Dating Wade Felton (SFW Headcanons) — Movieverse / Tumblr Edition

• He’s the type of boyfriend who always has grease on his hands, but will still cup your face gently like you’re made of glass.

“You’re too pretty for this world, babe. Don’t look at me, I’m gross—no wait, actually do.”

• Takes you to every garage sale and thrift store on the way to a road trip.

He’ll hold up a creepy old doll and be like “Name her.”

Bonus: He starts buying weird junk just because it reminds him of you.

• Obsessed with fixing your stuff.

Broken phone? Jammed zipper? Sad toaster? He won’t rest until it’s working. Even if you didn’t ask.

“Let me look at it real quick—I swear I can fix it. No, really, it’ll just take five minutes.” (It never takes five minutes.)

• Brings you mixtapes even though it’s 2005 and iPods exist.

Each one is scribbled with things like “Night Drive” or “Songs That Make Me Think Of Your Laugh.”

The handwriting is a little messy. The songs are perfect.

• He’s a bit of a baby when he’s sick.

You’ll hear the whiniest “baaaabe can you make me soup” from under a pile of blankets.

But if you get sick? He’s doting. Over-the-top. Puts a cold rag on your forehead and tells you stories till you fall asleep.

• Loves horror movies but hates jump scares.

He’ll literally flinch and then try to play it cool. “I wasn’t scared, I just—my shoulder cramped. Shut up.”

• Wade would 100% do that thing where he lifts your hand and kisses the back of it dramatically in public just to make you blush.

Then smirks like yeah, I’m corny and you love it.

• Wants to teach you how to fix cars but forgets to explain anything.

“Okay so you twist this and—oh shit hold on that’s the wrong socket. Okay, now crank—wait no, not that one—okay maybe just watch for now.”

• Gets so into Halloween.

Paints fake blood on his face, builds props from scratch, carves way too many pumpkins.

You two are known for having the coolest (and creepiest) Halloween setup on the block.

• Big fan of cuddles where your legs are tangled and he just sighs into your hair like “I don’t ever wanna move.”

• If you’re ever crying, he gets this tight, panicked look and does everything he can to make you laugh.

Silly faces. Bad impressions. A very heartfelt “Wanna punch me in the arm? I’ll let you. Just once.”

• Calls you babe, sweetheart, and “my girl” like it’s second nature.

But the first time he says “I love you,” he stammers, rubs the back of his neck, and looks like he might combust.

happy 20th birthday to the movie of all time, house of wax (2005). literally don't know who I'd be without this grimy grungy b-list horror flick made with so so much love. all my friends I've met through shared investment in the characters and setting and lore of this movie--I love you guys so fucking much. you're all so creative and talented and kind and funny and just wonderful. thank you for indulging my delusions and sharing yours with me. I treasure this swampy little corner of the internet so very much. I wanted to have a full fic done to post today and of course that didn't happen, but I might post a lil something later if I just can't help myself! anyways, happy birthday movie, I'm blowing out one thousand candles for you. <3

I watched house of wax (2005) with my best friend yesterday and I fucking LOVED it. Call me crazy, I don't really care. Some people seem to love it, some seem to hate it, but I found it great and I will probably watch it again especially around Halloween. Anyway, point is, expect art and or writing soon because how can I not get creative with the things I love?
