My roommates got married last week and said today that they’re planning on moving to somewhere else in the city, and asked me to move with them when they do.

its crazy that a lot of what we call 'video essays' these days are basically low budget documentaries on increasingly weird and niche topics. no network approval no tv budget just one guy with maybe a hired editor/writer and a couple of friends willing to read voice lines. and then they put it on youtube like its no big deal. insane.

y’all gotta write Steve goofier. I understand in serious situations he sobers up and cranks up his savior complex but most of the time he is silly!! He wears dumb ugly festive sweaters at christmas! He has a dorky over the top secret handshake with a fourteen year old! He made one of his dates come along to a high school basketball game just to cheer on a kid that probably would be riding the bench the whole time anyway! He is constantly losing arguments with children! He uses bad pick up lines unironically! He gets jealous that the kids he babysits won’t stop raving about some guy that isn’t him! One of his biggest secrets is that he uses Farrah Fawcett hair spray! One of his titles was literally Steve ‘The Hair’ Harrington! What I’m saying is that he’s just a silly guy please remember this.

random anecdote for father's day: one time during a long car ride my dad asked me, "you're familiar with Murphy's Law, right?" and i was like "isn't that the one about how anything that can go wrong will go wrong?" and he said "yeah, exactly" and i said "why do you ask?" and he went "well, have you heard of Cole's Law?" and i said "no, actually, what's that?" and he said "it's mostly lettuce and carrots with a little dressing mixed in"

The family is trying to escape, but three of its members suffer from physical disabilities. Adam, her 13-year-old son, has a head condition that limits his mobility.

Ala'a, her 20-year-old daughter, is unable to use her leg due to a previous injury caused by an earlier attack by the occupation forces. 💔

As for Eileen herself, she suffers from severe back pain, which makes it very difficult for her to move. 💔
