BESTIES!!!! I heard you guys ask why Dean keeps referring to the angels as "junkless." I'm pretty sure it's a reference to the movie "Dogma" by Kevin Smith. You can really see its influences over the script, same as the Cohen Brother's movie "O Brother Where Art Thou" which uses the song "Ph Death." The second movie also references cross roads demons and their involvement in the Blues scene.

Dogma used to be very hard to find because of the production company. If you can find it I really recommend watching it.

so i'm currently making a Destiel Moments powerpoint for a friend (pray for me) and was looking at dean's relationship page on the wiki to compare how many female love interests he has to sam and ???

they put his car as a love interest??? el oh el.

(btw sam has 15 people listed, dean has 6, which is really funny to me. they stopped giving him love interests bc his relationship with cas was already filling that role for him. this is ridiculous)

i did some more impala research. deans impala is from the 4th generation (1965-70), the 1967 version specifically has no big changes from the rest of those apart from apparently being the first model that included shoulder belts lmao

all 4th generation impalas were available with manual or automatic transmission however the automatic models were more expensive as it was an add-on!

so yes in theory dean could be driving an automatic car the whole show HOWEVER no he is not. in my heart i know thats a stick shift. i dont even like driving & ive never driven an automatic car in my life, i refuse to believe that dean is. i dont trust automatic cars, i dont like the idea that my car has more control than i do and i KNOW dean feels the same he told me himself <3
