If you haven't read @goldenshrikecomic, I recommend that you do! Promptly! The story is compelling, and the character's interactions feel very grounded and heartfelt. Not to mention the art is absolutely gorgeous!

As for halvs, Swift would probably have a swift. For Gralloch, maybe a rock ptarmigan?

Stumbled across @jumalanpelko and blew through the comic in one sitting - the colors?? and shapes??? gorgeous. And the imagery of god's parasitism? maggotsssss I absolutely needed to redraw one of those panels, and here it is! The *evocativeness* of the original panels is so compelling anyone reading this please drop everything and check out that comic.
