Rafayel: Umi no yakusoku
Rafayel's fingers reached out and felt the water of the sea brush against the tips of each of his fingers before rolling out of the bed with a slight thumping noise. He paused for a moment, viewed his purple and red eyes in the mirror, and frowned, running his fingers through his hair so the leftover strands weren't sticking up, and moved towards the vanity with a small leap over some of the supplies that had been knocked onto the floor. "The wedding gift should be here.." he muttered, almost defeated, for a few seconds before finding a blue box laced with the design of two koi fishes that seemed to be swirling around and picked it up. The box soon opened, revealing a teal and light purple scale that almost fit in the palm of his hand. "Oh great sea god, bless this scale with light and love," he whispered, watching as it seemingly began to glow. With a heart full of anticipation, he headed out into the vast, mysterious oceans.
He glanced down for a moment as he watched what seemed to be a couple goofing and playing around as they strolled through a market district that had been previously lit up the night before with lanterns. The shimmering designs on the fabric were reflected in the light of the sun, which was filtering through the waves and seemingly brushing the surrounding area with its light. The market district, a vibrant tapestry of colors and sounds, held a captivating allure. Rafayel stopped at the foot of the temple and pushed the door open.
Nervousness couldn't begin to describe what was settling in the hunter's heart, she would have taken on a thousand no a million wanderers if it meant that she didn't have to do what she was about to do. 'Calm down, it's just a marriage ceremony, following ancient traditions that have been practiced for over 800 years, it's not like it's going to cause something stupid, like jellyfish walking naked..' she thought to herself, her voice filled with a mix of anxiety and humor, though the imagery did make her laugh as she slipped on the long silver mermaid gown over her head and fixed the rest of her makeup. The hunter's internal struggle was palpable, her anxiety and humor mingling in a bittersweet dance.
As the music slowly began to play, she stopped momentarily, hearing a familiar melody that took her back to long ago when Rafayel had first found his way onto the shores. "Rafayel….." she said, suddenly pausing with her hand over her mouth as tears began to run down her cheeks. And she quickly brushed her hands over her eyes, took a few deep breaths, and started walking. Seemingly, the veil on the dress began long and flowing, decorated with images of small fishes and pearls stringing through her hair as if it were some tiara made of light. "I saw you pause, what happened?" Rafayel whispered as soon as she was close enough but clasped her hand on his own. "It felt like all my memories from some past life had wrapped around me suddenly, and my emotions were about to burst." The hunter whispered in a slightly hurried tone, stumbling over her tone and sighing softly as she looked down at their interlocked fingers before blinking as Rafayel moved to step behind her and place something soft but also slightly heavy. "Just something to remember me by, well, something you can keep on you…well, not like I'm leaving," Rafayel said and then brought his hand up to cover her eyes for a moment, letting the seem for a moment as they were almost whisked away back to goregous sunset, causing the crimson and violet are in his eyes nearly to be reflected in the water's edge. The hunter gasped for a moment, almost in alarm. Still, suddenly, her hands came up and held onto Rafayel's, curling around them as she turned around and pressed against his chest, and the sea seemingly wrapped around them in a twisting vortex before releasing them. "That was new." the hunter mused but stepped back in awe as Rafayel seemingly seemed to be standing in an old outfit, hair long and scales glimmering in the sea waves as he smiled, his eyes crinkling into a signature one. "A promise is a promise. We did make that promise back then and at the hospital, and now we make a promise for good this time," he explained and smiled as he leaned slightly lower down so she could press her lips against his.

Rafayel: Idol's Temptation
As Rafayel stepped onto the stage, the lights caught his fingertips, making them glisten like diamonds. He stood tall, taking a deep breath as he looked at the audience. False scales, intricately painted in shades of purple and red, glimmered at the corner of his eyes, making him look like he was glowing under a sky full of sparkling stardust. His dance moves were precise and graceful, and each step timed perfectly to the beat of the music. With a sly grin, he slowly slid the shirt off his shoulder, revealing a loose-fitting fabric that fluttered softly in the breeze. As he continued to dance, he winked and wiggled his fingers, conjuring up a fiery glow that seemed to illuminate the entire stage. The flame flickered against his skin, revealing the intricate corset he was wearing underneath. As the next song began, he donned a mask that covered his mouth, adding an intriguing layer of mystery to his performance.
