I convinced my partner (a non scientist working with scientists) to watch Murderbot with me.

At the scene in episode 2 with Mensah on the hill, he related so much to Murderbot that he had to pause the show and tell me how just on point the characterization of the scientists was: generally kind, smart people who can talk themselves into doing the most incredibly stupid shit.
