Batman tells Gordon that he doesn't kill. Thinking that it's a legality issue, Gordon deputizes Batman and gives him a gun and badge. Batman of course doesn't use the gun and just figures Gordon is stressed.

After Joker kills a Robin, Gordon starts to deputize the Batfam members.

Gordon: Next time you see that clown. Take. The. Shot. Rookie.

Robin (Tim, tiny ass 14 year old holding a 45 magnum): Umm... Yes sir?

The Queen defends her King

Self indulgent piece of seeing LOA Dami with Raven by his side except she’s embraced more of her demon side. I feel like I don’t showcase overprotective Raven enough but it’s only in certain circumstances that I picture her like that.

Fear

Everyone is afraid of something: heights, spiders, darkness, the future... For others, our fears may seem ridiculous, or senseless. But for us, they’re real, they’re so real that a single picture of them can trigger nausea or panic attacks. And they can hurt us... but, just as long as we let them. When I was about 5 or 6 years old, I had real terror to the escalators, and I'm still a little ashamed to admit it. I couldn’t get up to one without crying or grabbing my mother's leg. Yeah, for me it was a great challenge.

One day, I decided that I was tired of having to turn around at the sight of one of them. So, with all the courage a 5-year-old girl can muster, and the fairy dust I stole from Peter Pan (I loved that book and I was 5, what else could I dream about?), I uploaded one of those stairs. The ones that went down, ironically, but I did. And I was so happy that I went downstairs (this time using the right ones) to tell my mother, and she bought me a vanilla ice cream to celebrate.

Fear will weaken us with every second that passes if we don’t fight. I said earlier that we're all scared of something. I have learned that Fear isn’t an exception to that sentence. Imagine it as a person, because that way is easier to fight. And how to scare Fear? With courage. Fear is terrified of the possibility of being defeated, so show him that you are stronger than he is, and he will leave. He will not take a day. He may take two, but I doubt it. Hope is the last thing that is lost, and Fear will delay his march as much as he can. This is not a tale with a “they lived happily ever after”. Sometimes it’s the fear who wins. Do me a favor, will you? Never let him win.
