What makes Rose an appealing character to you

I really like how sensitive she is! she portrays herself as someone who’s secure and confident in herself (not the best word choices but my brain isn’t working) yet the opinions and feelings other people have about her mean a lot and heavily impacts how she conducts herself.

and the way she wants to be liked and seen as someone others trust makes me soooooo sick bc whenever she is given kindness it’s shown how much it means to her 😭 I could be getting this wrong bc I’m terrible at keeping track of what I read but in fresh hell (???) she’s hallucinating titan members fairly often and they’re always affirming her agghahhsijh

plus she’s just really weird about everything in a way that makes me laugh

for me a long term rosecass relationship is them having high tension encounters for decades with devastatingly tender moments sprinkled throughout that make them feel sick thinking about each other and they never talk about it

I like to think her early closet consists of :

- what babs picked out for her/gave her during nml

- what cass picked out for herself within the first 5 minutes of being in a store to sate babs

- clothes she took from babs closet (dc bring back matching cass and babs bandanas and my life is yours)

as she ages I see her continuing to dress similarly picking out things she likes once in a blue moon just bc she’s not thinking about how she dresses all too often like she’s going to be 25 and still be wearing the same zip up hoodie babs gave her at 17 (convenience and sentimentality <\3) also a heavy believer in cass being a exclusive couture sunglass wearer and only in that specific big dark frame style…. overall I think she’s very practical nothing to crazy

I also love cass’s concert look that she put together herself! it reminds me of faye wong’s early style like the layers and textures are something that I think are so cass hehhehehe….

thrifty girl who has way too many clothes… it’s outrageous… she puts them all to use though bc she is a layer enthusiast trust me her favorite seasons to dress are fall and winter

big band t-shirts, sports jackets, jackets in general, patch jeans that she made herself, loves a skirt/dress over jeans, patterned pants, etc… etc… I just see her as being all over the place 😭

also a jewelry girl in the sense that she buys those big jars of jewlery that smell kinda funny

love the idea that she’s altering and flipping clothes too <\3 her looking for sewing patterns at the library <\3 eventually leading her to patterning her own spoiler suit <\3 but also her getting her exact cape pattern at the library <\3

whenever I draw her I use 2000s catalogs as my references for her outfits which I’m now noticing tend to be a little sportier 😭

anyways this is one of my favorite looks for her so so so so cute

OOOOO so if bab's is cassie's coach who is rose's ?

ahhhhhhhh ok so initially both girls start with their fathers as their coaches before cass goes mia in the sports scene and before returning with babs (and bruce but babs is her main coach) but for rose I can’t decide if she should continue with slade or if I should have dick be her coach?

like in my head I have rose especially being given a complex about cass (as kids) by her father and keeping her with him would make cass’s return more tragic bc while cass got away from david here is rose still in the same place with slade picking up right where he left off when it comes to pitting his daughter against cass 😔

meanwhile with dick rose’s desire to beat cass would still rooted in wanting the praise and approval of her coach but it’s more in her head and about wanting to show that she is capable along with facing residual trauma rather than actively reacting to ongoing abuse

maybe she just switches half way through idk need to think about it more!!!!
