3rd artwork of the year. And this time it’s a fake screenshot illustration to be used an example for fake screenshot commissions I’m planning to open at least by this month. x<

Random ocs only made for this illustration. The clouds were a pleasurable experience to paint with, because I like cloudy weather.

First full illustration of the year.

As an artist who mainly focuses on character illustration, backgrounds are one of my least favorite elements and that I’ve been neglecting them for so long. Backgrounds can take extra time depending on how much detail it needs to tell a story where the characters are at, though I’ve been the type of artist who just has to rush to get each artwork done quickly before the motivation dies out and becomes eager again for the next what I want to draw.

Hiraya isn’t fond of thunderstorms, especially having to deal with brownouts. Lights are no concern as he has the ability to summon lanterns, but lacking internet connection and not be able to heat food does stress him out.

Some light studies while using my new OC and mascot, Hiraya, as a test dummy for this assignment. So far, getting the hang of how to color in lights properly by using different layer effects, especially with overlay and dodge.

Reviving the scented Litwick variations I created back since 2017, and had to choose the Christmas themed, peppermint-scented Litwick into the spotlight. Also more Pokedex info added in just to add more lore background. :>

Also for those who have seen the Lampent variations, yes I did change the Lampent design to a more simple parol lantern. The previous Lampent design was based on the most expensive, and heavier parols, that it felt more suited for Chandelure, so here it is in all its glory.

I’ve been more active on my Instagram and Facebook, and a little on Youtube. 2020 was indeed both a curse and a blessing when trying to look for out-of-house employment as a person with respiratory concerns. ; u;  Luckily there were plenty of freelance animation offers at that time.

Redesigning Jollibee by following Japanese standards of character design. The mascot is classified as “cute” and is meant for general audiences, thus it leads under “kawaii” aspects. 

I would say i did try my best. 

Jollibee is a fast food chain originated from Philippines.
