Kaiseki

I was on vacation in japan and participated in a kaiseki cooking class from cooking sun (https://www.cooking-sun.com/) where I learned how to prepare 9 different kaiseki dishes.  If you ever visit Tokyo or Kyoto try to access to one of their cooking classes. They are really great!!

Cherry blossom cookies

My own recipe: [this is the first try, the recipe is not yet perfect]

Outline: 1 Egg 80g icing sugar 80g flour vanilla- & marzipan flavor

Pink blossom: 2 Eggs 165g icing sugar 165g flour 1 tbsp. rosewater   1 tbsp. elderflowers sirup Pink food coloring

Mix all ingredients, pipe dough on a baking plate. Let the dough rest for 6-8h, Bake it for 7-8 min / 175°C
