#i don’t think john even knows about the two incidents pictured#it’s v interesting to me how the way kyle is perceived by his friends and peers differs from his actual self and darker actions#hal guy and john all see him as having this almost saint-like nature#but the difference is that hal and guy see it as a good thing while john has a more negative outlook#and john keeping his true opinions about kyle deep down is fascinating to me#because he loves kyle the person but ultimately has doubts about kyle the lantern#and it makes so much sense that he harbors a small amount of resentment#kyle and john hours sorry…most underrated corpsmen relationship i think#kyle rayner#dc#john stewart#green lantern

Hal Jordan: his Parallax era is retconned so that he was fully in control BUT the reason for his heel turn is changed from Coast City's destruction to Carol leaving him at the altar.
Guy Gardner: his original backstory of being a social worker and teacher is restored BUT his personality is reset to the one-dimensional 'Murican parody he used to be during the JLI era.
John Stewart: his time in the Marine Corps is no longer canon BUT so is him being an architect. Instead, he was a former gang member who reformed after being chosen by a ring.
Kyle Rayner: no longer has baggage from the fridge incident because Alex wasn't killed BUT all his history and relationships with other heroes outside the Green Lanterns is completely erased.
