Here is my 2017 wish. I wish to cut the distance among the nations within this country. I want to cut the judgment among the religions within this country. I want to spread the love of Jesus anywhere I go. I never knew there are so many misconceptions about the cultural differences within one nation that is called British. I would like to break that. I'm not British, yet I feel part of the British society. I am of a Russian descent, born in the Soviet Union, brought up in Latvia and now living in the UK. All my life I've been a minority - being a Russian in Latvia, being an Eastern European immigrant in the UK, and, finally, being a white photographer at an Asian wedding. I would like to build a bridge between the silent misconception of religions, cultural differences and mentalities among the nations within the UK. I do so by showing real people at their supposably the most important day of their life - their wedding day.
