An illustrated poster based on Peppertones' Give Up, omg I love the songs in that album! And so embrace yourselves haha, I will explain each square from top to bottom, left to right:

Countdown to Sunrise board with N-3-V-3-R hours left from the lyrics 뜨지 않는 해처럼, 끝나지 않는 밤처럼 like the sun that doesn't rise, like the never ending night, and it continues with,

목을 조르는 지독한 절망의 순간 a moment of terrible despair strangling the-man-in-the story's neck.

An almost closed eye from the lyrics 조용히 지친 눈을 감으려 한다 the man was silently closing his tired eyes.

The "hey", a voice heard from somewhere, is a repeated verse in the song, but with different lyrics.

A pair of shoes standing in a lit spot with darkness surrounding it from the lyrics 해가 비춘 어느 날, 그가 마침내 멈춘 곳 one day, the sun was shining on the spot the man was standing (i guess, lol)

거기 남겨져있는 천 개의 우산 a thousand umbrellas left there. Ah I took the umbrella memo design from the fan event for Peppertones' 20th anniversary!

오오 절망이여 나를 포기하여라 o despair, give up on me, the real meaning of give up from the song.

A cursor on the play button of a realtime moving video of the earth from the lyrics 아주 오래전 멈춰버린 이 세상이 지금 아주 조금 움직인 것 같아 this world that stopped for a very long time had started to move a little.

Another Aksara Jawa (Javanese Script) typographic poster from me! This time, I designed the typeface by tracing the shapes of the ever-so-iconic Times New Roman. The text reads Times New Roman ukuran 12 spasi 1,5, which translates to Times New Roman size 12 space 1,5, a very typical instruction given by teachers here for typed assignments, lol.

So, I decided to play more with Aksara Jawa (Javanese Script) this year! Even though I think I might make a spelling mistake one day, lol, but I get to try out and explore different styles of types and graphic. And this is my first Aksara Jawa typoster this year: Good Luck (gut-lak) written in a cute handwritten style with hearts on the sides.

光の匂いを嗅ぐ. 草みたいな匂い，懐かしい匂い. この匂い覚えとく.

"I'm smelling Hikaru's scent. You smell like grass, a nostalgic smell. I'll remember this smell." Lol at Hikaru getting insecure of his body odour in the midst of Sora trying to engrave Hikaru-that-day's scent in her memories so she doesn't forget how they were, even if things change in the future.

I wanted to make this one I made a few years back to loop better, but now they look like they're on a running machine! Anyways, I'm still going to put one of my favourite dialogue of these two here too. So if you haven't watched this show, you know what? I loved it a lot lot!
