Here I go off onto my little rant on my iPhone about the company Little Black Bag. Ordered this bag on Friday. I came home happy to see a package from them today. I opened up my package to find out that my bag doesn’t have the strap. What the hell!?!!!! Can you please check every order to see if ALL the bag is in each box!? So I called up little black bag and complained. She asks me to check inside the zipper of the bag… Why would I call if I haven’t checked inside and out of the bag?! I unraveled all of the wrapping paper to check too. She says the thing is something about their provider won’t have that extra part… So what the hell yo? She asks if I want to exchange it for the same item. Why can’t you just ship the stupid strap off of a different bag so you could mark it as a loss on the other bag!? I said okay I will just return it. And she asks me when I receive the shipping label to write exchange on it. I am so confused. I been having an error every single time with this company. I really think this is the last straw. Customer service isn’t that willing to do anything for you and isn’t sorrowful if that something stupid happened to your order and blame it on someone else. Customer service I received today and in the past were not amazing. www.littleblackbag.com

Bulu Box + Weight Loss Box May 2013
Bulu Box is the first sample service box to send out fitness related samples. Each box is $10 each. There is a regular box, and there is a weight loss box.
The weight loss box gives you information about each product about how to lose weight. The regular box gives an overall wellness samples and tips about being healthy and exercise.
Here is the regular Bulu Box for this month:
Tumblr media
This box was pretty mediocre. Some of these products were recommended by a few fitness gurus. Not really interested in any of these products, but probably that rice krispy look-alike.
Fit 'n Crisp by Promax: This rice crispy is only 140 calories and has 13 grams of protein. It also has 0 artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup. Can't wait to try this! Sample Value: $1.69
Plantiva AllerDX: This product is suppose to boost your immune systems' tolerance to the environment. Meaning it will decrease allergies, while strengthening the kidney and calming over-active liver function. Suppose to work in minutes. How interesting! Sample Value: $1.46
Fitmixer Amino: This product is suppose to give your muscles more fuel to burn longer by increasing nitric oxide production. It reduces fatigue and improves muscle recovery. Sample Value: ~$0.77
Beauty Bursts: These fruit gushers is suppose to promote healthier skin, nails and hair. Interestingly it has collagen, hyaluronia acid, and vitamin C. Sample Value: $0.53
Artisana Superfood Nut Butter: I got the berry cashew butter flavor. This suppose to suppress hunger and makes you feel full longer. I am not very fond of these but I will give it a true. I wonder how it will taste like... Sample Value: $1.75
Total Value: $6.20
THUMBS DOWN.
This was quite depressing until I opened the weight loss box.
Here is the Weight Loss Bulu Box for this month:
Tumblr media
This came with tips on how to lose weight. Like eating breakfast, drinking a lot of water, sleeping on time, ect.
The Thin Pill: Full sized product! Finally. I been taking these pills for awhile and I feel like it hasn't helped me lose weight, but it did suppress my appetite. Maybe I have been eating badly lately... so this product does work!  Sample Value: $29.95
Fit 'n Crisp by Promax: Same as the regular box! Sample Value: $1.69
Fitmixer Amino: Same as the regular box again. Sample Value: ~$0.77
JCORE Zero Lite: Initially thought this was a protein drink. More like a gatorade, this is made with teavigo green tea which boosts metabolism and break downs fat while supporting cardiovascular health and increasing antioxidant activity. Sample Value: $0.44
NeoCell Beauty Builder: Same people that made the beauty bursts, this one is more of a tablet form of the same qualities. Really hope I see something out of this sample. Sample Value: $0.50
$5 Giftcard to http://www.gym-pact.com/
Total Value: $38.35
The Verdict: B again
I am happy with the weightloss box only this time! A full sized product that I am actually interested in. Very disappointing products with the regular bulu box because for 2 reasons: 1. Not worth 10 dollars. 2, I wasn't really interested in anything except the fit crisp. Ah well, there is always next month!
I love Bulu Box and how they give you basically a dollar for reviewing all the samples they send to you. I am basically getting 10 dollars back so I could buy the full sized products. :)