As the performer sang on stage, his eyes scanned the audience, taking in the excitement of the lively crowd. The gradient of purple and red lights illuminated the arena, casting an electrifying atmosphere. Amidst the sea of cheering fans, the singer's eyes fixed on a young woman standing beside the barricade, her arms crossed and a displeased expression. She appeared disconnected from the crowd's energy, and the singer found her demeanor intriguing. He paused momentarily, observing her, but she soon noticed his gaze and made a dismissive gesture, indicating that he should continue his performance. The singer returned his attention to the audience, the cheers of the enthusiastic fans drowning out his thoughts. The young woman pushed past several fangirls, who were eagerly reaching out for the singer and disappeared into the throngs of the crowd.
As the performance ended, Rafayel flopped on the couch, grabbed one of the cold clothes, and seemingly dabbed at the beads of sweat forming on his skin. "You know, I understand you are my bodyguard for my performances, but aren't you my girlfriend as well? You gave me such a displeasing look when I caught your eye. I feel hurt." Rafayel said, pouting and looking at her before noticing she seemed to be glancing at her phone. He did make the motion to sit on the far end of the couch, causing him to move and look at her. "We're alone…aren't you going to say anything," Rafayel added but sighed in an almost defeat; he thought about it for a few seconds longer before grabbing onto the girl and pulling her so she was sitting precisely on his lap chin resting on the curve of her shoulderblade, arms wrapping around her in a tight embrace and sighing in defeat. "You did good, better than expected." the bodyguard said with a soft and almost annoyed sigh and began playing with tiny strands of Rafayel's hair. "Day off tomorrow; we can do what you want," Rafayel added low in his throat, pressing his forehead against her shoulder. "You….alright."

Zayne: Winter's Seclusion
The Hunter closed their eyes briefly, feeling dizzy as the room spun around them like they descended a spiral staircase. The sensation was overwhelming, and they felt their stomach churn. To steady themselves, they placed their fingers, which looked pale and fragile, on the delicate necklace that hung at their throat.
As they tried to regain their composure, they heard a knock on the door, which brought them back to reality. The knock sounded once before fading away, and the Hunter felt relieved for a moment. However, the relief was short-lived, as the same spiraling sensation took hold once more, and the knocking resumed. Their heart raced as they heard the sound of a door opening, and a pair of hands covered their eyes, plunging them into darkness. The Hunter felt a shiver run down their spine as they wondered who could be standing before them, their heart pounding.
"As your husband-to-be, I probably shouldn't be seeing the bride right now, but as your doctor…" Zayne's words trailed off as he glanced down. "I'm not looking. It's not easy walking around with a blindfold, but your friend insisted that I do not spoil the surprise," he added in a hushed tone. Zayne found Hunter's hands and carefully turned her around so she could hold onto the material of his coat. She sighed in soft annoyance and relief as their breathing calmed down and their eyes seemingly closed, crumpling more into his embrace.
"Panic attack gone…?" Zayne whispered, just low enough that his breath tickled her ear. He brushed the stray strands away with a seemingly gentle gesture before stepping towards the door.
"Let me think.." Zayne said and waved his fingers in small circles as his evol activated, tiny snow crystals coming down and coating the dress and veil in glimmering in snowflakes, and brushing over her earlobes, causing a pair of crystal-like earrings to hang from her ears.
"Now you have a piece of me…well, you'll have more than that," Zayne said but glanced towards the doorway and slipped the blindfold off just long enough that the playful sparkle could be seen in his eyes as he reached out and pressed his lips against her cheek and then against her lips, lightly nibbling at her bottom lip before vanishing out of the wooden doors and out of sight.

