Probably because Vigilantes has always had themes of social and political reform. Something MHA proper pretends to have without ever sitting down and unpacking the dystopian hellscape that is its universe's everything.

I mean they made Inko skinny and removed Koichi getting stopped by a cop, for using his quirk to move a little bit faster. As well as Koichi warning Pop that the cops were coming.

Also Koichi is like borderline homeless. And for some reason that doesn't make him relatable. They may also be trying to make him more like Midoriya, in the sense that there is no character, only explosion.

There are two bits from the Vigilantes Manga which the anime unfortunately neglected to include.

1. Koichi getting pulled over by a cop for using his quirck.

2. Koichi warning Pop that the polic are coming.

I genuinely don't understand why these scenes were cut. They really establish the 'Fuck the Police' mindset of vigilantes.

All-Shining Mother, Madama Selene

Summoning Chant: Ananael Graa (Wise Moon)

Madama Selene is among the most powerful Infernals a witch can form a covenant with. Due to her nature as an Infernal Goddess of the Moon. Basking in her mere presence is said to empower any Umbra to the same heights as a full moon. But like any denizen of the inferno one must take heed with her temperament, for it is something akin to the Moon. Full of light one moment and then absolute darkness in the next.

The Umbra see witches in contract with this Infernal as a sign of a strong leader. Due to the intellect no doubt possessed by one who's domain is the Moon, and the strength that same domain would grant an Umbran Witch.

And arrive Madama Selene, the All-Shining Mother, did. In a form that seemed kissed by the moonlight, with ephemeral silver armor that was a tad revealing. A crimson red crown of crescent moon shaped horns adorning her almost sapphire brow. She had no hair, but in it's place was a nebula of stars. Around her arms where bracers detailed with the phases of the moon in purple stones. She flew to her target on wings indicative of a Luna Moth with unearthly grace. Her black almost silk-like toga flowing like waves. A perfect match the the obsidian eyes she possessed.

Time for my random contribution to the Blue Exorcist Fandom.

So lately I've been on a bit of a Bayonetta kick, unsurprising to anyone who knows anything about me. And I had a thought. The Vatican would have an aneurysm at the concept of an Umbran Witch. Think about it, not only do they sell their souls to Infernal Demons but can also summon them (Not to mention Demon Masquerade). Along with several other things that make them basically unstoppable, given that they are without their counter balance, the Lumen Sages.

This next little bit is gonna be completely ignorable, it's just me putting this idea into the world. Jeanne is a highschool teacher and Bayonetta is (supposedly) a nun. Shima is a little rebel, so if I may submit to the court. Umbra Witch Shima, who could pull an Eva and form a contract with Rin who is a (Half) Demon I.E Infernal in nature. But the only way I could see Mephisto "willingly" employing Bayo and Jeanne, would be if Rodin told him to. I've fought Rodin, and that immortal fallen angel is pretty terrifying. I mean he is literally called The Infinite One. Mephisto could never.

Of course there would be some lore changes on the Exorcist side of things. But that could be written off as the Vatican not having all the information. Satan would likely be a relatively powerful Infernal that controls a fairly large territory. With Sheba still remaining the absolute Queen of Inferno. Maybe that guy with the talking sword is a Lumen that managed to survive the clan wars. Some of them had to and just spent the next few hundred years laying low.
