RIP Akira Toriyama...

It started with a boy and it continues with a legend.

Akira Toriyama created a grand adventure that has followed many of us from childhood to adulthood.

His passing is a blow to all who grew up with his fantastical adventure of a little alien monkey boy that inspired generations.

Thank you for everything Mister Toriyama you will be missed greatly.

Dragonball was a BIG part of my childhood and my fathers childhood. It honestly hurts a lot to know that he has passed. The tournaments were always my favorite.

I feel so sad...

✨️🩷Birthmastine✨️🎁

My best friend and I celebrate our birthday christmas and valentines day in one day because getting together is tough since I moved. We call it Birthmastine.

Here's what she got/made me!

The first thing is the Walmart Gummy Bear in yellow! It had a bow but the cats got too it...😅

THEN she made me this whole elaborate Pizza Box Valentine card complete with Neon Leon himself rocking a very nice outfit that was an outfit from a fanart of Heizou from Genshin Impact!

Just look at the deatail! And to top it off she had no idea that Leo, especially this one, likes puns, jokes and the like, so this was perfect!💛

I also got Mad K Volume 3 but its not pictured here. She always goes all out on her gifts and the hand made cards are always so nice. I want to show off all the ones shes made me so far but their in storage for now.

I can't wait to give her my gifts.😈🥰💛

Batman vs TMNT is peak crossover for both series.🐢🦇

I seriously loved this movie and have been thunking about it since I saw it a couple days ago.

I've been trying to watch anything and everything I've missed to fill the turtle void and I'd always strayed away from lile this because I was worried about the writing. However I was so happily surprised that the movie was actually really good! It could have fallen into really our of character writing but they were fantastically done!It was really refreshing to see a Bat family dynamic.

Theres so much to say about the movie but mostly as a fan of both TMNT and Batman it was very faithful to both.

All the villian designs were great and they had some banger lines like Ra just flat out calling out Jason Todd! Or how I really felt Shredder was a formiddable foe and not just a crazy cartoon ninja.

The comedic timing too had me dead.

This movie has quickly become one of my favorites!

May type up more about it later but man do I LOVE this movie.💙🧡❤️💜🦇🐢

Finally got the guys into their Lair/home!🐢❤️🧡💙💜

They have full autonamy and Raph immediately went for the punching bag! 😂 After a bit he joined Leon and Mikey on the couch where they watched a kungfu movie.

Donnie went straight to his lab and Master Splinter went to the other computer and started playing a fighting game which I found hilarious.

After a bit Mikey made a pizza and everyone had a good time.

Honestly the best outcome of this is that no one died yet.😅

🐢I have to say it...

The bayverse TMNT movies are not as bad as I remember them. The second one SHOULD have been the first one in my opinion. It was just the right amount of silly and honestly the visuals for the villians are soo good!

The first one I think tried to hard to be edgy and serious and it's funny to think how much it mirrors the 90s movies in that aspect.

I like both but the 2nd movie is my favorite for the Bayverse.

I can also see a lot of Rise inspo in this version.

Are they perfect? No. But man did I enjoy the ride!

I'd seen both movies when then came out years ago and I hadn't since but I was starved for something else to watch and I have no regrets!

Those Bayverse big guys have seriously wormed their way into my heart.💙❤️🧡💜

I've been feeling a little blue so I made our TMNT young adults in the sims. It took me about 2-3 hours beacuse I wanted them to be disnticnt in body and vibe. Like if you saw them you'd know who they were in an instant. They're a mix of various versions of the turtles, mostly Rise and the newer itteration of them, but also a sprinkle of the older versions as well in the traits section. I was meticulous.

I also made Splinter but didn't screen shot him as it was late in the night and I needed the sweet embrace of my warming blanket. (It's so cold guys...)

Anyways I want to take more screen shots of them and their other outfits and stuff and I have to work on their House Lair. Also I changed Donnie's hair but didn't take a picture of that either. I also want to make the April O'neal House where I make all the different versions of April and Casey. Just for fun ya know?

After the movie yesterday I wanted to see if there was any more Troll content I could watch and low and behold this lost gem!

I remember watching this as kid and I used to love it so much!

The vault of memories just came flooding back! I recomend it although it is dripping with 2000s cringe magic!

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Things I liked:

The new design types of characters

The singing

The songs, especailly the one they use to save Floyd

Floyd

Grizzabella and king what's his names wedding stuff

Floyd in flashbacks and in general

Bruce and his family of muppets

The knockoff muppets

The designs of the world and the textures ugggghhh so good!

Velvet and Vaneer being designed like Betty Spagettis

The moment when we think Floyd is gone and some girl behind me said "Se murio?!"/"Did he die?!"

The little crinkle paper lady, she was so cute.

Things I didn't like:

Poppy

Viva

The forced lore of Poppy's new sister

The forced family is everything and nothing is more important than family

The way JD got a minute of character detail and than it's never touched again.

The way none of the other holders of music were seen at the wedding.

The way we didn't see the brothers reconcile and how they got to the venue.

Floyd's lack of scenes outside of the diamond.

Also Baby Diamond. I just can't.

So, yeah I liked the movie over all but when I tell you giving Poppy a sibling out of the blue felt so dumb. Like I get it, they 're gonna make her a new doll line but wow was that not necassary. This could have been a found family story with Grizzabella and while yes they are best friends could have led up to the I see you as a sister conversation and it would have been ten times more impactful.

Some people don't have siblings and sometimes wish for them but as someone with 5 and as the oldest I can tell you it's not always sunshine and rainbows. Poppy finding her sister was nice and all but I couldn't care less about Viva or her plight becuase it was just so out of nowhere. Branch's family dynamic was more realistic of having lots of siblings but even then they didn't even try to have meaningful conversations about how they got to that point. All they did was fight, fight again, and then suddenly they're in total sync? Talk about a magic moment.

And not to mention the total swept under the rug moment when Jd talks about how being the oldest put presure on him to be perfect. How it made him the way he is but they don't linger on that and move on so fast we never get a resolution.

Oh and for Poppy's part, she's still so very pushy, obnoxious, and overall a terrible person to Branch's feelings. He tells her numerous times that he's not ready to talk about his past with her and instead of accepting that she borderline manipulates him into telling his story that he wasn't ready to tell. AND THEN she makes the decision for him to go on an adventure to which he says no until he finds out it has to do with Floyd. Branch had every right and reason to not want to join JD, HIS own brother who he put a boundry on becuase of how he hurt him, but Poppy goes on and on about how SHE wishes she had a sister basically guilt tripping him into going disregarding his feelings about it entirly becuase family or whatever.

I like Poppy but I cannot stand Poppy and now there's Viva too and I don't think I can stand the both of them.

Normalize cutting famliy off and living your best life. If they hurt you, be it physically or emotionally, you have every right to cut them out of your life and owe no one an explanation.

Sometimes the writing is very good but if they were trying to make a meaningful story about family they I feel they missed the mark a bit. Still visually a fantastic movie and the music was equally very good.

I'll give it a 8/10 and if your a fan you'll like it. I think I still like the 2nd one the best just becuase of the places we saw and the music we heard was so diverse.
