Hey there everyone! Welcome to Blorbos From My Dash [UWU]. We're an NA based but open to EU members as well, and and we're a chill guild focusing on vibes, talking about lore and characters and ocs, running in-game content with each other (from raids to fractals to strikes to dungeons), hanging out, and sometimes hosting small events! While we largely started from a Tumblr oc focused Disco server, all of us originated on Tumblr and it is open to anyone ON Tumblr.

We have a guild hall we're working on getting more upgrades for (Windswept Haven), and generally focus on a chill, calm kind of vibe for all our involved players.

Rules are pretty simple:

Be chill with each other. If you have an issue with another player, if it's not dangerous, block them. You can be in the guild while blocking others.

There's no pressure to represent or participate in events or content, but you're always welcome to.

Be gentle with guildies. We're all at different levels of skill, even those of us who've been playing a long time.

All in all, just enjoy the vibes, enjoy having the cursed tag, and have fun!

These are subject to change as needed but I don't expect it to often.

Just a quick thing because HoT has been on my mind a lot recently and is such a wonderful expansion. The zones, the ambience, the storytelling, it's all so good.

I wasn't planning on doing a photoshoot, but I took this gem during leveling up my key farm character and I had to share it. She's about to casually throw a mist grenade at another legion buddy, just to see what happens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Side note; she's about to become a permanent character. I love her sooo much just look at that face! (♡ヮ♡)

Hello this is Sheep the Herder who works with Dolyak and gets trampled about 2 times a month. Usually takes care of the younger ones, mostly because his Norn mother told him too.

Still trying to match different skins, but then I see all the fur on these, and I'm just soooo weak for that.

Maybe someday I will take a photoshoot with him and get some good screenshots with him and his Dolyak!

A little Before and After

A milestone post to which I was looking forward too ever since I started! I now have four edits done and I really enjoy doing them. Here are the before and after for the four images already online. Let's start with my favorite boy!

Jojo

My first edit, the one that started my new hyperfixation. On the picture as actually the tree that gave birth to him (wow, this is so weird to say honestly). During the first months in the Maguuma Jungle he found out he had an unhealthy relationship towards Mordrem, which made him question the reason why he was on Tyria in the first place. Why he was allowed to be here still.

I mostly just changed the lightning and added a shadow underneath the tree and underneath Jojo. I also added some lightning on him because he deserves it.

Thravi

I probably took the longest time thus far with an edit. I removed some of the lights near her left arm, and also toned down some of the green. I darkened the area near her hand to enhance the glow showing around it. She is also opening portals to literal hell, so... I could've gone harder on the dark thing!

I also heightened some of the glow on her leaves. Loving the fact that even though she is now corrupted by the Kryptis, during the nights there is a hint of what she was (vibrant blue with hints of green).

Altrados

This is one where I maybe went harder than I should, but it is closer to her backstory than the original somehow. The first backstory I wrote for her was one where the tattoos would turn into literal fragments of the night sky, and she would grow in size. In that form, she could actually let the tattoo take her over and Altrados would change into an avatar of the night sky (much like the druid. Guess what build she still has to this day!). Letting her wield Astralaria is just... /cheffskiss. Love.

Dallas

I think this one hit me different. Dallas is the one character that changed the most. I used the most kits on her out of all my characters! And after every kit, she looked more like me.

Her backstory also changed a lot, and for some quests I found myself in the library more and more. But I just went through those quest bits mindlessly clicking through the pages. Why? I'm hella dyslectic! And so Dallas wasn't actually reading the books as well. She would literally grab the book, go to the person giving her the quest and throwing the book down at the desk like "here, read yourself.".

Dallas hates libraries, hates books, hates reading... She is dyslectic and has a hard time being a good firebrand, because she is almost afraid of summoning the book and using the spells. She had several occasions where her spell went wild, because she misspronounced it or read it wrong (mostly out of nerves).

She's totally based on me, and this is totally our mood when reading. I wish it were easy, but it just isn't... It sucks to be an adult and not being able to read as well, but hey, it be like that.

This Eternal Battleground is perfect for my friends! Let's let them in...

Thravi, my little veggie who is corrupted by the Kryptis... But not against her will.

When she was assigned to be the Wayfinder Thravi was against the idea and wanted to back out, but pressure and promisses from her former crew kept her going. The hurt and trauma from events past were to too much, and she soon decided that she no longer wanted to continue her journey on Tyria. Instead of entering the dream forever a voice in her head encouraged her to find reason somewhere else, somewhere in Nayos. Later during a fight against the Kryptis she let the voice lead her into the portal, where Peitha was waiting to lead her to her new people.

Thravi is a Mesmes and with her portal magic she can invest portals all over Tyria. She just needs to find a portal (usualy Asuran portals, because they are just there) and she corrupts them for a short amount of time to let them lead to Nayos. Within Nayos, she can open portals back to Tyria. She can however not open portals in Nayos leading to a different location in Nayos. In Tyria she is unable to open a portal at all.

🌠 Finally got my first ever character on Guild Wars Astralaria 🌠 Holding the axes actually hurt a lot. Her arms will be in limbo; they are somewhere inbetween where she is and Istan, drawing energy from the starry skies above the Astralarium. The closer she is to the observatory, the less it hurts and the less her arms seem to dissepear and make place for Astralaria's energy.

She worked hard to get the weapons and even turned away from their fight against the elder dragons once in a while to focus fully on the legendary axes. Now that she has them, she doesn't feel accomplished at all. It hurts to hold them, she hardly uses them in a fight, and she feels like she lost more people during the time of creation because she wasn't always there to fight alongside them.

she actually hates Astralaria... But she loves the power it gives her.

It took me a while, but I finally managed to get Altrados Astralaria last Christmas! AAAAAAAAAH Honestly didn't think I would ever manage, as I've been working on it on and off since 2015... BUT I DID T-T ///screams in poor
