me? moving to @leafy-lys because i had a big identity crisis? it's more likely than you think!

More seriously, it's going to be my last post on newt--x. I've had this blog for over a year and made a lot of wonderful friends (and two lovely partners, <3), and that was a problem for me. I always feel the need to leave and start everything again, and I've been feeling it for some time now, hence why I basically abandonned this blog. I'm really trying to put my shit together and, mixed with the afforementioned identity crisis, I cannot do it on this blog. I tried to, and tried to come back. But I don't feel able to. This blog is really important to me and will always be a part of my history, and stay in my memory, but I can't stay on it, no matter how much I want to. So, well, time to follow @leafy-lys! (And yes, I go by Lys now. Lysandre/Lysander (both spellings are correct) for long.) On @leafy-lys, you'll find: a new tagging system, a proper queue, some aesthetic, cute animals, fashion, some studyblr later, aromantic pride, maybe some witchy stuff, definitely fandom stuff, and such. You don't need to follow me on there, you can always send me a DM for my Discord # to keep contact, but as I said, newt--x is no more, as a blog at least. XOXO, Lys.

A friend of mine posted this and tagged my old instagram account, asking me to share it. I figured sharing it here where I actually have a following, would be far better.

Please remember that just because the government is giving into pressure and greed, that doesn’t mean that any of this is getting any better, in a lot of ways it’s getting worse. And even if you yourself aren’t being as heavily affected anymore, there are people and communities that are.
