Im way too stupid to answer all of those questions, but at minimum I can make a guess on one, that being uh anatomy.

Take this with as much salt as you want, as I haven't reviewed Dayshift in a hot minute so this might be inaccurate.

My guess on the phone head anatomy is that it's similar to the phone guy's head anatomy from Dog's other fangame, Dayshift at Freddy's, where the whole head, (skin, bones, brain and all) is compressed into the phone. As there are multiple examples of this being of case throughout the series and it's more explained if you get the good ending for the three phone heads in Dsaf 3.

An example I vividly remember being when Dave tells Jack about how Toy Freddy lost his shit when he realized he wasn't outside and smashed a phone guy's phone head in, making a human skull drop out of the head.

Again, take this with some salt as I have the memory of a brain damaged sardine and I haven't reviewed Dsaf in months.

Dialtown Phone heads make me confused

(i put far too much thought into this)

Ok so first of all, what IS the dialup? Like its the point in time when everyone switched from flesh heads to objects, but how?? Supposedly it was mandatorily enforced for everyone alive before the dialup (other than norm because he was busy in the cigarette burn of space), BUTTT apparently humans now are born with adapters?

Where did those come from? Did the dialup somehow change how human dna develops? Did callum crown effectively alter the human genome for the entire planet??? and i ask, HOW did he do this? not to mention the animals as well, who admittedly ARENT born with adapters, but their heads were still changed as well, down to insects like flies and bees. There HAS to be something else going on here, maybe callum convinced god to help him with his plan over a beer or something idk.

According to word of Dog (not to be confused with word of god), the phones HAVE blood and brains in them, WHERED THEY COME FROM??? If humans are born without heads, where did the brains come from? are they grown in a lab? do they grow into the shell of the phone once its attatched? Not to mention characters like zimothy or the knife-headded one, where there would barely be ANY space to fit organic matter.

Oh and not to mention the moduability of the heads, which brings the previous point about blood and brains into a whole nother web of questions. If humans can assumedly switch their heads at any age or ability, how is this procedure done? i ASSUME it would be some kind of surgery -and i properly salute all the doctors in the dialtown universe who have to study and understand anatomy for these surgeries-, because it would require removing ones entire head, organs and all. This also brings me back to the adaptor part, how much of the brain workings is in there? i mean, it HAS to function as part of the brain, unless babies come out with just a brain stem and spend the first few years of life growing a whole-ass brain first. Am I thinking too hard about it? Probably. Am I expecting FAR too much from a dating simulator that originated from fucking fnaf fanfiction??? Absolutely. Its for this reason I'm posting this here instead of Dogmans askbox, because I do NOT want to metaphorically knock on his door with paragraphs worth of questions about the anatomical and scientific lore of Dialtown: Phone Dating Sim.

So since I haven't had access to my PC in a little over a week I'ma just talk about my Rain World slug ideas

Mainly because I can't draw them

The Origin (this name may change) is like a primal slugcat, based off of Moon talking about slugcats evolving from these goopy little guys made to clean the pipes of Iterators.

The Origin looks vaguely like a slugcat, and if you look closely enough, you can faintly see their organs through their body. Origin has a more slime like structure, which can make them very resistant to being squished or chewed (as long as the jaws don't hit a vital organ) they can even slip out of the jaws of predators.

As for their diet, it is comprised of dirt, rocks, and the general clutter that can get into an Iterators systems. Their bodies aren't adjusted to eating fruit and meat, speaking of this, Origin is unable to store stuff in their mouth/stomach because they will eat it, only things that won't dissolve are blue fruit, the kernals from popcorn plants, gooieducks, and key items like pearls.

I might add onto this I might not, do what you want with this
