Whispers of the Horizon

Beneath the sun’s eternal glow, Where mountains rise and breezes flow, The birds take wing, their songs released, A hymn that soars above the seas.

The ocean hums in vast embrace, Reflecting skies with endless grace. The mountains stand, their peaks held high, Guardians beneath the painted sky.

And through it all, the sun still reigns, Its golden touch on hills and plains. While birds proclaim the day’s decree, A harmony of sun, mountains, and sea.

So, I thought I’d try writing another poem again. Nothing special. I just needed a little break from my novel that has been taking up all my time the past days.

HELLO SPRING!

Isn’t it wild how nature just knows when winter’s over?

Like, for real — we still have snow hanging around in the mountains, but the air? It feels different. You can almost feel it waking up. The ground’s not frozen anymore, and all these little green shoots just start popping up like, “Hey, we’re back!” Sure, it’s still early, but every year without fail, I know it’s spring when I see the coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) coming up in the same spot near my house.

No alarms, no reminders — nature just has this built-in instinct to wake up. Like it’s some ancient thing that’s just coded into the world. And somehow, every year, it just works.

Nature is incredible, beautiful, and magical. Makes you stop for a moment to just be and enjoy the time (bc time flies way too fast! wtf it feels like it was just Christmas !!!)

Anyway, just needed to share that because, well, nature’s just cool like that.
