For this day I entertained a thought that after the events of the campaign, Percy would have a temple built to honor not only the Matron- but his Champion as well

Hello all! I’m so sorry I haven’t been active - I had medical stuff come up, and recently had hip surgery and had to defer college because of it. That being said, I’m going to be trying to dedicate my time to my art this year, so I wanted to let you guys know!

When my card declines at therapy so they tell me about how Percy was meant to be a clock maker once, and how now, time is slipping through his fingers, the gears are rusting from his fallen tears and the memories are fading, corroded by his hate and rage and sorrow. I don’t really know how to put this into words, but there’s something very a-light-in-the-dark coded about Percy and Vax’ildan, but somehow both of them are both the light and the dark. Like how stars are living and dying all at once, or something.

It makes me feel things that are vaguely incommunicable.

Perc'ildan Week is an event created in order to celebrate Percy de Rolo x Vax'ildan ship from the first campaign of Critical Role and The Legend of Vox Machina. This year it will take place from the 21 of July 2025 to 27 of July 2025.

The week is focused on Perc'ildan (Percy de Rolo x Vax'ildan). Other characters and ships that does not include Percy or Vax are permitted but keep in mind the main focus of the week. Shipping Percy or/and Vax with other characters is strictly prohibited and not allowed.

Suggestive content and full nsft is allowed but must have appropriate tags and warnings to keep every Perc'ildan fan comfortable. Those works will be reblogged and tagged with a #nsft tag

Dead Dove Do Not Eat content is allowed but must be tagged and trigger warnings should be put on the post and/or in the tags. Those works will be reblogged and tagged with a #dead dove tag

Thinking about Percy like the saddest thing about him isn’t necessarily his apathy about his death, but rather his fear of living. I think part of him wants to suffer, serve penance for all he’s reaped and be done with this mortal coil. He doesn’t want to hurt anyone else. He’s terrified that someone will forgive him because he can’t figure out how to forgive himself. He’s been broken from the start and he’s scared something will get in the cracks and grow where the light shines through. He loves with his whole being and doesn’t know how much is left of him. He’s scared someone won’t be driven away by. He’s scared to be loved.

I don’t believe I have anything lying around, unfortunately. It’s funny, I have stacks upon stacks of writing scraps that are angsty, but not doodles. I’ll have to take it up with management (my silly ass brain).