I will send loads of good karma your way. :)

Popsugar Must have box
Right when I was just about to cancel my subscription. This box pretty amazed me.
Fashion:
Kooringal Giselle Mid Brim Hat ($28) – This hat is awesome! I never had a sun hat before and I always was thinking about picking one up. Now that I got it in my box I am so glad I do not have to go shopping for one. Perfect for the Spring and Summer. It is “crushable and durable” so I could stuff it in a bag without worrying about it getting ruined.
Charm & Chain $30 Gift Card – I checked out the website and they do not have anything that really appeals to me. Their prices range from $20 to $500. Probably will use the giftcard on a $50 brooch for my mom.
The Modern Margarita ($9) – I love margaritas! There are 5 awesome flavors like watermelon, blood orange, and mango. Plus it comes with the rimming crystals! Just got to buy a bottle of tequila.
Questions I Ask When I Want To Talk About Myself Deck ($14) – I really hate The Mindy Project show. I could care less about this. I read some of the cards and it kind of just goes over my head because of my biasness toward that show. The blurbs are not funny, and this isn't something I will pop out at parties.
The Orginal BeautyBlender and BlenderCleanser ($25) - I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! I been wanting to buy this at Sephora but I think its like 20 dollars just for the blender. Good thing I held off on purchasing this as well. I am so excited to put on make up using this item.
Pacifica Natural Color Quench Lip Tint ($7) - This is made with essential fatty acids from rich and amazing avocado and coconut oils leaving luscious and healthy lips. It is 100% vegan and gluten free. I was scared putting this on because of its dark tint, but it actually goes on like chapstick with barely adding any color to my lips. I love the smell, and it makes my lips very smooth without being sticky.
Way Better Snacks - Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips ($3) - Gluten-free, non GMO and made with sprouted ingredients for better nutrition and digestion. I would love to purchase more of these because these are very yummy squares not so overwhelming sweet potato.
PopSugar Tote Bag ($2) - Pretty cute! I definitely use a lot of these "eco" bags for groceries and such.
Total: $118
Verdict: A! Last 2 months have been graded a D. What a comeback. I really loved all the items EXCEPT that damn Mindy girl. This box would have been a B if there wasn't a BeautyBlender in it. Just when I was about to cancel, I think this box saved it.
If you sign up using my link I will send you tons of good karma your way. :)

IPSY May 2013 Unboxed and Reviewed
The Box: Glam Bag by Ipsy
One of the best bags so far! I will forever stay with Ipsy.
ZOYA Nail Polish in Piaf ($8): This is a metallic yellow. Pretty much a opaque gold color. I have this nail polish currently on my nails. I applied it last week and it BARELY chipped.
NuMe Finishing Serum ($5): It barely smells like anything but it smells pretty good. The texture is hard to describe. Its like touching a liquid powder. It looks sticky, but it is very light and great for hair. I do like this product a lot since it's texture is unique.
Pacifica Roll-on Perfume in Island Vanilla ($12): This roll-on smells great! It smells exactly like an island vanilla. Almost like a flowery vanilla.
Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss in Pink ($15): I wasn't a fan of their setting spray so I was thinking negatively about this product. But I do like this gloss. It feels super moisturizing on your lips and it does not feel sticky at all. The color is very opaque which is a plus for me. I think I will give their brand a positive outlook now.
yaby Concealer refill in Buff ($5): I am not a fan. It has a magnetic bottom which is a plus. Otherwise, it is too light in color for me.
Urban Decay Moon Dust Eyeshadow in Stargazer ($20): This is a bonus item given to people who have referred 2 people. I am really excited to try out this eyeshadow. I love gold eyeshadow and I feel like I use it often. So to get a gold eyeshadow from Urban Decay is amazing.
Total: $65
Verdict: A! The total of $65 for the price of $10 a month. I really did wish I got the Pacifica Coconut Crushed Pearl body butter instead of their perfume. Otherwise, I love all the products I received. Plus the bag is very cute. I will stay an Ipsy subscriber until I get overloaded on samples.

