Hey everyone, I’m Ocean James, and I am an author, and I write all genres of fiction as I write stories first, then categorize them by type later. I write various genres; horror, mystery, fantasy, paranormal, romance of most subcategories, and erotica.

My writing journey started at thirteen years old when dealing with traumas in my past that made me turn to write and became a safe place to express myself and my creativity.

I love writing and the writing process, and it is my mission to inspire others to achieve their dreams, and that is why I work as hard as I do to produce good quality stories that my readers will enjoy.

The quote I live by; Life has enough limitations; writing shouldn’t be one of them.

I was signed to Monreaux Publications, and I work as both traditionally published and self-published under the pen name Kornelia Blackmore. My published works with Monreaux are under Ocean James, and my self-published works are under Kornelia Blackmore on Amazon.

I also own and manage an audio podcast called The Writers Hulaballoo Podcast on iTunes, Spotify & Youtube.

Where I discuss the journey and trials of traditional and self-publishing—and narrate my crappy first draft stories to debunk the writing myth that it has to be perfect. It’s not.

Writing is a process that I believe gets undermined, and it is in that plight; I host authors on my show and openly discuss the pains of it all. I have sub-segments as well called The Reading Nook, where I narrate other author’s works on the show, and Grown Folk Talk, where I narrate smut and erotic writing.
