Kerry's message to the Japanese fandom

Yang has a bit of a reputation for sometimes pushing a little further than she probably should, and Weiss would be wincing if it didn’t seem as if Blake was enjoying this. There’s no real annoyance in her tone, gait light and clear as she argues back and forth, now going for a shove of her own. Actually, she looks—well. Happy to be arguing in the first place.

They’re partners—of course they’re bound to be close—but this suddenly seems different in some way. Weiss thinks, huh.

Yang dodges the counterattack and adds, “Plus, you’d miss me if I stopped.”

She might have won after all. Blake doesn’t seem to have a reply, and they continue on in silence. Weiss catches the barest glimpse of Yang’s smug smile as she turns her head, warm and far too pleased with herself to be healthy. Blake never denies it, and as they continue on, Yang’s smile only grows wider.

Huh, indeed.

I'm not a FIRST member, but I wanted to spread the word. The official shutdown date has been announced. May 15 is when it all goes down. One month from today.

This is your absolute LAST CHANCE to save ANYTHING from Rooster Teeth you may want to keep, whether it be RWBY, RvB, Camp Camp, et cetera. If you have any unfinished business, take care of it NOW. Once the calendar hits the 15th, the axe falls.

And just so you know, this is NOT me raising the RWBY white flag. Not even close. I'm not giving up hope anytime soon. Even when the site goes down, we still can't give up. The only time we can ever give up is when Kerry comes out and tells us it's over. And seeing how passionate he and the rest of CRWBY are about this series, that's not going to happen until they have exhausted EVERY option.

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know. May 15 is when the guillotine comes down. Do whatever you need to before then.

so as part of the RWBY 10 year anniversary celebrations in Japan (i posted yesterday about how they had a screening of the top 7 favourite episodes as voted by the fandom over there), there was apparently a video message from Kerry too where he talked about how the crwby want to keep the show going and he hopes to share some good news soon (and it's possible he recorded that message when he was in Japan last month)

like, they are staying optimistic and they are all so dedicated to keeping this show going, and y'know i think it's kinda beautiful how far this fandom really goes, people all over the world holding out hope that this story gets to finish on CRWBY's terms. they're not giving up, and neither should we