Peckish is another subscription box service. They are known as “The Netflix for healthy snacks.” It is $14.99 a box. You could choose to have it shipped to you once a week, every other week, or once a month. It comes with 3 full-sized healthy snacks which are nutritionist-approved. Look how big the bags are!
Here are my reviews about the snacks.
Bunny Bag: Carrots, sweet potato, purple sweet potato, taro, and green beans. This reminds me of the last bag I got, Veggie Lover. I did enjoy this but I think I like the Veggie Lover better.
Nutty Party: This by far is my favorite bag from them. Almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, cashews, and pistachios. I want to make my own bigger trail mix bag including only these items. These nuts go really well together.
Tropical Island: Pineapple, organic mango,  and organic coconut. This reminds me of my last bag, mango tango except it has dried pineapple. I enjoyed this bag as well. I never knew I would love dried coconut so much.
Verdict: A!  This is their second A in a row from Peckish. I love Peckish. The snacks are bigger sized, and really tasty. I am considering changing my subscription to once a week instead of once a month. The only thing I do not like about them is their website. There is no way to make an account. To change subscriptions you must send a contact form.

Bulu Box + Weight Loss Box April 2013

The weight loss box gives you information about each product about how to lose weight. The regular box gives an overall wellness samples and tips about being healthy and exercise.
Here is the regular Bulu Box for this month:
Tumblr media
This box came with a few moves and tips how to use the TRX. I found it useful because I like to use the TRX at the gym and I never seen 2 poses before.
CocoaVia Variety Pack: This supports cardiovascular health with dark chocolate. The flavors are sweetened dark chocolate, unsweetened dark chocolate, summer citrus, and cran-raspberry. It has 100mg of potassium and 250mg of cocoa flavanols. The flavanols is proven to demonstrated improvements in endothelial and platelet function, as well as blood pressure. You could mix this packet into milk, yogurt, oatmeal or a protein drink. The sample came with 4 servings. Can't wait to try this! I might buy the full sized product. Sample Value: $5.33
EBoost Natural Energy: This is like a Emergen-C. This has no sugar added but it has vitamins that provide a lasting energy and boost for a healthy immune system. Sample Value: $1.28
Real Food Barre: This is a health bar created by two pro dancers that wanted something that sustained their energy through all the recitals. Real Barre is made with all natural ingredients and no additives. The flavor is black swan chocolate berry. Made with dates, agave nectar, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seed butter (sunflower kernels, sunflower oil, molasses, salt, citric acid), cranberries, cocoa powder, hemp seed, hemp protein, oats, ground flax seed, brown rice protein, sea salt, peanuts. Very awesome. Can't wait to try this one. Sample Value: $2.50
Neo-Chill: This product is suppose to make you focused and relax which promotes less stress and calmness. It has L-Theanine to stimulate alpha waves in the brain feeling chill but alert. I wonder how this is going to happen. Sample Value: $1.77
Barlean's Omega Swirl Key Lime Fish Oil: Got this in a previous box and I am not still sure how to use fish oil that is flavored. Maybe in one of my shakes? But this is suppose to increase metabolism and contribute to weight loss by helping your body convert fat into energy. $15.95 for 8oz. Sample Value: $0.34
XyloBurst Gum - Blister Pack: I enjoyed this product from a previous box and I am glad I received another one. Green tea flavor was great. Now I received fruit. It tastes mediocre but got to appreciate its all natural gum. It is suppose to help control cravings, manage hunger and promote weight loss. $8.99 for 100 pieces of gum. Sample Value: $1.08.
Total Value: $12.30
Here is the Weight Loss Bulu Box for this month:
Tumblr media
This came with tips on how to lose weight. Like eating breakfast, drinking a lot of water, sleeping on time, ect.
HIIT DVD: This caught my eye and finally what I been looking for in these boxes. Actual workouts! Chris Freytag instructs this 30min HIIT workout. Can't wait to workout! Sample Value: $3.28
Stivii: This is Stevia which is a sugar replacement. It has a nice case, with a press of a button it dispenses 1 serving. I am not a fan of adding sugar. Probably will gift this. Sample Value: $4.67
ONNIT Shroom Tech Sport: When I read shroom, I thought about the psychodelic mushroom. But apparently it isn't talking about that. This product is suppose to give you clean ATP energy with no jitters or cashes. This is a pre-workout that gets you fired up to burn more calories and shed pounds.  Sample Value: $3.33
Almased: Interesting sample from bulubox. This product is a blend of honey, soy, and yogurt. It is suppose to be a meal replacement that nourishes the body as it stimulates healthy, long-term weight loss. I am not a fan of soy, but I will try it. Sample Value: $1.90
EBoost Natural Energy: This is a repeat from the regular bulu box. Sample Value: $1.28
Real Food Barre: Another repeat from the regular bulu box. I got two bars total! Woo. Sample Value: $2.50
Total Value: $16.96
The Verdict: B
I am happy with these boxes. The weightloss box had higher quality samples but overall I cannot wait to try out everything!
I love Bulu Box and how they give you basically a dollar for reviewing all the samples they send to you. I am basically getting 10 dollars back so I could buy the full sized products. :)

