Fathomless is an original story of my creation. I have only recently begun working on ironing it out but this story and universe have existed for almost three years now. I just thought I was about time I share it with more people.

Questions

[i] Is the story completed/near completion?

Short answer, no. Wordy answer, it depends on how you look at it? Most of the main casts’ story arcs have been/are being planned out. Yet, there are also huge gaps that have been left untouched within the plot as a whole. Personally, I know there is very much to be done an I am working on it as diligently as I can but school and other things will always come first.

[ii] What’s it about?

Simply put, six-ish people from different realms—and even decades—were chosen to come together via an old prophecy that was assumed to be a hoax. Though once they came together their families quickly disband them because they wanted nothing to do with the prophecy. This was many years ago and they're now doing everything in their power to NOT fulfill their prophecy. Not because it’s necessarily bad, they just don’t like what their lives will become, nor do they really like each other. Though of course, they can’t avoid each other forever. Especially not when one naive souls goes searching for them all.

[iii] Where can I read it?

Well, you can’t... yet. I plan to start out with a written version and then turn it into a webcomic or something. Of course it’s subject to change but imagine it happening one way or the other. Still, I don't count on that happening soon, but do look forward to short stories, comics, and character illustrations!

[iv] What are some things I should expect to see?

Expect to see some diversity between the characters and a good amount of LGBTQ+ representation. It's always been my goal to create stories with a diverse set of characters so that a variety of people can find something to relate to. Also I'm a sucker for tropes and cliches so I imagine there will be tons of them within the story itself. And a sh*t ton of fantasy mechanics being used in the best/worst ways.
