“I’m mad, I’m mad, I’m mad, I’m mad, I’m mad, I’m mad.” Oasis kept repeating, as a mantra to try to convince herself that she was angry at Alvera, not actually upset, but it wasn’t stopping the tears that had been running down her face as she had been sitting on this park bench the past thirty minutes having a breakdown. It wasn’t a normal occasion that the blonde experienced feelings, but when she did, they were intense and all consuming, and she was experiencing feelings right now. A hurt version of love towards Alvera, and just utter sadness. Whenever she saw someone approaching the bench, she didn’t know if they were there to confront her for crying or just a normal walk in the park and were passing her bench but never-the-less the blonde yelled, “Get away from me!” in their direction, her voice cracking as she said it and causing her to cry more.

Oasis kept her eyebrows squinted throughout Alvera’s talk on the edge of the bed, not really knowing what to expect. Usually, this would mean something is over but, despite her knowledge that the brunette could be a bitch sometimes, she highly doubted the brunette would be enough of a bitch to end it without returning the favor. It was just common decency. But as the brunette continued to get dressed and Oasis let the words she was hearing sink in, it was like a switch had turned in her brain and she finally, fully was able to understand what was going on. A wave of disbelief arose on her face as she too, sat up as she asked, “Are you fucking kidding me?” And she wasn’t sure if how upset she was fully went back to the fact that Alvera wouldn’t return the favor, as much as she had started to care for the brunette, but she decided it was her best bet to act like it was just about the sex, she could gather her own other feelings later. “Did no one teach you basic fucking human decency Alvera? And I mean that word fucking as both in the fucking sense and in the emphasis sense.” She said, cocking her head with one raised eyebrow, waiting for the inevitable. She wanted to cry, but she wouldn’t. She couldn’t.

Alvera laid beside the other girl, pointedly staring at the ceiling above her instead of at the blonde. She knew that sexual etiquette stated that next she would have to return the favour, and normally she would have no problem doing so, but that didn’t match with her intent today. She hadn’t even really meant to sleep with the other but after her two weeks of abstinence she hadn’t been able to help herself when the opportunity arose. She was trying to get her breathing under control, finally letting her hands release the sheets beside her. She knew that this conversation would be a difficult one to have, and she wasn’t really sure if she was ready for it. She took a couple more deep breaths and sat up quickly, running a hand through her hair as she swung her legs over the side of the bed, searching around quickly to find the clothes of hers that had been discarded in their rush to wind up in bed together. “About that…” She trailed off, standing so that she could slide her underwear back on and fixing the straps of her bra that had slid off of her shoulders. Next was her shirt, which she pulled over her head, hoping that the blonde could assume where this was going based on her actions. “We can’t do this anymore…” She stated, just in case the other hadn’t got it, keeping her back to the bed she had just been laying on and to the girl who was on it. She didn’t know what the other’s reaction would be now that she claimed to be in love with Alvera. Part of her expected to get punched or yelled at and she was pretty sure she was ready for either of those two situations. She would probably just take it at this point, and leave whenever the other gave her the opportunity to do so. She was aware that what had just happened was incredibly rude on her part but she couldn’t really bring herself to care about hurting the other. “We can’t see each other anymore. Whatever this is will only lead to mutual destruction.”

She wasn’t sure it had been the best and that was the scariest part. Sure, it’s always nice to know that you pleased your partner in bed fully but Oasis had never been insecure about her skills in that department and, even if she did start doubting, she would convince herself sex was more about getting herself to feel that pleasure, that it really didn’t matter the partner. It was how it been with Alvera too, their last time around that is. For some reason, she cared this time. If Alvera had fully felt pleasure, she cared, and she was always insecure about if she had given that too her. And just about Alvera in general. She wasn’t sure what it was, but she had cared. She whipped her blonde head back and forth against the pillow, though, as she shook the self doubting thoughts from her mind. It wasn’t like she wasn’t sure that there would be another round and she would get another chance at pleasing the brunette woman, and she was sure she’d do better this time. At least that’s what she kept telling herself, despite the fact that these thoughts kept going to her mind every time the two had sex. Oasis may have been putting up a facade of confidence when she would tell CJ about it, but that was just it. A facade. And she was mostly doing it to get some petty revenge at him. But that next round would come after Oasis had gotten pleased herself, as she had yet to receive that from the brunette tonight. And, so, as her breathing went fully back to normal and she heard the brunette’s basically be there, she turned to her lover with a huge smile, knowing what to expect to come as she said, “Me next.”
