So who wants more news about America becoming a fascist paradise?
Florida's very own Marco Rubio, the new Secretary of State (who was confirmed by every single Democrat in Congress - remember that if you ask what Dems are gonna do about this) is currently trying to secure a deal with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele about his country accepting not only undocumented immigrants from El Salvador, but also from any other country. But that's not the most alarming part of the deal.

No, the fucked up part is that Bukele is also proposing the Trump administration that he'll take in AMERICAN PRISONERS as well.
Alright... I want anyone living in the US to think really hard about what that means. About what the consequences would be like if Orange Hitler accepts Bukele's offer.
It means that Americans who are in prison right now or at any point in the future - for any reason (such as trying to get an abortion, protesting in the streets or just for being brown) - they might end up getting "deported" to a Salvadorean mega-prison. Where the most dangerous members of the MS-13 gang are also being held.

To be clear, Trump has not accepted Bukele's offer at this point in time.
However, America's unofficial "President", Elon Musk, called the offer a "great idea!" on Twitter.

BTW, in Bukele's prison system nobody keeps track of who enters that hellhole. And its all by design. That is done to prevent family members from trying to contact anyone inside. So whoever goes in, they practically disappear.
Did I mentioned that prisoners are forced to build bridges and roads as if they weren't slaves?
Meanwhile, Marco Rubio thanked Bukele. Telling him that his kind offer was a sign that he was showing an "extraordinary friendship" to the US.

To which Bukele reminded him that he will only do it "for a fee". He expects American taxpayers to foot the bill.
And I'm 100% sure that the 77 million Americans that voted for all this fascist bullshit will gladly support sending American citizens to a Central American gulag. They'll even suggest sending a family member or two who they don't like.
Now, if anyone reading this suddenly laughs the next time they see an American movie where Americans are portrayed as the goodie two shoes heroes, I'll completely understand that outburst. We earned that laugh.

Raise your hand if you ever seen a clueless chud lamenting that Star Wars is political.
For example:

Then someone reminds them that Star Wars has always been political. Its called Star WARS, afterall.

To which another chud replies with:

Except that "real world politics" is all over Star Wars. This has ALWAYS been the case from the very beginning 👇

As a matter of fact, the political message of the Prequels is more relevant today than ever before.
At present, Americans have elected a tyrant who was given the power to threaten peaceful nations with invasion in order to secure a trade route (Panama/Greenland) or using a trade war to push forward a sinister agenda.

The real message of Star Wars is about how democracies get turned into dictatorships. And how people willingly give it away when they embrace tyranny.
During a 2005 Chicago Tribune interview, George Lucas stated that Star Wars "was really about the Vietnam War, and that was the period where Nixon was trying to run for a second term, which got me thinking historically about how do democracies get turned into dictatorships? Because the democracies aren’t overthrown; they’re given away."

And no series drives home better the message that Star Wars is political as all f*ck, than Andor.
Andor is an interesting series in that it tackles the reign of the Empire from the perspective of those working within it and those who are standing against it.
Its interesting because it shows us that enough time had passed since Palapatine became Emperor, that his tyranny had become the norm. To the point where even some rebels were having second thoughts about their commitment to the fight.
And THAT was the Empire's biggest achievement around that period of time. When they had successfully taken away anything that would give Rebels hope. By making them feel like the villains. Like the ones who were disrupting peace and prosperity across the galaxy.
The Empire was effectively dividing the resistance. And that's something that Andor manages to portray brilliantly. The series is about how the rebellion manages to regain focus. And to fight for any trace of optimism in a sea of hopelessness. Against incredible odds.
Does any of that sound familiar to you, living in the real world?
IMO, Star Wars having real world politics is what makes the whole thing transcend beyond it merely being something to make toys based on it.
Keep politics in Star Wars. For now and forever.

A reminder that Star Wars was created in the first place because George Lucas felt that President Richard Nixon was abusing his presidential powers such as reorganizing the executive branch for his own benefit or performing acts of war without consulting Congress. Among many, many other shady activities that led to the Watergate Scandal.
Lucas wanted to make a Vietnam war movie where the Vietcong were portrayed as the heroes fighting against the powerful military forces from the US. Who were being led by a corrupt tyrant (Nixon).
But when Francis Ford Coppola beat him to the punch by making his own Vietnam war movie - even stealing the title that George had come up with for his movie, "Apocalypse Now", Lucas took his idea and set it in space instead.
He replaced Nixon with Palpatine. And the Vietcong became the "Rebels" who fought against "The Empire".
Star Wars is a cautionary tale about how a democracy becomes a dictatorship. That was the whole point of the Prequels. And why they were so political in nature.
That scene with Padme, perfectly encapsulated that idea.
"So this is how liberty dies... With thunderous applause."