IPSY April 2013 Unboxed and Reviewed
This months theme was “Pretty in Pink.” I am really digging these items. The bag is actually not too tacky this time around and is really cute on the inside.
Be A Bombshell Blush in Beach Please ($16): Full sized product! This blush is VERY pigmented. Very as in VERY VERY pigmented. I love the color because it is so bright. When I actually put it on lightly, it looks like as though I am having an allergic reaction. I know to put on even lighter next time.
MICA Beauty Shimmer Powder in Earth ($15): It is hard to tell, but it is a very light pink when applied with a lot of shimmers in it. It is a very cute highlighter for cheeks.
Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Nourishing Styling Treatment (~$4): This product smells like acetone but so far it seems to make my hair feel healthier. It is made with argan oil which is a big plus! This is great after the beach when your hair gets damaged.
Sation Nail Polish in Love at First Byte ($5): Not a fan of this product. Full sized is a plus. The formula comes out very opaque. Would need a few coats for the color to show. But it does have a nice shine to is.
(Total Value: $40)
Verdit: A! I knew I could rely on Ipsy to try great products. I really liked what was inside this bag! I would definitely use all of these items and perhaps gift the nail polish to a friend.

Musthave.popsugar.com is a monthly subscription service provided by the popsugar editors. For $35 a month you get a whole bunch cool/crappy stuff. They do celebrity and gossip news so their boxes are different from other boxes. They are a lifestyle / fashion / home / fitness / makeup all in one box.
What is in the April 2013 box and my opinion on it.
Tatcha Evening Aburatorigami Blotting Papers ($15): These papers are nothing special except the fact that it is black. The blotting papers are exactly the same as the ones at Daiso for $1.50.
KAI Fragrance Oil ($45): This smells like wilderness and crushed flowers. I don't like the smell. Not a fan of this small fragrance oil.
Alter Ego Dark Quinoa Chocolate Bar ($4): This is very interesting. I love quinoa, and I love chocolate. I assume it will taste almost like a crunch bar.
Popsugar Green Garmento 4-in-1 bag ($10): This bag is as tall as me. I am sorry, but this bag is not for me nor do I find it practical. It is only for people who take their clothes to get dry cleaned or go to the laundry mat. For me I find no use in this HUGE bag what so ever. I am thinking about giving it away.
ShopShashi Bracelet ($30): This bracelet is cute. Reminds me of friendship bracelets! Total: (~$104)
The Verdict: I give this box another D. The only products I liked were the chocolate and the bracelet. The bag was the most terriblest idea. The fragrance was stinky. Lastly, the blotting sheets are totally whatever. Last month's box was a D as well. Is popsugar really trying to give us their must have items? Or just a load of junk? Lets hope for a better box next month again.

