i feel like staying kind is the biggest “fuck you” i can give the world. there is something so empowering in knowing that although the world has thrown all this hate at me, it will not turn me into it.

recently, i came across a few artists on spotify with only a thousand or so listeners. i’ve been trying to broaden my music tastes, and although i wasn’t expecting much, i gave them a go. let me be the one to tell you that their music is so good. and i really dont understand how people can produce such high quality work and receive next to no recognition for it.

it makes me wonder how much art there is out there, and how much we’ve missed. there’s got to be art that only a few people will ever get to see, and some which is lost forever. how do i know im not missing out on the greatest artist of our generation?