Rafayel: Neko Tales (Part 2)
Rafayel felt anxious as he adjusted his hat, which covered the neko-like ears sticking out of his head. He left half his tail out, making it appear like a trendy fashion accessory. He stood in the art exhibit, arms crossed over his chest, trying to hide his nervous hands twitching at his sides with each movement the tail made. He thought, "I feel more like a dog than a cat."
Suddenly, he was startled when the hunter's hand brushed over his shoulder. "You alright? You jumped up higher than a startled cat," the hunter asked.
Rafayel replied, "You shouldn't sneak up on someone. Wouldn't you like it if the same thing happened to you, meow~"
"Why did you meow?" the hunter asked.
"I didn't," Rafayel said, covering his mouth with his hands before groaning inwardly. He then grabbed the hunter's hand and pulled them to one of the side rooms and out of the crowd's view. "Ok, I'm going to say something, and this absolutely cannot get out to the crowd. If it does, it could ruin my reputation," Rafayel hurriedly fidgeted. He removed his cap, revealing the neko-like ears sticking straight out and wiggling in anticipation.
"The CURSE," the hunter said, nearly shaking the last words. Rafayel yelped and covered her mouth, glaring at her with his ears flattening against his head. "What did I say!?" she nearly shouted before Rafayel slumped on the bench. "This is the worst day of my life. I look like a fool and can barely get my words out without meowing," Rafayel said, looking at his tail and playing with it, running his hand over its soft texture.
"Maybe this is good karma for all those times that you cheated at kitty cards, and besides, you look adorable," the hunter teased, reaching out and scratching him behind the ears and laughing as he began to almost purr at her touch despite the darkening of his cheeks. "This should be over by the end of the day…so hopefully, I can handle this," Rafayel said with a sigh but then pouted as he grabbed her hand again. "I didn't ask you to stop…damn it."

Rafayel: Neko Tales
As Rafayel made his way into the cafe, he was met with the lively sound of people playing an exciting game called "kitty cards" on LinkedIn. It was a fun game where players placed adorable cat holograms in coordinated cups, and the meows of victory and defeat filled the air. Rafayel sat and playfully poked one of the kitty figurines before him.
He jokingly warned his fellow hunter player that if she kept playing with the cats, they might curse her. He then playfully pretended to cast a spell on her but quickly switched one of his cards before she could see it. The hunter said the curse would turn Rafayel into a human-cat hybrid.
Rafayel laughed and settled back into his seat. He felt a brief itch on his nose as he noticed one of the cat figurines staring at him. However, he brushed it off with a sigh, wondering if the joke affected him weirdly.
However, the next day, Rafayel awoke with a panicked scream as he stared at himself in the mirror; eyes the color of red and purple stared back at him, but it was the pair of short and fluffy cat-like ears that sprung out of his head that was the most off-putting and scary part of this entire ordeal. "No, No. Not today, if any day for this stupid joke to be true, please let it not be today," he muttered to himself, grabbing one of the caps and slamming it onto his head before turning his head to look behind him, a long slender tail, the same color as his hair was poking out of his pants, it was soft and luxurious almost in the style of an ancient Maine coon, and he groaned inwardly as he tucked it, into his pants. "Well, at least nothing else changed too majorly. Meow ~," Rafayel said, and then his mouth quickly shut as he covered his mouth with his hands and stared at himself before the sound of his cell phone buzzing to light caught his attention much quicker.
"Hello."
"Rafayel, are you ready to get going? We have that art exhibit."
"What art exhibit? I don't remember there being any art exhibit?"
"The one you've been blabbering about for over a month now. How the famous Rafayel will be able to share all his incredible drawings with the world, and nothing would be able to stop him."
Rafayel made a choking laugh as he heard his own words repeated back at him, and for a moment, his tail stuck out and seemingly swayed back and forth. "Perhaps this was the wrong day, and purrhaps the great artist isn't doing well," Rafayel said but winced as he caught the cat-like purr that had escaped his mouth. "And perhaps you've been hanging out with the cats too much; you almost sounded like a cat yourself for a moment there." The hunter said, bursting into a fit of laughter. "You have no idea," Rafayel murmured low enough so that he couldn't be heard.