Here are my reviews about the snacks.
Veggie Lover: It has sweet potato, purple sweet potato, squash, carrot, green beans, taro, and blue sweet potato. It tastes like this was deep fried. On the nutrition facts it says that it was made with non-hydrogenated canola oil. Canola oil is only good for frying so I assumed they did. However, it tastes really great! It is a great alternative to french fries... which I am very guilty of.
Energy Booster: Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and almonds? Heck yes! This snack is a natural way to boost your energy. I was going to buy a pack like this at Safeway but it was 7 bucks for the same sized bag from Peckish. Good thing I held out and waited for my package!
Mango Tango: Made with organic mango, and organic coconut. The mango was tough to chew, but it was awesome. The coconut goes well with the mango. This bag was more of a sweeter treat. :)
Golden Banana: They sent me a little sample of their dried bananas. I thought that was really nice of them since I feel spoiled already with 3 full sized bags of snacks. The dried bananas tasted amazing! Almost like french fries as well except really crunchy and sweet.
Verdict: A! I love Peckish. The snacks are bigger sized, and really tasty. I am considering changing my subscription to once a week instead of once a month. The only thing I do not like about them is their website. There is no way to make an account. To change subscriptions you must send a contact form.

Total Value: $60.13
Here is the Weight Loss Bulu Box:
Tumblr media
Recipe cards to make Trim Tuna Salad, Healthy Breakfast Cookies, Black Beans & Rice with Chicken & Apples, Baked Zucchini Chips, and Popeye Power Shake.

Barlean's Omega Swirl Key Lime Fish Oil: I am not sure how to use fish oil that is flavored. Maybe in one of my shakes? But this is suppose to increase metabolism and contribute to weight loss by helping your body convert fat into energy. $15.95 for 8oz. Sample Value: $0.34
XyloBurst Gum - Blister Pack: This gum is freaking delish! Green tea flavor is great. It is suppose to help control cravings, manage hunger and promote weight loss. $8.99 for 100 pieces of gum. Sample Value: $1.08.
Prolab Quick Fire: This is the same product given in the regular Bulu Box. Sample Value: $1.10
Redd Remedies trueENERGY: The packet comes with 2 capsules. This product has rhodiola rosea and white panax ginseng. These are supposedly bring balance to the body and allows for optimal physical and mental energy. $25.99 for 50 capsules Sample Value: $1.04

Tumblr media
On the left is the Weight Loss Box, and on the right is the regular Bulu Box.
The Verdict: B+
I was kind of expecting more from this company. I think I will stick with both of them for awhile. Then if it starts getting too repetitive I will stay with the Weight Loss one.
I love Bulu Box and how they give you basically a dollar for reviewing all the samples they send to you. I am basically getting 10 dollars back so I could buy the full sized products. I can't wait to work out / go to sleep.

Ipsy March 2013 REVIEW
This months theme was "The Great Escape." I am pretty okay about this months items. The bag is VERY tacky. Not to many people were satisfied about the items.
1. yaby Eyeshadow Refills: I loved the colors I got. I know I probably have duplicates but I love how it is a cute size. However, I did try these on, and they were not pigmented at all. It takes a whole lot of product it get the colors to show. It also creases very easily.
2. Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist: I love using Mac's Fix+. However, I don't love this. It smells like you just came out of the mens bathroom. It also sprays on really harsh.
3. GlamRX Mini Freestyle Palette: This is my favorite part of the bag. Credit card sized and has a mirror! Its so cute and small so I could take only my favorite colors for traveling.
4. LA Fresh Travel Lite Makeup Remover 8ct Pouch: I only have used Neutrogena and never tried any other. These are also great for traveling. However this smells really bad as well.
Verdit: C+, I was not impressed as well. The size of the products were great but terrible quality. However, if they wanted to get the brand name out there they should have chosen other products to display.

