thinking about dilf giyuu who lives next door and is so dangerously hot that you’re just dying to jump his bones.
and yeah, you probably shouldn’t be thinking about him like that, not when he’s friends with your dad and you babysit his daughter on the weekends. but you swear you’ve seen him look at you the way you look at him.
it starts off pretty innocent, his hand ruffling your hair while he thanks you for looking after his daughter before opening his wallet and paying you way more than he was meant to.
“just don’t tell your dad i’m paying you this much, yeah?”, he’ll say, a small and innocent smile on his lips despite the look in his eyes that says otherwise.
but who are you to turn down an extra hundred dollars?
the next thing you notice was his lingering touches when he came back home from work after greeting his daughter, thanking you with that gentle smile of his that’s just so unsuspecting. he’ll gently pat your hips or linger his fingers a little too long around your waist - coughing to hide his growing arousal.
but he certainly can’t hide the obvious tent in his pants.
it’s not even a week later when you find yourself bent over his kitchen counter, the sound of his pelvis colliding with the plush of your ass and your pretty moans echoing against the walls.
god, you didn’t expect his cock to be as big as it is, filling you up completely as giyuu bottoms out inside of you, his thrusts powerful and his cock throbbing.
“fuck- y’feel so good.”, he groans quietly against your ear, nibbling along your lobe as his hand moves to grab a handful of your breast.
you can’t help but whine out his name, throwing your head back and rolling your eyes at the way his cock fits like glove, your pussy squeezing against his shaft as you feel a hot white pleasure build up in your stomach.
giyuu could tell you were reaching your peak by the way your gummy walls squeezed around him, his thrusts growing faster and rougher - wanting nothing more that to see his pretty babysitter come undone for him.
“cum for me, pretty.”, he whispers, coaxing that intense feeling of pleasure from you as your legs shake and begin to give out while whiny moans leave your parted lips.
“shit-”, he hisses, feeling the way your pussy sucks him in so deeply before pulling out and giving his cock a few final strokes with the palm of his hand before littering his warm cum on your bare back.
as you begin to come down from your high, your chest heavy while giyuu grabs a warm cloth to wipe away his mark on your back - you can’t deny that despite how wrong this is, you’ve never been fucked so good in your life.

when the headcanon is so good you have to
okay like i know this is technically giyuu cutting off his hair to symbolize new beginnings and letting go of burdens and stuff but it's 10x funnier to imagine it as him as trying to make up for cutting off tanjirou's hair back when they first met. like as an apology for cutting off the ponytail. and now all i can think of is giyuu seeing tanjirou throughout the series and internally repeating "oh shit, the hair still hasn't grown out, what have i done"
#fuck why didn’t I think of that#that’s so cute he totally would#giyuu tomioka#tanjiro kamado#water brothers

Why Censorship Is Bad
An Essay On The Dangers Of Censorship

Hello everyone. We keep seeing a lot of takes online (mainly Twitter and TikTok) talking about how there needs to be censorship on taboo subjects. We wanted to share some reasons why that may not be as great an idea as you may think.
The taboo subjects now adays are usually sexual in nature. Kinks, incest, loli/shota, etc, a lot of people want to ban. A talking point we've heard a few times is that if people see this stuff in fiction then they'll start to like it and change the way their brain is wired. This is THE EXACT talking points conservatives had when videos games first came out, calling them violent and the cause of school shootings. More importantly for this essay, this is what happened as well when movies first came out.
When movies first came out there was an outcry from the public to have more moral films. In fear of both loosing an audience and being censored by the government (as movies were too new to be protected by law) film studios adopted The Hays Code, self censorship basically. The Hays Code censored the stuff people wanted gone sure, extreme violence, sex, excessive use of drugs, but that's not where the censorship stopped.
Amongst things banned in The Hays Code were queer people / relationships, and interracial relationships. When you open the floodgates to censorship, who decides what's moral and what's not? This is exactly what would happen again. You say no sex, the law may hear no queers. And lately, they'd sure love that opportunity!
So what do we do instead? It's completely fair if you're triggered by certain subjects in media or just plain old don't want to see them. That's fine. What people can do to help is properly tag stuff. For example the tag system in AO3 is there for a reason, USE IT. If you see someone online making something you don't like, block them, but don't harass them. You have a right to block them, just as they have a right to create. Trigger warnings have become a bit more common place beyond fanfiction too. They're in some books, shows, and video games now.
Censorship is a slippery slope, one that in our current day we really don't need. Don't let the government have more tools to erase you.

