You might not like it, but if this song doesn't stir something inside you, you're either not human or you're dead.

When Innocence dies, she becomes an angry, dark winged angel who chases us, for the rest of our life.

Pisces swimming through the river
All their life against the stream
Searching for a hook to catch on and see their sun beam
Then suffocate in painful tortures
On cutting tables of callous men
Under a knife of handsome butchers
Emeralds are ripped away
Emeralds are ripped away
Emeralds are ripped away
Emeralds are ripped away
===
Do you ever feel like a Pisces, regardless of your zodiac sign?
Me? Every fuckin' day!

Persephone, the Queen of Hades.
Daughter of Demeter, she was abducted by Hades and taken to the Underworld.
Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, caused a famine in her grief, prompting Zeus to intervene. He ordered Hades to return Persephone.
However, Persephone had eaten pomegranate seeds in the Underworld, binding her to spend part of the year there.
Consequently, she spends part of the year with Hades and the rest with Demeter.
This myth explains the changing seasons: Persephone's return brings spring and summer, while her descent causes autumn and winter.

Nothing is lost. Not yet. It is just time to reconnect with nature and restore the ancient, sacred connection with Her. To be less human and more animal. I don't think that's so bad.
Do you agree?

In the end, buried or not, we all share the same fate: to become food for someone else.

The whole song is a masterpiece, but I find the very first verses truly enlighting.
In fact:
How many of us spend our lives chasing goals imposed by someone else?
How many strive to achieve a perfection that is not of this world?
How many embark on exhausting careers to fill their homes with unnecessary objects, neglecting themselves and their loved ones in the process?
How many let life literally slip by, just like the protagonist of this song, only to realize it when it’s too late?
Essentially, isn't it better to express your feelings to people while you're alive, rather than waiting until you're six feet under?"
What do you think?
