Been playing around with the idea of a royalty au with Strawberry Shortcake, so here’s the princess herself and some of her court! I will post the other 4 members another time

For reference this is the roles of everyone:

There are other royal courts, so other characters like Lemon Meringue and Orange Blossom will not appear as members of Court Shortcake.

lin just so you know you destroy me every single time when i read this like my heart is on the ground in a million pieces once more. my heart is sobbing. they are so silly. doomed by the narrative just like i like my fictional characters.

11:59. Tim didn’t try very hard to hide how tight his grip was on Sasha’s hand. He’s not going to lose her again. Tim needs to be sure Sasha knows it.

(Not that he would admit his grip was to comfort her as much as it was to comfort himself.)

12:00. Midnight struck. The alarm rung out. It’s the New Year.

They made it.

And it didn’t happen on the sound of the alarm. It took a few seconds to really process. It took long enough for it to be considered ‘late.’ But neither of them cared.

Tim kissed Sasha. Properly, for the first time after he had gotten her back.

She’s real.

Sasha James is real, sitting next to him on his couch in the new year, and his lips are pressed against hers.

He’s smiling wider than he had all last year. She’s smiling back. Holy shit she’s real.

The kiss was short, and not terribly deep, but it carried a hundred times its weight.

Tim pulled back and looked into Sasha’s eyes. For the first time since she’s been back, he saw the eyes of his friend staring back at him. Without a doubt, this is Sasha James.

It hadn’t set in just how much he’d missed her until now. Fuck. God, he’d missed her. So much.

A tear rolled down Sasha’s cheek. It wasn’t like her to cry around others, but for the first time in a long time, that didn’t mean he should be on edge. It meant this moment was special.

Only then did he realize that he was crying too.

Tim leaned his head in, hiding it in Sasha’s neck. Surely she could still feel his smile, his tears.

“Happy New Year, Sash.”

Her chuckle was warm in his ear as she leaned in, returning the gesture in a bizarre hug. “Happy New Year, Tim.”
