so kyle and alex worked together as a duo when he first became green lantern; he’d do the hero stuff and she’d take the pictures of him for the press etc. she was always at the scene with him which is what ended up putting her in danger. this got me thinking about the au where ganthet found alex instead and was green lantern (regardless of the fact that it was something kyle had created in his mind). we see that he was killed in the same way as alex was, so presumably his identity was discovered in the same way—by him being with green lantern constantly. but he’s not a photographer, and has really nothing to actively contribute to help her out at all…so was he just always there acting like a little cheerleader for her the whole time…

Wally: anyways, I became a doctor because he needed saving but of a different kind since Momma said I can't study him.

Wally: yes, these are my idiots.

Connor: damn right.

i got this idea where the countdown trio (lantern alex timeline) enter an earth with no lantern rings and they find this earth's alex. after a shock of finally meeting herself as her counterpart, kyle is mentioned. the trio find out that this earths kyle is in a deep coma and refuses to wake up from it.

i have 0 idea how but the trio manage to finally wake kyle up and alex gets to see a heartbreaking sight of her counterpart and her kyle have their happy ending. the one kind that she would trade almost anything for.
