What do you personally think of the theory/headcanon that the lore update about Riot making Camille and Seraphine related(probably mostly adopted)?
I've not heard of that one. I don't have any strong opinion on it?
Seraphine is a very thinly drawn character, generally, because Riot hasn't put work into expanding her beyond her premise very much (thank you Legends of Runeterra for making an effort!), and in the canon that exists, Seraphine has no relationship with Camille whatsoever (nor any reason to have one.) Camille is concerned with preserving balance of power in Piltover, Seraphine is a pop singer singing kumbaya songs to the rabble (from Camille's perspective anyway). It's outside her sphere of interest.
Back when the Brackern were still the source of Hextech, there was more of a tangible thematic line between them, but now that Hextech is all science-invention, that's no longer relevant.
suqling made an amazing mini-comic depicting a confrontation between the two of them which I wish was more true to the character as she is presented, but... yeah.
Literally any headcanon about Seraphine is going to be more interesting than the reality of what's actually published.

Are you ever planning on making the TADC reactions available to non-members? since the outro still mentions becoming one even though it's members-only right now.
I'm recording reactions for ep 4 & 5 this weekend, and once they're up for members in early access, that's when I'll start scheduling them to go live to the public. Probably once per week, I think?
But yes, they will all be out to the public eventually.

What do you think of Arcane not using Camille, Ezreal, or anything of the other PnZ champions, and especially reworking the hex tech crystals? I think there was a voice line in the game that Camille was somewhat responsible for Vi and Jinx's parents death.
It was absolutely the right move for Arcane season 1, back when the show wasn't supposed to be the main canon. Arcane Season 1 already struggled with having too many storylines and not enough time to fully explore them, and adding ANY more characters to the cast than were in it already would have made it impossible to make anything cohesive.
It was a very good move to basically seal Arcane away from Runeterra Prime and most of its characters, and focus closely on the story of the three pairs: Piltover and Zaun, Jinx and Vi, Viktor and Jayce, weaving their stories in and around each other to tell a single tragedy.
... and there's really no better example of what a good move it was to do that than Arcane Season 2, which was catastrophically crippled trying to tell at least three full seasons' worth of story in a nine episode mini-season, ON TOP of trying to fulfil the sudden new role of becoming the new bedrock of lore and storytelling for the entire fucking IP. Imagine if somehow they would have had to try and also fit in Camille and Seraphine and Zeri and the Brackern and Blitzcrank and Twitch and Urgot and Zac and Ziggs and Renata Glasc and, jesus christ, Dr fucking Mundo.
That's what Riot wants to do with it now, though. They want, somehow, for the setting created by Arcane to be able to contain all of those characters coherently. Which it cannot, and should not.
Ah well. Corpos.

Hello! I checked your FAQ and wasn't sure so I'm asking -- can I send you cool fanart of Deltarune that I saw online ? (not even mine, just, cool fanart on the internet)
I mean, I guess you're welcome to send it in an ask here but I'm unlikely to post or respond to it. I rarely have much to say about cool fanart except "oh hey that's cool."
If you just want to be sure I see it, the best place to post it is honestly the #annoying-dog channel on my discord.
This link will work for 24 hours, and it's public to anyone who wants to join: https://discord.gg/8wTzEkQn

KDA x HUNTR/X
It's finally done!!! Kai'sa is here! Her outfit is inspired by Mira's first costume. Like every other artist online I have been obsessed with KPOP Demon Hunters so I had to make something for it so I was glad I was able to devote a few days to this. Thanks for supporting the process!

i reference “Ryoko Kui is the best to ever do it.” at least once every two months. did you like notice the way the wind shifted and the clouds parted and the stars aligned when you typed that out
Not really quite honestly (I am VERY surprised that post took off the way it did), because there's not much in that post that I haven't been banging on about for years now in my videos.
Or, well, there's Ryuko Kui in that post, which clearly was the difference-maker. Her work is such an astonishingly clear and effective demonstration of what an artist can do when they take full advantage of the toolsets of character design and apply them with forethought and care.

this may be too vague but do you have any thoughts on the altering/evolution of superhero suit designs into the more serious tone of the 00's-10's? e.g. the trunks vs no trunks debate (or more specifically id love to hear ur opinions on some of the new52 designs if ur into dc like that)
I don't really know enough about cape comics off the top of my head to be able to answer that, sorry. Seems like the kind of question Sir Superhero could do a good video on, though.

IK this is probably a basic question (albeit not in the FAQ), so apologies if it was answered already (feel free to link to that post if you did and can still locate it):
So, what inspired you to review/critque character designs on YouTube?
I mean, that one has a simple answer: nobody else was doing it the way I wanted to see it done, so I did it.
Not that I knew or know every person doing character design analysis on YouTube of course, I just personally couldn't find what I was looking for, and I figured, fuck it, might as well be me getting the ball rolling.