Here's why nobody should be silent about Trump sending 30,000 undocumented immigrants to Guantanamo Bay:

We all could be next in line.
Because in case Trump's current anti-DEI agenda has not clued you in already, the orange tyrant is not just limiting himself to giving illegal immigration a "final solution".
The Trump administration is very publicly going after anyone who it perceives to be different & that is currently working in the US government in any capacity - progressives, minorities, muslims, women who don't see themselves as walking incubators & who demand equal pay/rights, members of the LGBTQ community that are open about it, those who support Palestinians or Ukraine's war against Russia. Hell, even those who are disabled. They are all being targeted.
Even outside of the government, Trump is actively trying to erase from society those who he considers as being undesirable and worthless. He's already got colleges and universities adopting anti-DEI policies.

Same with big companies such as Coca-Cola, Amazon, Facebook and McDonalds. Among many others.
Anyone who can be branded as woke, progressive or the result of a DEI hire. Is being targeted by the current administration.
And what really needs to be pointed out here is that Trump's hateful agenda is being normalized by the news media. Its being treated as a nothingburger by many of them. Especially the local news channels that will refuse to even mention the subject at all in their newscasts
And because all this bullshit is being normalized, its only a matter of time before American citizens can either end up at Guantanamo or rounded up as animals to be sent to a concentration camp. As happened to Japanese Americans.
Wait... You don't think it will get that bad?
Give it time. History is repeating itself because as happened last time, good people didn't do shit.
Not until it was too late and people ended inside ovens or gas chambers. The people in charge always went: "Surely Hitler won't go THAT far, will he?". He did.
The big difference back then tho, is that the US didn't have a nazi as President and there was a "great generation" of young people who were willing to put their lives on the line to punch a fucking nazi.
These days, 77 million Americans voted for a fascist tyrant. And 90 million eligible voters didn't care that such a tyrant could possibly be elected as POTUS, so they stayed home during the presidential election. And they just let it happen.
Going back to the topic of Guantanamo, that is a place where torturing prisoners became the norm. And that was still happening during the Biden administration.
Here's a former counterterrorism special agent explaining to a reporter why it was important to keep the American people oblivious about what really goes on at Guantanamo Bay:
“What the U.S. government tries to do is ensure that what is going on (at Guantanamo) does not impact the contemporary conscience of the American public. Because if it does, there may be greater calls for accountability against those that tortured in our name. And the longer that you can keep that from occurring, the safer, not just for the torturers but also for the torture advocates, the torture lobby. Those who believe that torture should be used as an instrument of national policy would be in jeopardy (if the truth gets out). Their legacies would be in jeopardy. So they're hoping to control the narrative about what the American public knows or believes about the prisoners here at Guantánamo Bay”
Any reporter that goes into Guantanamo, has to have all their photographs or media reviewed by military officers before they leave. Anything that they consider that can be used to prove that torture is happening at the facility, is quickly destroyed.
So please, PLEASE... let's not normalize sending undocumented immigrants - entire families, women and children to such a hellhole.
Because if they went after them and we did absolutely nothing, we will deserve it when nobody does a damn thing when they finally go after us.
P.S. I can already see Trump weaponizing sending people to Guantanamo as a way to force politicians or people in positions of influence, to do as he wants. Because it would be very easy to make people disappear at Guantanamo.

Trump racist efforts to eliminate DEI (diversity initiatives) within the US government just resulted with innocent people dying.
According to recent reports, that plane/helicopter crash on January 29th, resulted from a staffing issue & the failure to follow safety measures.
There already existed a committee that oversaw air safety - the Aviation Security Advisory Committee. However on January 21st, Trump fired all the members of that committee. Arguing that it was a waste of resources. Which is funny because the fucker is now saying that the accident could've been prevented. If only he had not fired those in charge of preventing such accidents.

Also, on January 19th, Elon Musk had asked Trump to fire the director of the Federal Aviation Administration. Because said director demanded Musk's Space X to implement safety measures or else face a hefty fine. The director quit his post the next day, after being pressured to do so. To this day, the FAA does not have a director.
Speaking of the FAA, they had been having a shortage of critical air traffic controllers for years. And of course, Trump made that worse by issuing an anti-DEI executive order to halt recruitement programs that reached out to women and minorities. So now the FAA is limited to only hiring white, straight males.
Speaking of hiring straight white males, Trump appointed Sean Duffy, a former REALITY SHOW "celebrity", to be in charge of travel safety. Who is currently being blasted online for his incompetence and total lack of experience at the job.
I'm posting all of this here, not only because I usually tackle the issues related to DEI. But because the fucking mainstream media refuses to report on Trump's dangerous anti-DEI actions out of fear of facing any repercussions. We're like in freakin' Russia here. With the media being terrified to report facts less they get thrown out a window.
Their silence is complicit, tho. Because they're helping Trump carry out policies that have resulted in people losing their jobs, homes, and as we saw with the recent plane/helicopter crash, even losing their lives.
Anyway, its been less than a month since the orange turd became America's new tyrant. And the country is already fucked.
Have a good day!

