Yo this is why Under The Never Sky is one of my fav series, Feyre and Cassian's friendship really reminded me of Roar and Aria's. There's just something so lovely about true friendships, 100% underrated imo
Why does nobody talk about that moment in ACOWAR when Feyre and Cassian hold hands when they’re walking back into the prison like the comfort and support they get from each other is so important

Fun fact
Hibernia translates to "The Land of Winter' because when Greek explorer Ptolemey first encountered Ireland he had never before seen such a wet and miserable land.
It's also the reason many people believe why Rome never conquered Ireland, allowing it to develop in isolation for hundreds of years........
Guyssss I just realised, you know how the acotar map resembles the uk and Ireland. Well in my history lecture, I saw this primary source image of early modern Europe
Tumblr media
And the Classical Latin name for Ireland is Hibernia. Idk I just thought that was pretty cool how SJMaas named it Hybern, after Hibernia

I still can’t get over the hilarity of the fact that Vaughan was mentioned in EoS to be searching for Lorcan in the North and yet he somehow managed to COMPLETELY miss the 4-month world-ending battle happening in Terresan
And I assume he never got the memo that the kill order for Lorcan was rescinded but also never put much effort into it so I imagine him just. Wandering the north. Picking up snow-covered rocks like “Lorcan? You under there? Ah, too bad”. Making friends with the local birds and learning a lot about the natural foliage

Turning Over a New Page; Your Basic Guide to Reading
Well, hello there.
Ok ignore that lame intro. Do not be alarmed, I'll think of a catchie phrase before you know it. After years of curiosity I have finally decided to join this thing you call "Tumblr". I consider myself quite up with the times internet wise, and for the last few years I was contented with following "The Best of Tumblr" on Twitter and watching Brent Riviera Vines.
Not only till I saw a picture discussing a favourite book of mine on a Tumblr Facebook page did I discover that Tumblr was so much more than witty conversations and funny pictures. It was a 110 MILLION strong community, where people shared knowledge and ideas and interests and opinions on almost every topic under the sun. It blew my mind.
Ok, I'm going to stop now. I can see the tears welling up in your eyes. Go on, run and get a tissue. I won't judge.
Anyway back on topic. Which I have yet to address. Ok yes, reading. I am a proudly an Obsessive Compulsive Reader. I have been reading since the tender age of 6. No lie. 10 years later and I'm still going strong.
I'm starting this blog to share the vast wealth of book knowledge I seemed to have accumulated over the years. Recommendations, reviews, discussions, ratings, all that jazz. I really think that reading is the most amazing thing mankind has created. To be able to think what you want, create new ideas, voice opinions, travel to a completely new world and become completely and utterly absorbed by 26 letters on a bit of dead tree is, well, pretty darn awesome
I really hope that by writing this blog, I can help someone start there journey into the world of books. It pains me when someone says they don't read. I pity them, because they haven't yet experienced what a book can do for a person. Yes, I'm looking at you, Generation Y, all you 10 to 24 year olds brought up in a world of Netflix and Internet.
So here it is. Your Basic Guide to Reading. I'm going to try and get you back on your feet. We'll start slow and the journey isn't going to be easy, but as good old JK Rowling said,
“If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book.”
And I'm going to help you.
