AND HE SPENDS THE ENTIRETY OF HIS CAREER TRYING TO CATCH UP WITH HIS IDOL TO COMPETE WITH HIM AS AN EQUAL AND SHARE THE PODIUMS WITH HIM AND FEEL WORTHWHILE DOING SO 

AND WE MEET HIM AT THE LOWEST POINT IN HIS LIFE WHERE HE BELIEVES THAT HIS DREAM TO CONNECT WITH VIKTOR IS IMPOSSIBLE AND THAT HE WAS AN IDIOT FOR EVEN TRYING

BUT NOPE TURNS OUT THAT THE MAN HE ASPIRED TO JUST MEET AND COMPETE WITH ONE DAY IS THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE AND HIS SOULMATE AND THEY FIND THAT LOVE AND CREATE A FUTURE TOGETHER

 this is too much it’s too good to be true I’LL NEVER LET GO OF THESE TWO

it's been kinda surreal seeing people and blogs that have been inactive for half a decade now come back to mourn ice ado with everyone else. this anime truly did touch so many people that even after 7+ years since the finale aired we are still coming together to remember how wonderful it is 💙💖