The movie "Emilia Perez" being nominated for so many Oscars despite being a total piece of shit movie that botched every f*cking issue that the academy claims that it perfectly tackled, is yet another example of how detached from their audience, said academy is.
I'm 100% convinced that none of the old farts in the academy even saw Emilia Perez. And they likely only read a very short summary of it.
Not only is the director of the movie a huge regressive troglodyte who thinks Spanish speaking people (especially Mexicans) are automatically sub-humans who don't deserve proper representation on film. But the actress playing the protagonist, Karla Sofia Gascon, is also a HUGE racist bigot.
And here are the receipts: 👇

And Karla had something to say about black people too!

Translation: "I truly believe that very few people ever cared about George Floyd, a drug addict and a hustler. But his death has served to highlight once again that there are those who believe that black monkeys as having no rights and those who consider the police to be murderers. They are all wrong.”
Fortunately, some in the media are FINALLY catching up about what an overall piece of shit the lead actress is. The Hollywood Reporter is, well, reporting on it:
F*ck this movie and f*ck the Oscars for nominating this vile crap.
UPDATE: Just wanted to mention that Karla is trying to save her career in Hollywood (and an Oscar win) by pretending to be sorry that people became aware that she's a racist piece of shit.
She was recently on CNN en Espanol where she pulled the same old non-apology "sorry if my racism offended anyone" schtick.
The hilarious thing is that in her "apology" she says that she's sorry if expressing her (racist) views in the past, present or future, might offend anyone. She has no intentions to stop. WTF?!?

Karla, stop crying because you are being called out for being a racist. Instead stop being a racist, you dense motherf*cker! Jeeesus!

Here are the changes coming to all Meta owned platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp) now that Mark Zuckerberg has openly embraced the racism, bigotry & misogyny that permeates the MAGA movement - from a NYT article:
"On Tuesday, most of Meta's 72,000 employees learned of Mr. Zuckerberg's plans along with the rest of the world.
The Silicon Valley giant said it was overhauling speech on its apps by loosening restrictions on how people can talk about contentious social issues such as immigration, gender and sexuality.
It killed its fact-checking program that had been aimed at curbing misinformation and said it would instead rely on users to police falsehoods.
And it said it would insert more political content into people's feeds after previously de-emphasizing that very material."
(You can take a wild guess which political views will be prioritized on Meta platforms - just look at X/Twitter).
The article continues: "On Friday, Meta's makeover continued when the company told employees it would end its work on diversity, equity and inclusion. It eliminated its chief diversity officer role, ended its diversity hiring goals that called for the employment of a certain number of women and minorities, and said it would no longer prioritize minority-owned businesses when hiring vendors.
In interviews, more than a dozen current and former Meta employees, executives and advisers to Mr. Zuckerberg described his shift as serving a dual purpose. It positions Meta for the political landscape of the moment, with conservative power ascendant in Washington as Mr. Trump takes office on Jan. 20. More than that, the changes reflect Mr. Zuckerberg's personal views of how his $1.5 trillion company should be run — and he no longer wants to keep those views quiet.
Zuckerberg decided to promote Joel Kaplan (a staffer under former President George W. Bush, and he appeared at the New York Stock Exchange with Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and Trump in December) to Meta's head of global public policy to carry out the changes and deepen Meta's ties to the incoming Trump administration, replacing Nick Clegg, a former deputy prime minister of Britain who had handled policy and regulatory issues globally for Meta since 2018.
The night before Meta's announcement, Mr. Kaplan held individual calls with top conservative social media influencers, two people said.
The company also removed the transgender and nonbinary "themes" on its Messenger chat app, which allows users to customize the app's colors and wallpaper, two employees said. 404 Media earlier reported on the change.
That same day at Meta's offices in Silicon Valley, Texas and New York, facilities managers were instructed to remove tampons from men's bathrooms, which the company had provided for nonbinary and transgender employees who use the men's room and who may have required sanitary pads, two employees said.
On Workplace, Meta's Slack-like internal communications software, employees began arguing over the changes. In the @Pride employee resource group, where workers who support L.G.B.T.Q. issues convene, at least one person announced their resignation as others privately relayed to each other that they planned to look for jobs elsewhere, two people said."
Article's summary ends
There you go. Mark Zuckerberg is totally convinced that they (Conservatives and oligarchs) have won the "Culture Wars". And he's betting the future of Meta & its platforms, on Far-Right fascism being a permanent fixture in the American political and cultural landscape.
However, remember that these fuckers only have the power that they have because many people continue to use Facebook, Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp.
Stop giving Fuckerberg that power. Deactivate all your Meta accounts.
BTW, before you deactivate your Instagrams, tell the celebs and influencers that you follow there why you're leaving. Maybe they'll do the same - If (and that's a big IF) they actually care and give a damn about the progressive issues they claim to care about.