some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

The Bloom of Wisteria
Giyuu and Shinobu have a small chit-chat during their freetime, he notices she appears slightly ill.
April 23rd, 1915.
Tomioka and Kocho sat wordlessly at the kissaten for the first few moments. It wasn't often they’d spend time together, their schedule as Hashira filling up any time they had for leisure and friends. She found herself near giddy when he agreed to meet, and now that they were sitting, sipping tea together, she was eager to talk.
“So, Tomioka, What have you been up to these days?” she asked politely, breaking the comfortable quiet.
“Work,” He grunted softly, a beat passing before he spoke again. “Although, missions have slowed down a bit.”
…
She wasn't satisfied with that answer. She could only count on one hand how many times she's seen him talk to other people outside of demon slaying. And not even a handful of times she’d seen his sweet smile. Shinobu knew this was slightly hypocritical to pester him, as she also tended to drown herself in duties. But even a woman like herself, who had little to no peace, made time for the people she held dear.
“Nothing else? Just work? You're far beyond your years, Tomioka.” She scoffed gently, her tone becoming rather serious.
He didn't feel the need to address her remark, it didn't matter to him in any way. There was nothing he did besides that, except for the occasional visit from Tanjiro, or a letter to be read from the master.
“That's not all you’ve been up to, is it?” The pillar asked, knowing full well what that answer was. “Tomioka, I know demon slaying is important, but having a life is well important too.” She chided like a mother who was ‘more disappointed than mad.’ He didn't mind her nagging, if you could even call it that. But he felt a little undeserving of her unlimited fucks she gave.
“It's already hard to find enough time to do things like this, Kocho,” He reminded dryly.
He unfortunately had a point, but refused to elaborate on it nor rebuke her earlier claims. Even though the Hashira were only called out in a desperate time of need, with the corps dwindling in power and the Hashira having a few spots left open, it was becoming more frequent. Their schedules were always tight either way, like every other demon slayer. The girl pondered over his point, knowing she couldn't just say that she did things like this quite often. Her and Tomiokas relationships were so different, he lived alone while she was the head of the butterfly mansion-
“Kocho.” a voice snapped her out of her thoughts, focusing her attention back to the other pillar. Once he saw she was listening, he continued with a heavy sigh.
“Forget about me. How are you doing?” Giyuu eyed her paleish and sickly figure with care, a crease beginning to form between his brow. Although she presented herself as upbeat, something was amiss. A pregnant pause from the woman followed.
“Busy, just as you are.” She answered kindly, desperate to preserve the same kindness her sister had held in her heart. Although she was curious as to why he asked.
He took another sip of his tea, letting his eyes fall elsewhere. “There's no need to push yourself so hard,” Giyuu said abruptly, a hint of concern laced somewhere in those words.
Her eyes widened a fraction, unable to conceal her surprise. This was new. The water pillar, the usually stoic man, was expressing concern for her? And no other (besides Himejima.) had hit the nail on the head or noticed; noticed her fatigue or sickly appearance that she had so hardly worked on for the sake of one demon's demise. Shinobu composed herself before speaking, after all, ‘only the immature could not handle their emotions.’
“Thank you, Tomioka, for the concern.”
He gave a firm shake of his head at her thanks, displeased but wouldn't press further. It was none of his business to pry into another pillar's life anyway. That didnt mean he wouldn't stop inwardly worrying about the younger girl, though.
—--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After that small interaction at the teahouse, the butterfly girl found herself wandering the twilighted streets with a certain Hashira beside her. They lived in a fairly secluded area, where the nightlife was near nonexistent, so Giyuu had no worries of someone coming along to vex him and herself. Most vendors had closed, the occasional exception being the soba restaurant. The azure eyes of the man bored into the back of Shinobu's head as he lingered slightly behind, wondering if she would say something.
Kocho gave a small look over her shoulder as their eyes met.
Why was he looking at her like that? She’d seen his other sharp glares, and even the dumb one he used to ‘unintentionally’ piss of Shinazugawa. Shinobu returned her gaze forward, giving a small sigh.
“What is that look?..” Her attempts at holding Kanae’s gentleness faded a bit as the night wore on. She was still Shinobu in there deep down
“I’m not giving you a look.” He stated, letting his face fall back into the blank slate it usually was after being caught.
“Uh-huh.” an exasperated sound left her lips again, her feet beginning to drag a bit from drowsiness. Tea did that to her, she figured. “You're looking at me like I'm some sort of stray kitten,”
An amused huff left his lips, one that he hoped she hadn't heard. He was, in fact, staring at her with concern filled eyes. Tomioka wasn't one to worry so openly, or poke around in others' business. Something nagged at him. He wondered if he should just brush off her observation - No. Not when it needed to be addressed.
“You look sick.” He bluntly stated, not troubled about how his words came off. “Are you alright?”
Shinobu’s back had momentarily straightened at the grave tone he spoke in, stopping her on her heel. The silence stretched on farther than both of them liked, that's when Tomioka knew something was wrong, and he scowled.
“You don't owe me an answer,” His tone dropped another octave, before turning slightly softer yet keeping that firmness. “Just assurance that you are fine, at best, is enough for me.”
Shinobu Kocho was a liar. She lied constantly, to please others, at least that's what she told herself. Never would she have expected that her lies would be caught by Giyuu Tomioka, of all people… The smaller pillar could not find her voice as it was lodged somewhere in her throat. No lies would come up, not a single one to reassure him that she was indeed ‘fine’
Finally, she uttered.
“...It's nothing that prevents my duties as a hashira to be fulfilled, Tomioka. Don't corrupt your thoughts with my health.” Half truth. The half truth was all she could manage.
He gave a small nod of his head in acknowledgement from her words, the worries plaguing him one slightly soothed. Despite Giyuu’s attempt at not pressing, he had done it anyway. Not being able to trust his mouth, he began walking with a simple ‘goodbye’ muttered beneath his lips.

