Recently I saw a beautiful post about how Dream would look like in the Ukrainian interpretation. In the post, it was said that he should be dressed in a black vyshyvanka and a coat with stars and also !!black leather boots!! But i lost it and can't find it anymore😔

So, here's my version of this idea, a little bit wintry and and dark but..

минулорічна замальовка великої історії і минулорічне фото спокійного життя:

В моїй колекції занадто багато всього, так багато, що більшість на моєму місці не згадала б і половини. У мене вдосталь скриньок, яскравих і не дуже. Є звичайні, що пахнуть відсирілим деревом, є позолочені, прикрашені самоцвітами, картонні, з написами і без, потерті і зовсім нові. Вони всі однакові за розміром, але різної ваги, і буває досить кумедно, коли не можеш підняти картонну коробочку, але з легкістю береш в руки десять таких самих стальних ящичків. Їх неможливо порахувати, і той, хто надумав би витрачати час на таке безглузде заняття, напевно зійшов би з розуму, а так і не встиг би дійти хоча б до ста.

Я збираю ці скриньки, а вірніше - те, що в них, з народження. Неможливо, скаже хтось. Я не буду переконувати. Неможливо зовсім не мати таких скриньок, подумаю я, інакше хто ти без них?

Володіти скриньками не страшно. Це не найгірше, що може трапитись. Можливо, хтось читаючи це зараз посміхнеться, кинувши оком на свою маленьку колекцію, або задумливо гмикне, виражаючи свою незгоду… але це не найгірше, це можна терпіти.

Іноді я відкриваю скриньки, іноді вони відкриваються самі, без мого бажання. Це важко, але доводиться змиритись. Ти не можеш наперед вгадати коли скринька відкриється і на скільки це буде непідходящий момент. Ти не можеш відкласти зміст на потім і робити вигляд, що нічого не відбудось. Ти не можеш втекти і повернутись, коли все якось само виправиться без твоєї участі. Ти мусиш з усім розбиратися сам, тут і зараз.

Хотілось би сказати, що за цей час в мене з‘явився напрацьований план дій на випадок непередбачуваного відкриття скриньки, але ні, я не на стільки сильна людина, та і людиною мене можна вважати з великою натяжкою. Кожне виймання вмісту - це травматичний досвід, з яким не завжди можеш впоратись самотужки. Чи впораюсь я? Вирішувати не мені.

Сьогодні додалось ще пару екземплярів. Один затертий ящик із відколотим лаком (значить, вміст справжній) і блискуча керамічна коробочка, розписана синіми птицями (несправжнє, могло-би-бутнє). Мені обов‘язково треба відкрити обидві, такі правила. Я довго сумніваюсь з якої б почати, і мій погляд зупиняється на синій птиці.

Весь світ в такому підвішеному стані. Здається, ніби все рухається чисто по інерції — навчання в університеті, яке регулярно переривається через обстріли, робота, що повністю залежить від Інтернету, життя, що миготить як світло з слабкою напругою. 

Здається, ніби телевізійні компанії створюють розважальний контент з посмішками болю, руки у водіїв транспорту трусяться в очікувані ДТП, а продавці в магазинах сліпо відраховують гроші. Весь світ стоїть на паузі, але водночас кудись намагається рухатися, слідуючи за законом Земного тяжіння. 

Цікаво виходить. Надзвичайно цікаво.

Resurrection Cathedral ( Sumy, Ukraine) and it’s creepy legend

You are looking at the Cossack Baroque, and more precisely at the temple-fortress and the Slobid "three-headed" church (our regional feature). The church owes its existence to the colonel of the Sumy Cossack regiment, Gerasim Kondratiev, and was primarily a defensive building (the walls are 1.5 meters thick, deeply cut windows, secret underground passages to the Psel River)

The cathedral was built in the 17th century, but unfortunately its original facade cannot be restored, as the soviet union partially destroyed and modified it. nearby you can see the bell tower built in 1906 (neo-baroque)

the church itself dates back to 1702, just imagine what these walls have seen!

according to legend, a girl was buried alive in these walls, later during the restoration, female bones were actually found there 🌚

and the sister of the same Colonel Kondratiev is considered to be their owner

in the 17th century, Sumy suffered from constant attacks by robbers, the leader of which, as it turned out, was Maria Kondratieva, the sister of the colonel of the Cossack regiment. the loving brother came up with, as they say, a just punishment and walled his sister alive in the walls of the Orthodox church 🌚

Rember how this March Zelensky has given a huge interview to russian "liberal" journalists? He answered all their stupid propagandistic questions, he patiently explained ukrainian the position, he pointed them in the face what is the truth and what is lie... And what was the outcome of this, exactly? Did it manage to achieve a shift in the discourse? No, not at all. They still talk about "out-of-nowhere russophobia", "presecution of russian-speaking population in Ukraine", all the ATO fakes, NATO, biolabs, "Ukraine doesn't want to negotiate", and so on and so on. Did it change the russians' attitude towards war? No, it didn't. Consequtive losses and a risk of mobilisation did, if only skin deep. Did it prompt russian "intellectuals" to start looking critically at the imperialism within their culture and their chauvinistic attitude towards their neighbours? Fuck no. They complain about russophobia in Europe and about Kazakhs not being grateful enough that the Noble White People have blessed them with their presence. And the newspapers whose representatives took part in the press conference - Pezduza, Dojd, Kommersant, Novaya Gazeta - they regularly get into scandals due to spreading official kremlin narratives and financially supporting russian army.

Y'all constantly criticise Ukrainians for not being open to a dialogue with russia. This will probably be news for you, but a dialogue is a two-way communication. There can't be a dialogue without russians listening to us, and right now they just don't and do not even attempt to.

So what did Ukraine get out of this interview? Nothing. Nada. Zero. And what did russian journos get out of it? Reputation of anti-Kremlin pariah. Since the beginning of this war, russian channel "Dojd" has received 19 million euro. Meanwhile, crimean tatar channel ATR didn't get a single cent for the last nine years.

Fucking pathetic.