Hello! Do you post like unedited versions of your reactions anywhere? I'd love to watch your Kpop Demon Hunters reaction, but I can't afford to sit down for two hours and match your pausing and un-pausing. If you don't that's fine! I've just been wondering for a while and didn't really ever have a reason to be a bother in asking, sorry.
I've not done that, no. It might be the kind of thing I should post on Patreon though, huh... ?

have you ever considered analyzing viewer/supporter submitted character designs or do you think that would slip too easily into art critique to be viable?
As in, character designs created by viewers, or just ones from popular culture that they bring to me to look at?
Because the latter, sure, I'll probably do that as livestreams at some point.
But the former is... well, I offer character design feedback on my Patreon, and I'll probably sell it as a non-subscription service at some point, so if anyone wants feedback on their own work, is is technically available, but that kind of thing unfortunately just kinda doesn't work very well as Content™.
As anyone who posts their art online must eventually and bitterly realize, your intricate and well-thought out OC into which you have poured the whole of your heart and dozens of hours, to render them in divine splendor, will never attract one tenth the attention that a half-assed fandom doodle blearily posted at 3am will do.
This extends to doing videos about people's intricate and well-thought out OCs as well. I can market such a video series literally any way I want, the algorithms will take one look at it and say "nothing in here is clickable or relevant to current trends" and they will dump the videos - and quite a lot of my audience won't show up for it even if they do see it surfaced to them either. Because they don't really have that much reason to care about random strangers' OCs, certainly not relative to characters and universes that they are already invested in or participating in fandom for.
And it's fucking bitter. Because frankly I would love to do videos about people's cool OCs, but so long as my rent and my ability to take care of my own depends on those damn youtube numbers...
Well. It is what it is.

Somehow, June was ever fucking worse than May. Between Memorial Day and health struggles, almost every paycheck this month was short. While the health stuff is being managed, my finances continue to crater and when you are living paycheck to paycheck on minimum wage, any stumble feels like a catastrophe. I am coming up just over 300 short of making my rent after next week's paycheck and then almost another hundred more for my car insurance and my emergency resources have been draining faster than they are filling. . .
I hate having to ask this again but I need help. Nobody is obligated to give anything but I greatly appreciate anything anyone is willing to give to help me hold things together. I am still super grateful for the help I got before and am so sorry for having to ask again. If you can help, please and thank you. Hopefully I can hold things together and July shows mercy and gives me the reprieve I need to get back to stable but until then any help is appreciated beyond words, even just boosting this post so it finds eyesore anyone who could help. Things are very difficult for everyone and I hope someone hears my cry for help.

Hey, are you reading anything interesting these days? I’m looking for a new book and I thought you’d have good taste :)
I love your work!
Hope you’re having a good day :)
Hm, well, I picked up a comic called Sobek by James Stokoe on a trip to London recently. It's one-shot, single issue, but the artwork is ASTONISHINGLY gorgeous and absolutely worth experiencing. Guy renders volume and expression like nobody's business.

I've been reading A Brief History of Khublai Khan by Jonathan Clements, who's a very engaging history writer (his A Brief History of the Samurai is endlessly readable), and I'm slowly working my way through Edward Said's seminal Orientalism, which is one of the definitive studies in the meaning of that term.

Emily Wilson's translation of the Odyssey is pretty good (although I understand other classicists take some issue with her translation choices) if you want to re-experience that story, and Birth of an Industry by Nicholas Sammond is a really solid history of the animation industry, especially paying attention to the connection between minstrel shows and American race relations and the history of animation.

Play Nice: The Rise, Fall and Future of Blizzard Entertainment by Jason Schrier is a great bit of reporting on the history of Blizzard and why it has turned out the way it did.
Michelle Mary Lelwica's Shameful Bodies: Religion and the Culture of Physical Improvement is a book about the deep and intractable ties between religious conservatism and fitness- and diet-culture.

And of course, there's probably never a time in my life when I'm not re-reading something by Terry Pratchett. Most recently I chewed my way through Small Gods, but if you've never read his Discworld series, my strongest recommendation is to start with either Mort or Monstrous Regiment.

Do you have any tutorials on how to draw breasts and thighs? I can’t find any that really help me.
I don't really have art tutorials just On Deck, I'm afraid. They go around here on tumblr occasionally, and they pop up in the NSFW art community on bluesky from time to time. Best advice I ever got about drawing breasts is to think of them like water balloons, and handle their weight and volume in that way, but idk if that's useful for what you want to do.

It's a pretty good bit
My favorite bit is when one character is being absolutely ridiculous while another is just being so normal.
