finding venus

my venus swims in harmony with yours; the two fish of pisces with the beaming sun of aquarius, so enthralled in their rarity that they've separated from the rest of the school.

whether it's out of rebellion or simple distraction, we've ended up in a forbidden part of the sea.

but there's no marlin searching the waves for us, there's just us.

and when sailors see two shimmering fish soaring over the surface of the ocean, they don't quite know why, but our names come to mind.

the man in the moon

the magician is no longer just a tarot card, he's an aquarius with the teeth of a wolf and the man in the moon is just one of his illusions made to distract me while he pulls my head to the side and tears into the flesh between my heart and my lips.

and even though I know this is how it ends, and I start to see the moon as a threat and my heart rate picks up, I still cannot tell if my slow breathing becomes gasps because I know I'm bleeding or because I know who drains my blood.
