||Kind of want to write Leon again but also hhhng life.||

||So definitely would like to add Astarion to my roster but I have thoughtsTM.||

||TW: Under the cut for canon typical sexual trauma(referenced), and sort of a vent. Also mild spoilers.||

||My only hesitation is that it seems like there's a huge wave of anti-poly sentiment and infantilization with him. Like as a person who also has sex trauma it's a little weird to me how many people look at him, a character that's whole arc is about his desire to be free and make his own decisions and are like "no you can't do x option in the game because it would make him sad/feel unloved".

Like it's just a little ick for me because being a grown person who also has sex trauma, I would never want someone else to pull shit like that and essentially take away my agency to make choices with my body because they're trying to "protect" me. It's just kind of a strange, sorta triggering grey area and I'm definitely going to be kind of wary of who I interact with because of it.

Also the anti-poly sentiments I've seen from the fandom are 😬 Especially also being a poly person. A lot of projecting insecurity onto him and saying he's not prepared for it/shouldn't have to make that choice when the canon events are not showing any of that? I feel like him asking if it was a sex related issue gets misconstrued as him being offended the pc/Tav is looking at someone else when imho it just sounds like he's trying to establish if there is an issue. So uh... Yeah at any rate I'm going to write him poly and if that isn't your jam then don't write with him, I suppose.||

||Hello! I am alive but the bg3 brainrot is real among many reasons.

TW: for mental health discussion and suicide mention under the cut||

||I will be honest and say I've been having a rough couple of months mental health wise and with a close friend of mine made an attempt on their life. I've been a bit checked out the entire time and while they're okay (and doing better it seems!!) It has been a lot to process and handle wrt my own mental wellbeing.||

||Essentially, I know I have been away for a while, and this blog IS still active, however I can't promise a return anytime soon. After extensive talks with my therapist, I am going to be restarting my medication as well as (hopefully) beginning ADHD treatment in the next couple of months. I appreciate you all being patient with me while I work through my mental health troubles and I genuinely care about all of you. I will hopefully be more active shortly, but again I can't make promises at this time because I'm uncertain what the side effects of restarting my medication OR starting a new medication may be.||
