i really love the concept of jeremy having to bring Betterment out into his outside life, being forced to wear a mental hospital jumper everyday on national tv after years of being mostly formal and put together, having all his basic necessities in a little box, only eating the same plain meals everyday. I'm also a big fan of post ending aus where it all goes to shit and somehow things get better, esp post abj where Jeremy can recover from what they did to him in betterment. i think he'd really struggle with going back to who he was, he's still scared to wear a full suit and finds dress shirts too tight after years of just loose jumpers. He doesn't remember how to tie his tie, build his model planes, cook meals he genuinely enjoys, he can't just go back to his old life. He has to relearn who he was and how he survived before his harsh mental hospital routines.

Had a thought, gotta jot it down. The fact that, canonically, Megan & Boseman and both of their wives are close and have dinner together on the reg is 1) adorable and 2) even more adorable if you think about Pathway D and factor in Jeremy being back. If you're a Jeremy x Jenny shipper, it's a triple date and that's cute!! But even if you're not, I still headcanon those six to frequently hang out together post-canon. A platonic Jeremy & Jenny just being each other's +1 and ensuring that neither become the extra wheel 💜

Cause like, bonus headcanon time. I find it hard to believe that Jeremy would get back (Pathway D) and immediately enter the crazy dating world. The reason why him and Jenny make sense to me is because they're best friends and that care so deeply for each other... which doesn't change, even with the passage of time. In terms of platonic Jerenny- I don't even see Jenny doing too much dating around so eagerly at that point. Like, if she isn't in a long term relationship after the heatwave, I see her just being satisfied with her independence/ life on her own.

Anywaysss that's my I'm-not-be-used-at-rehearsal rant, getting down off my soapbox for the evening lol

(This is early on in the game, but already tells us 1) they hang out *regularly*, 2) Jenny is still active and available on the dating scene as it feels like the date is implied to be one of the first meets, and 3) Jeremy teasing yet caring about her wellbeing)

Colin trying to set Jenny up on a date with his cousin and then Megan's brother during the uprising broadcast, and Megan calls her "too smart" ...it's a small detail I know, but just further solidified in my mind how compatible Jeremy + Jenny are written to be.

"Hey, you" *literally one of the most tender, romantic hugs I've seen....* (srsly, you try hugging the homies like that and tell me it's totally platonic😂 the head grab is what does it for me!)

"Why didn't you make contact?" "It would've only put you in their crosshairs, I'm sorry." ...... ladies gents and nb friends - He's looking out for her and her safety. again !!!

Love love love this! As a demi person myself, I always saw so much of myself in Imogen when she was first introduced in Season 1. Like crushing on your friends??? Such a real AND painful demi experience!! 😢💜

i see the comphet lesbian imogen idea (not for me but if that’s what makes you happy go for it!!!) i respect it i appreciate how it makes people feel but i raise you: bi/pan demi imogen.

i’m not demi myself so i can’t speak to the experience, but from my understanding it make sense that her three canonical* crushes (nick, ben, and sahar) were all long-term friends of hers. also, that she only had feelings for sahar (that she realised or that reappeared) *after* they had become closer again.

from my understanding, it is possible for someone who’s demisexual to stop experiencing attraction when the emotional bond is broken. the anecdotes quora showed me said that only happened for them in extreme cases, and i don’t know if that applies to bens treatment of her, but if it does it could explain her not being able to answer elle as to why she even likes him.

besides that, maybe for imogen the “we’ve been friends for a long time” explanation isn’t just comphet, but is the best way for her to understand her feelings.

I am over the moon excited for Heartstopper season 3 but one thing I hope for that I haven't seen a lot people talk about...

Pan!Imogen

I see a lot of Lesbian!Imogen. And like, sure! I would be content with that. Sahar × Imogen is a GOOD ship. But I would love to see Imogen's identity actually be pansexual instead of lesbian! Reason being, the show is very keen on representation and creating satisfying arcs for different LGBT+ labels. Obviously Nick discovering bisexuality in season 1, then we get Isaac serving AroAce in season 2 (my ace spec heart was so happy by that btw💜), so why not pansexuality? We already have a lesbian character (Tara), Darcy is gonna get their nonbinary arc next season (yay!), and if Imogen x Sahar are infact endgame, it stays a sapphic ship regardless of Imogen's sexuality AND it wouldn't invalidate her season 1 feelings for Nick!!

Idk, would cool to see them try to tackle to difference there :)

Might be a hot take in this fandom, but I am a lady with opinions soo here ya go

Some Timeloop spoilers onward, you have been warned!

Reducing transformative fiction aka fanfiction to just smut/ pornography is a gross oversimplification of what fanfiction is. Anyone who does that clearly does not know enough about what fanfiction truly is or how important it is for young writers to hone their skills in a place they deem safe.

Like, if people love your world and your characters enough to want to write stories to provide themselves with more content with a your completed series, let them play around and do whatever the hell they want in your world (with reason ofc, legally speaking). That's what is so beautiful and human about writing! The ability to create your own world, to make that your playground, and to play around with ideas that the media didn't have chance to cover in-depth if at all.

Especially with newbie writers who don't even know where to start. Fanfiction allows them to take a fandom they love and explore. Characters and world already established, only leaving room for ideas to lead the charge.

I haven't quite finished the Timeloop DLC. What I've played so far is brilliant but I expected no less from this fantastic game. The musical segment is by far my favorite, I'm a former theatre kid who dabbles in community theatre once in awhile so it's no shock to me that it's my favorite. The one song Jenny does combined with what I remember the devs talking about on their livestreams awhile ago are what brought me to writing this.

Still my favorite game for sure, but just had to get that off my chest. Rant over lol.

Was talking to some friends the other day, and they *actually* knew what NFB was! I was equal part shocked and impressed. Finally?? Someone who gets my *totally healthyy obsession* with this game???

My Roman empire for this game is thinking about the promo the devs did for live & spooky where they had Patrick hijacked the broadcast and jeremy & jenny, like the tag team duo they are, burst in to put him in his place and say "no, megan & jeremy were supposed to host..." (anyone else thinking where's megan?)

and then it's revealed that jeremy canonically doesn't have a tv and doesn't understand what video games are, and likes to read, cook fine food, and play chess. all lovely things btw but also??? super! cute! couple things!

curled up on the couch, both reading and jenny has her feet in his lap; trying to cook together, jeremy all serious and teaching her how to cook, but she keeps joking around and making a mess, and he can never stay mad at her; and then ofc she kicks his ass at chess...

anyway that's like, maybe a minute of my day spent reflecting on completely fictional characters lol
