I’ll never forget this moment! 2008. Success Magazine was hosting their BIG relaunch event 5,000+ people showed up! It was a tribute to the legendary @jimrohn.page (btw, Jim was @tonyrobbins mentor) I was the opening keynote speaker, alongside legendarily: @johncmaxwell @billphillipsfitness @thedeniswaitley @iamjosephmcclendon & others There was just one problem… I lost my voice! The only time in my life I got laryngitis! John Maxwell gallantly offered to take my spot. I successfully fended him off! :-) The night before, I prayed for a miracle Morning came... no voice I couldn’t believe it! But my faith was stronger than my reality. I envisioned a successful presentation. & I prayed – declaring my voice healed NOW. Backstage, I could feel the concern of the @successmagazine executives; they asked, “Are you sure you want to go through with this?” “Absolutely!” I croaked The event began Darren Hardy (publisher of Success Magazine) came onto the stage to introduce me. He told the audience “Niurka has lost her voice.” Then said, “Please put your hands together & welcome to the stage: NIURKA!” Confidently I stepped onto the stage, walked to the front & began presenting in a whisper. You could hear a pin drop. The audience could feel my struggle, but even greater than that – they could feel my devotion I put my heart & soul into that presentation At the pinnacle of completion, my voice cracked, &… it came back!!! The audience stood to their feet in a unified standing ovation! I was in awe of the SUCCESS of this moment! What empowered me to serve & succeed in the midst of this challenge? 1 Thing… Knowing Who I AM & Being Devoted to a Clear VISION & PURPOSE. #tbt 1999 ⠀ ⠀ I spent 40 days & 40 nights in Egypt ⠀ Here’s a bit of the story… ⠀ At 24 yrs old, I was feeling “burnt out”…⠀ ⠀ I’d been traveling on the road with Tony Robbins for 5 years (as his top trainer)⠀ ⠀ My soul yearned for a Spiritual Awakening, an Adventure of a Lifetime ⠀ I took a globe, closed my eyes, spun it around & said, “where am I to go?”⠀ ⠀ My finger landed on EGYPT ⠀ I decided to take my first sabbatical for 3 months ⠀ To go within, to listen intently, to explore my own nature…⠀ ⠀ WHO I AM?⠀ WHAT is the PURPOSE of my birth?⠀ ⠀ From the moment I arrived on earth, I have been a MYSTIC✨ ⠀ In my early 20’s I decided to MASTER BUSINESS, in order to give me the resources/time to explore the deeper mysteries of our existence.
