plan-C is.
This is my plan and i'm sticking to it.

Winter - stages of grief
1) hell, it's dark already
2) and it's fucking cold
3) yep, this shit is Winter
4) i think i'll take another nap
5) go me, today i accomplished a thing
6) hey look, it's light a little longer
7) maybe we'll get through this
8) what do you mean there's 9 more weeks of all this?
9) it's still fucking cold
10) everything is gray
11) what's that tiny green thing?
12) maybe i'll go for a walk
Then comes early Spring.
