Kingdom Hearts Question
Ignore the Trolls profile picture. Also a huge Disney nerd. But, sadly, I’ve never played Kingdom Hearts.
(collective gasps from the readers)
I know, I know. I grew up with an Xbox, playing a lot of Mario and Sonic. But with all the hype of Kingdom Hearts 3, I’m thinking of joining the fun. I’m doing a bit of research so I’m not going in completely unprepared.
Before I go out and get a new/used console and the games, I need some advice from you current/former players. What system works best with Kingdom Hearts? Can I go back to my beloved Xbox? Should I invest in a PS4? Go on my computer?
Is it worth it to start from the first game? What order do I need to play the games in?
Am I overthinking this? :D :P
Hoping you guys can make help me! Thanks!

Anyone else notice that Harper and Branch are nearly identical in terms of colors? Their eyes are different, but past that paint, Harper has virtually the same skin tone and hair color as Branch (These are not the best pics to show that). “Trolls” texts like “Follow Your Art” confirm that the different pigments on Harper are paint (from all the art she does), and they aren’t part of her colors. There’s a Trolls theory out there that trolls with similar colors are related (which makes some sense).
Honestly, these two look like they could be twins. And I love them both! :D

You know what?
I’m seeing a sort of pattern with the seasons of Trolls: The Beat Goes On. And I don’t mean their tendency for cliffhangers.
Yes, most of the episodes are silly and strange and mostly for entertainment. In fact, I’m not sure the filmmakers of Trolls 2 will consider the series canon. They may reference events from the series. But amongst the zany, nonsensical episodes, there are a couple good ones. Episodes I truly enjoy watching.
Here are my favorites (not necessarily in this order) and why:
Meet the Peppy: Finally, an episode where Branch bonds with his future father-in-law! (Because we all know Poppy and Branch are getting married someday) Save for the weird Swag Stags who puke things like foam fingers and T-shirt cannons, this episode was a good example of Branch overly worried about impressing his girlfriend’s father. King Peppy is goofy, as usual, but actually acts like a lovable father rather than a Troll version of Goofy without the Hyuck! Plus, we get to see where Poppy gets her invitation-making/scrapbooking skills.
Coop, Where’s My Guy?: We got a Cooper-centered episode! That’s really the main reason why I like this episode. I just love Cooper. And, this time, we get to see him in all his craziness but also get a hint at how clever he really is. Cooper is unique in many ways, and I think there are lots of opportunities to expand on his character. He’s even the hero in this episode!
Trolly Tales 2: Maybe at the bottom of my list of favorite episodes, just because it’s still weird. But I love what the writers are doing with adapting well-known stories. This time, we see Trolls’ version of the Trojan War, the legend of King Midas, and (oddly enough) Star Wars. Keith makes a comeback as a great storyteller. This character has come quite a ways since his appearance as the derp-y troll child who liked to hide in other trolls’ hair. I hope the writers do another episode like this, because it’s actually kind of cute.
Fluffleberry Quest: Our first hearing of Branch’s grandma since the movie! We learn of a special cake recipe attached to a beautiful memory for Branch, and we see a sweet gesture (pun very much intended) from Poppy and the Snack Pack to recreate Branch’s favorite dessert to make him happy. There’s plenty of silliness in this episode—an extreme cake recipe, a musical number to distract Branch, and even a new location called Slippery Slope—but also lots of very touching moments. Definitely my favorite in this season. Imagining Rosiepuff making that cake is such a funny image, and I hope I see some artwork like that on Tumblr soon!
It is also interesting to note that this season references the movie more often than the other seasons. I know the Netflix series isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. If it weren’t based on a movie, I think it would still be quite entertaining. Amongst all the silliness and weirdness of the cartoon, there are gems.
Also, in an AU where Broppy doesn’t exist, I totally ship Poppy and Archer. :D

I had no idea most of the names in the Spanish version of “Trolls” had been changed. Cool!
You know, I was very concerned about trolls names in Spanish. Translaters didn’t change Poppy and King Peppy’s names but they changed a lot of other characters names. For example Smidge was changed to Chiquilina (I guess because of her size) Diamond Guy to Diamantino, Creek to Arroyin (Because Creek literally means Arroyo in Spanish so the “in” at the end is just cause it has to sound more friendly and cute). But nothing like Branch. I thought the first time i saw trolls movie “what’s the name Of Ramón(YES, because Ramón is the name he gets in Mexican- Hispanic American translation) in English? So I watched trolls in English and his name Is Branch!! I was like "it have NOTHING to be with his Spanish name” (Note: IDK if that name is used in Spain too, I’m from Mexico so…) So after meditate about it I thought that it could be just a translators whim or something like that. But one night, one of those nights that you can’t sleep and just are overthinking about random things, I finally got it. His name in Spanish is because Branch literally means Rama in Spanish, so “Ramón”, like that, it’s just a friendly-funny-hilarious way to translate his name. I was like “ I just can’t believe I’m that dumb”. But just think about it, his name is Ramón!! Big Branch pa’ que me entiendan 😂😂😂 I’m sorry I know that you are not even going to give a shit about what I’m saying but I have to take it off of my System.