PopSugar Must Have Box - March 2013 Musthave.popsugar.com is a monthly subscription service provided by the popsugar editors. For $35 a month you get a whole bunch cool/crappy stuff. They do celebrity and gossip news so their boxes are different from other boxes. They are a lifestyle / fashion / home / fitness / makeup all in one box.
What is in the March 2013 box and my opinion on it.
Heather Belle Signature Tassle Necklace ($75?): I first thought it was kind of tacky. The length is so long for my body type. It reaches my quads and so if I were to wear it I have to clamp it shorter.
Buxom Mascara ($19): I love the wand. I love Buxom eyeliner and I knew I would love this mascara.
The Laundress Wool & Cashmere Shampoo ($19): I am whatever about this. It smells like Christmas tree air fresheners. I never hand wash anything. I always put my wools into the washer. So this item is pretty pointless to me. I read the back and it explains why you should hand wash your clothes. I honestly do not care.
Corkatoo Corkscrew ($16): Super adorable! However, my new years resolution is to not be an alchy anymore. So I should put this away in the closet for now.
The New Black Nail Polish ($10): When I saw other people get super cool nail polish colors I was excited for this. When I opened my box and saw that I have yellow and orange. I literally wanted to throw them away. If anyone wants this nail polish let me know.
Hollywood Fashion Secrets Sweater Saver ($6): I use a razor to take off my pills from my sweaters. This is a waste of space for me.
Hollywood Fashion Secrets Tape Assortment Pack ($1): I could see why people would use this. I dress pretty Plain Jane so I don't see this useful.
Peeps ($1): These are always cute to see during Easter. I am giving them to my roommate.  Total: (~$140)
The box also came with coupon codes for 50% off Hollywood Fashion Secrets website and a code for a Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish at Sephora.
The Verdict: What I really liked from this box was the mascara and the corkatoo. The other items I am not so raving about. So I give this box a D+ grade. Lets hope for a better box next month.

Littleblackbag.com is a subscription website. The price points are $50 and $35. The $50 catalog is of course so much better. You could choose which bag or item to start out with, and you get two "free" items that are "picked to your style." From there you could trade your stuff with other people. They have curling irons, hair straighteners, accessories, bags, and bras. This website items reminds me of Neopets with Ross or TJ Maxx items.
This is what I ended up in my first box.
Lionel   Kaley Satchel; Retail Price $98
I was somewhat upset about the color, because I pictured it to be a almost white colored pink. It's still totally cute though. I do not like the interior at all. It reminds me of knock off LV bags from China Town.
Catherine Stein Designs   Beaded Bracelet; Retail Price $16
I did not think the beads on this bracelet were going to be so big. I still think its cute.
All the Rage  Geometric Necklace; Retail Price $24
I added this to my bag for $15 dollars. I did not expect the drop to be so short, but I like it. I just wonder what will I wear with this.
1928 Twisted Hoop Earrings
Now this one threw me off. The earrings did not match what I received.
This made me upset because the picture they are displaying is so much prettier than the ones I got. The loops  are much closer to each other than the LBB picture.
.
So I got all of this for $70 dollars including shipping. I am not completely happy but I am somewhat satisfied. I don't think I needed these things, but I wanted to see what Little Black Bag was all about.
I am unsure how to unsubscribe from their monthly, but I think I will stick with them for another go in April. I wish they had more of a variety items for people to trade. I also think that they should improve the layout.
If you wish to join LBB through my invitation, you and I will earn an extra item and I will send loads of good karma your way!
If you wish you add me on LBB to trade goodies click on my profile here.

Leparcel.com is a "time of the month" box. For $15 a month, you get to choose 30 of either tampons, pads and panty liners that are name brands. Plus on top of that, you get a gift that would be chocolates and girly things. It comes in a very cute package and it "arrives without fail."
My "time of the month" is very precise. I would love to try out this box one day once I have used up my costco supply and see if it does arrive without fail.

For $11 a pair per month, Sockpanda.com sends a nifty designed socks once a month to your door. The company sends socks to men and women. You have the option between bold, cool or both!
This is so cute. I am in love with socks and I always end up buying holiday themed ones at Target.