full disclosure, one of my favorite dynamics in TGW is not Miko!Reader x any canonical character, but the one between her and the old crone that raised her
“Out all night!” The old woman threw her a withering glare before she returned her attention angrily stabbing at the firewood with her poker. “And no need to ask what it was you were up to! Shameless!”
Y/N did not answer; she could not, for she was unable to summon any sound in her throat.
“One would think you’d set a better example for the young girls! You are the heir to this Shrine, and yet you spend your nights having romps in the hay –”
The head Priestess’s shrill voice melted beneath the loud roaring in Y/N’s ears. She clapped her hand over her mouth in an effort to squash the whimper she felt building in her chest as her lungs constricted and tears welled hot and fast in her eyes.
“--Do you have anything to say for yourself, anything at all –?”
No, she didn’t. There was nothing she could deny, no barb she could hurl back that was sharp enough. Even if the old woman hadn’t spied them emerging from the garden hut or their tearful goodbye at the gate, as Y/N strongly suspected she had, there still would be no hiding what she’d done. If her empty futon hadn’t given her away, then the rumpled state of her clothes and the rat’s nest that had been made of her hair, certainly would.
All Granny would have to do was tug the collar of her charge’s kosode to the side to see how Giyuu had seared his devotion into her skin.
She couldn’t hide what she’d done, nor would she want to. Nothing she’d done was wrong; chastity wasn’t a requirement for inheriting the Shrine and she’d always known she’d never marry. She couldn’t spoil herself if she willingly offered herself to him, knowing she would never get herself back. Not fully, anyway.
She would not apologize; she did not feel sorry. Not one bit.
Defiant, Y/N lifted her chin high, her nails biting into her palms as she willed herself to become steel; to tell the old crone that she would not say sorry for making a bad example of herself once more.
The moment she met Granny’s eyes, full of anger yet so full of worry, she burst into tears.