Finally! I finished! Well, almost. I still need to make her coat. I was going to knit the dress, but my friend’s dog ended up chewing on it, and I decided to sew it. Ended up a bit long, but I like it!
What do you think? Look okay? She looks a lot better than my Baby Branch doll. The only thing that came out wonky were her ears.
And why did I make a Rosiepuff doll? Because I can! Plus, I can’t find her in the stores because, of course, they don’t make a doll like her. But she’s just so awesome that I had to create this myself.

You know, I've been doing research on film novelizations. The author in charge of making the movie script into a book often gets one of the final drafts of the script. But between the time the author receives the script and the movie comes out, details often change. That's why the book comes out before the movie but minor details are different.

I have been inspired to make an MLP/Trolls crossover. :D
A fun little crossover fan art! Branch and Poppy as PONIES! :D
Of course since Poppy is a queen I had to make her an alicorn! Originally I was going to make Branch an earth pony but then I thought of all the ways his wings could fit into who he is, a paranoid survivalist! Flying could help him more safely complete safety and survivalist tasks as well as allow him to be in the air looking out for danger! c:
Poppy’s cutie mark is a little yellow heart with a smiley face in it, and a flower around the heart with stitches! All to represent her love for spreading cheer and doing too much scrapbooking lol Branch’s cutie mark is Gary cos I felt it was an appropriate way to represent him XD
If these two did suddenly become ponies I imagine Branch would be very concerned about everything while Poppy bounces around all enthusiastic about how adorable they are and how pretty this strange new world is!
Art by me, drawn in SAI c:

Thought you guys might be interested in seeing my work-in-progress. This is eventually going to be my Rosiepuff doll, which I have decided to knit instead of sew. So far, It’s really coming along. I had to use the black yarn to mark off where I need to cinch the neck and hair, but I like the look of it! Now, I just have to knit and sew on the arms, stuff and cinch the doll, and make the dress and coat. Should be fun!
Hey you knitters out there! Any tips for knitting doll clothes?

GUYS CHECK IT OUT!
I made a Baby Branch doll! I decided I was tired of futilely looking for a Baby Branch when I can make one myself! I even made his flower out of a pipe cleaner.
Yeah not my best work, and it kind of looks like Lilo’s doll Scrump, but it’s a project I’m proud of. I had a hard time sewing together all the pieces of the doll I cut out. I managed to get the fabric color right and even found blue faux fur for his hair. But I had to do some sort of surgery on his ears to give them better shape, and his head is a little heavier than his lanky body.
But now I know what to work on when I make a bigger version of this doll. I’m going to try a different method, and include more details like his Hug Time bracelet and the patches on his shorts. I also want to make a Rosiepuff doll, which I’ll either sew or maybe knit.
If any of you have tips, let me know!

Don’t know if anyone thought of this.....
.....but do you think we’ll see Chef again in Trolls: The Beat Goes On? I mean, I think it’s unlikely, but Creek somehow managed to survive being eaten by that hill monster thing. Maybe we’ll see Chef again? Thoughts?

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect with Dreamworks. In my opinion, they’ve had a few hits and some misses with their animated movie history. But I saw the all-star singing cast and thought “eh, that could be cool.” It should be noted that, at the time the movie came out, I was preparing for final exams at my university.
After I saw the film, I walked out of the movie theater with a big smile on my face, still humming to myself. The characters were goofy yet relatable. The songs were catchy and not cheesy. There were moments that hit you in the feels, and real moments that stirred actual emotions. I began listening to “Get Back Up Again” when I was stressed for the end of the semester. I fell in love with Branch’s character.
It’s one of those feel-good movies that I’ll be watching over and over again.
YO Trolls fandom…. I wanna know your lore ……. what got you into Trolls? what did you think it was going to be like before you watched it ??

So, I have a heavier presence on Fanfiction, and I am writing a popular trilogy called “The Flame of Happiness.” One of my readers, neomoon585 (aka Cyberneokakuya) made a poster for Part 2 of the trilogy! I just had to share it with you, because I love seeing how my readers interpret my stories.
