I've made a Watership down patche as I've been possessed by the embroidery demon and must embroider nonstop now, anywho expect more very soon . . .

It's based on the 4k restoration cover with hazel and fivers normal colors (rather than the shadow)

PSA on Coats and Clark's metallic string... it sucks. Don't use it

I use a lot of coats and clarks. Most of my string is, as seen below

So well, im not sure when exactly these are from, I do know the latest they could be is the 70s. So tell me why string from the 70s holding up better the the string I bought 2 days ago.

The string I bought 2 days ago

I rarely ever have my string snap back at me the way this one had. it was constantly breaking, the metallic coating would come off, and it just looked like my fabric was unraveling since that's how it looked underneath the coating and because it was SNAGING MY FABRIC AND UNRVALING IT.

So when the coating separates, it bunches up and acts as if it's covered in knots, so you either have to fight it which leads to it looking bad and ruining your fabric or you need to tie off/undue what you did and restring it at a different point (which would be tolerable if it didn't happen so often and the string gets tangled and stuck so quickly)

All in all, a struggle to work with that resulted in me having to restart my project 3 times and then back track another 2 because I can't seem to learn.

Right, maybe it's common knowledge that it's not very good, or maybe I used it wrong, but seriously, it would have been easier and looked nicer to use tinsel.

Right so its done (for now) I was going to embroider the ribbon too but decided that would be more work then it's worth, so I bought and cut one instead, and ended up lighting my hair on fire trying to seal it.

So, I secured and sealed the emblem and cut it out and then did a quick but secure stitch to get it in place, I may go back over the boarder to secure it more / make it look better. But for now, it's complete and pretty nice. It's very long and dramatic, just like I wanted it to be

I don't think I'll turn the house emblems into bookmarks, but I will at least embroider some patches.

New embroidery project started

House banners book marks, using the hogwarts legacy version of the Slytherin logo. I'm not sure how many I'll make, but I at least want to make a slytherin one for book 2.

Currently, i have this sticknote (with drawings of scenes from the book and movie) with this keychain attached, so im very excited to update it

If all goes well, I'll do the rest of the houses.
